Sarito Carroll grew up in a context where alternative medicine was used in place of western medicine wherever possible. From a young age she was avidly interested in nutrition and medicine, and although she began her career in high-​tech, she found her way back to passion and studied acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, and functional medicine. Her practice in Boulder, Colorado includes a blend of all three.
