This place is hit or miss, but today they had what I wanted, with a knowledgeable and helpful salesperson too! Previous staffing here had been a problem, but apparently with all the downsizing store closures in the area, we ended up with someone at this Boulder location, with experience from the now closed store at Flatiron Crossing and it was a win for the customers. I just needed a specific battery for an older model portable landline phone and after trying to locate one by phone first and getting no one helpful at the newer bigger specialty battery shop, I gave this old standby a try. Yes, they had it, more expensive than some online sources, and which also appeared to be out of stock at my most usual website choices, and I did not want to wait or pay shipping on something so small, so this worked. However, I will need at least one more of these batteries and today I bought the last of this model in stock. Since, the next one is not so desperately needed, I will pick it up next week when I was promised it would be back in stock. Convenient location for me, even in the snow, and lots of free parking.

I went in the day before in turmoil because I misplaced my charger and gave in after looking for it for 2 days… my cell was going to die and I’m sure most can relate to that anxious feeling of losing all communication with your world… lol the guy was very friendly and laid back! He said sure I would find my charger eventually if I kept the receipt I could return the replacement. Of course I found it the next morning, went in with my receipt and interacted with a different employee. He was rude and blatant, said because I didn’t have the packaging I couldn’t refund only store credit. Said verbatim, that it’s obvious that’s the policy. I guess I wouldn’t know since I usually shop at pro customer establishments like REI. Thanks for nothing but a headache!
