History

Established in 1990.

Squareroot Construction as an independent contractor specializing in exterior trim on custom homes. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, most decks on new houses were built by the exterior trim crews. We built many decks while employed as the exterior trim crew. When not siding houses, we were doing framing, remodeling, interior trim and many other type of construction projects After the downturn in the construction industry in 2001, we decided to concentrate on obtaining our own jobs rather than relying on other contractors and builders to provide us with work. With the growing popularity of composite decking products we were poised to take advantage of the growth in out-​door living style projects. We have maintained our high standards and have developed a rather large portfolio of unique deck projects. We are proud to say that we have NO unhappy customers. As the owner of Squareroot Construction, Doug L worked as a sub-​contractor specializing in exterior trim and deck construction. After some 10 or 12 years of pleasing other contractors, Doug decided to take Squareroot Construction to the next level by offering his services to the general public. That was some 12 years ago and several hundred satisfied customers later, he is still at it!
