I just purchased a 2004 Subaru Outback from Andy. Car is in immaculate condition for a 11 year old car and i got it for a good price. I asked a reasonable number for the truck i was trading in and he said ok without trying to haggle me down. This is the 2^nd vehicle i have bought from andy, and will be reccomending him to everyone i know who needs a car. I love my new subaru.

Very happy. I bought a 2003 Subaru Forester. Fair price on a good car. All the work that should be done to an old car was done. Paid a bit over blue book but blue book does not account for repair work. Sales staff was very knowledgeable. This place is a hidden gem, I will be back. I am a career firefighter in boulder county, I know a fair deal when I see one.

About 10 years ago I waltzed in, Andy showed me a Subaru Legacy wagon, just what I wanted. I ran it into the ground and just took it back, he gave me $ 1,500.00 on a trade in! Again, I just waltzed in and he had a Subaru Forester, looks great, he had just put in a new clutch, timing belt, head gasket, etc. It was quick and easy, price was exactly what several others were asking on Craigslist but I knew I could rely on Andy to sell me a good car. I also took the car to Chan’s, they confirmed that it is safe and sound. I’m totally happy! Andy is easy going and has a great sense of humor, his son Andrew gave me tips on college for my daughter who is going next year. Great experience, fast and easy.

I bought my car here about a year ago, and was waiting to write a review until I had ascertained that the car did not immediately fall apart upon exiting the lot… or fall apart upon beginning its long journey to California… or fall apart upon catching a glimpse of the 5 freeway.
Then, I got to California, none of the above happened, I had a great, reliable car, and I forgot to write the review!
OK, this dealership looks shady. The name sounds shady. There are old dirty cars hanging around in the gravel under trees. The man who runs it is very hands off, and sometimes isn’t even there. I believe he let me test drive without even looking at my license.
But it’s also total no-B.S. Our Mazda was listed — sticker-​price — quite a bit under blue book, which made it awkward to negotiate. He wasn’t really a negotiator anyway — he was like, here’s sticker price. OK, I’ll meet you more than halfway on that. Nah, I’m not going down any more. Let me know what you decide!
We took the car down the street to Chan Foreign Car for an inspection before we bought it. When we came back, and told the guy at Smooth Motors what they said needed fixing, he started talking about how mechanics always say stuff’s wrong when it isn’t and we shouldn’t rely on a mechanic’s word and blah blah blah… until we told him it was Chan we took it to. «Oh, those guys are cool,» he said, and no more was said about mechanic exaggeration.
He didn’t give me the right paperwork and I had to come back after going to the DMV and that was annoying, which is the only reason this is not a five star review.
Go here if you’re in the market for a used car! The selection may not be very big, but if he has what you want, you will avoid the headaches, manipulation, and games that go on at most of the major dealers.
