Wow, worked with Rebecca Holley at Spaces Real Estate and couldn’t be happier! As recent transplants to Boulder, CO from the twin cities in Minnesota, the sticker shock of the housing market was more than extreme. My fiancée and I tried out several Real Estate Agents and Realtors(apparently there is a difference as Rebecca will explain) before a tip from a friend directed us her way. I learned more in the first hour with her than I had in the past couple of years casually looking to purchase a home in Minnesota and months seriously looking in Colorado. Not only does she know how to educate her buyers on what they need to do to close a deal in one of the most competitive markets I’ve ever seen but she and her entire staff are a pleasure to work with. She has a no-pressure style and does not try to persuade you to purchase more than you can handle financially and she is very straightforward about what to expect. My only caution is to make certain you have all of your financing ducks in a row BEFORE doing any showings because once you find something you love and put an offer in she may stipulate a timeline that is faster than usual if it makes sense(of course she will talk about it with you but I don’t think we quite grasped the complexity as first time home buyers). This can definitely help you get the property by making you more competitive than the next person but just keep that in mind if that is the timeline you discuss with her.
