Specialties

My passion is «Bringing a Knife Back to Life» through Precision Sharpening and sometimes restoration. As close to a factory edge as you can get.

We Pick-up and Deliver, to save our customers valuable time.

We provide Knife Consultation which covers: knife maintenance, cutting surfaces, proper storage, proper grip and good habits for knife usage.

We even offer various styles of Loaner Knives, so that our customers never have to be without a sharp knife.

History

Established in 2014.

I started sharpening because; I bought nice knives in 2013 and thought they would stay sharp for many years. To my surprise the real sharp edge only lasted a few months. I began a quest for sharp knives and it led me into business in 2014.

I started with the WickedEdge sharpening system and combined with a digital angle gauge it produces a near perfect edge «I mean perfect»! The WickedEdge is a hand mountable repeatable method and is for people who are particular how there knives are sharpened.

I have since added the Tormek Wet Grinding system. The Tormek will satisfy even the most particular customer because it is a highly accurate and repeatable system although not measured digitally. It also allows me to sharpen house hold scissors, chisels and wood planes and I’ll be adding paper cutters and wood Planer blades.

I have picked these two systems because they are both highly precise systems without guess work and they are both considered top of their respective class.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeff Y.

Business Owner

I have lived in boulder since 2005 and love it here. Boulder is a great place to live. It has great hiking, biking, and fabulous recreation centers. Boulder has a wonderful music scene and many cool yearly events. I love all of these activities.

Volunteering is important!

I belong to the Odd Fellows here in Boulder. It is a benevolent fraternal non-profit organization focused on helping boulder and its surrounding communities. It provides educational grants, sends students on a UN Pilgrimage yearly, and donates to other non-profits such as Meals on Wheels, The Bridge House and others.

I drive a Meal on Wheels route each week.

For the past 5 years I have co-managed the Summit county aid station for the Triple Bypass Bicycle ride, it has provided donations to the Women’s Wilderness and The Wild Animal Sanctuary organizations.

I have also volunteered at Hidden Valley Snow Play area in the Rocky Mountain National Park for the past 7 years.

Let a local resident sharpen for you.
