This is my worst shopping experience in my life.
I ordered this item on ⁴⁄₂₃ and it said I can pick up this item in store on ⁴⁄₂₇. When I placed the order, the item was still available. However, on ⁴⁄₂₆ morning, I received an message and it said this item was no longer available and the order was canceled. The most funny thing is that at that time when I checked this item online, it still showed that this item was available but my order is canceled anyway.
So I went to other retailer store and brought one.
But things does not end. I received another email on ⁴⁄₂₈ and it said my order was ready to pick up. So I have to went to the store and check if they really sent me this order. I did find a package in the store with my name. Ridiculous things happened again. The package was empty!!! Staples sent me my order with an empty box and notified me that my order is ready to pick up! How funny it is! I have nothing else to do but just called the staple and made sure that they don’t charge my card.
I must say this is the most funny and ridiculous shopping experience in my life. I will never ever buy anything from Staples. Staples really really sucks!

This store is managed by a knucklehead. Nice cage, no bird.
Captain Numb-​nut has trained his staff to manipulate customers into high discounts, but they don’t tell you the discount only comes after you apply for a store credit card — which they call Rewards.
They even tell you you it’s not a credit card and that you’re not applying for credit. The tactics are misleading and illegal.
When confronted with this, the manager remained on his ladder and patronized me with a 1973 speech about «this is how corporations work». Thanks Mr. Rogers, but I’d prefer speaking with someone who understands how to take care of customers.
The sad youngling who works under him was unable to muster enough of a response to keep me there. Upon cancelling my order, there was no response from the manager because, well, he’s partially braindead. I drove 2 min away to Office Depot and spent my $ 600 there.
I sent a Linkedin message to the regional manager in Denver and he actually called me to apologize. He gave me $ 100 coupon and actually said «I’m sorry you had to deal with a knucklhead.» He told me they are going to send the store’s manager back to How to Be a Human Being school. I’m sure he’ll excel wonderfully.

I find this particular Staples not only understaffed, but useless for me. The Office Depot, about 2 miles away, is much better, though it’s also been here much longer.
I’ve been in this Staples only twice, and won’t bother coming back, and the one in Ft. Collins once. I didn’t find what I was looking for any of those times. The employees I spoke with were pretty much useless in helping me find my items as well. Instead, they suggested I order them. Why would I order something I need today, such as printer ink? It’s as though they’d rather be working somewhere else than here. Ok, maybe office supplies aren’t very sexy, or fun for the most part (yet I know plenty who think otherwise), but that’s no excuse for poor customer service and lack of stock on common items.

Don’t be fooled by the two dollar return offer on used printer cartridges. They only give you points on your club membership. Also, to take advantage of those you need to spend $ 30 a month on cartridges. Not at all made clear on their website and not as advertised.

Don’t go for ink!
I went in looking for black ink for my printer. I needed to print a document within the next couple of days. The guy who helped me said they only carried the combination pack of black and colored. He said I could order the black ink and pick it up in 2 days.
The ink was in store ready for pick up by Tuesday afternoon. I paid just under $ 50 for it.
When I went to put in the ink, I realized he had ordered me colored!!! I had to return it.
LUCKILY, OFFICE DEPOT was just down the street. After returning the colored ink, Office Depot had just the black ink available AND for CHEAPER!
Thank you Office Depot. NEVER going to Staples again. The employees there apparently don’t listen.

Guys. I’ve never wandered around a store so many times wondering if anyone worked in the actual aisles. Seems to have gotten a little better as late and will up the stars if you can start realizing that customers need assistance at times.

Pretty standard store. They usually have what I need but there is not very much staff in the mornings. Today I went for a shredder that was listed on the website as in stock. The shelf was bare. I found someone to look it up on the store stock computer. It said there were 9 in stock but the salesman said they had looked all weekend and could not find any. Tried to sell me a different brand. It had terrible user reviews so I said I would wait for the good one. A wonderful young saleswoman volunteered to go look in back stock again. She found them and lugged a huge crate of them out to the floor, gave me one and stocked the shelf. It was also on sale for half price! Good deal and great persistence on her part and mine.
Clean and bright store with easy parking.

It’s a Staples, I mean you only come here if you know you need to. It’s not a place I just wander into to browse for the sake of it. That said, it’s nice to know what they do and do not have.
Things I like: Pretty easy to navigate, they put lots of commonly requested items in the middle of the store, away from aisles so it’s easy to see.
–They have a whole wall of computer ink and toner which is really well organized and it’s easy to find what you need.
–They have drafting tape. This is tape used in art drafting projects, but orchestra students need it to know where to put their fingers on their instruments. I need *a lot* of it at the beginning of the school year, so I know exactly where it is in this store and it’s nice and tears easily. However it doesn’t stick easily, which isn’t their fault but is still annoying.
There isn’t too much that bugs me about this store, save that I dont’ see many employees and the few I have seen had no idea what I meant when I said «drafting tape» which is what this product is labeled as on the package. The only thing that really bugged me was/​is the store’s tax-​exempt protocol. Most places, they take your name/​business name, you give them your number, maybe you fill out a form. Here, you actually have to have a «Staples tax exempt» card with you in order to make a tax exempt purchase. If you don’t hav eit with you they can only look it up by phone number, and the phone number is whatever number the account creator gave. So, in a school with 50 different phone numbers for all the different rooms, this can be problematic. When I came in and had forgotten my card, the employee working the cash register was not in the most patient of moods, and seemed very put out that she had to type my phone number into the computer. There was no one behind me in line, so who knows what the deal was. Honestly, it’s enough of a hassle that if the purchase is just a few dollars, I don’t even bother. But, for ink purchases it matters. Boulder is surprisingly lacking in office supply stores, so this is about your only option, and it serves its job pretty well overall.

I’ve been in many staples in my career and what always strikes me as odd is that this location is ALWAYS busy, no matter when I stop in. The staff is super nice and they always help me when I need it.
I like that this store is located near major streets and has it’s own parking lot. Great place.

In 2012, I thought the store was great and the staff helpful but the service has declined. Too bad.

I had a quick copy job, and they took 10 — 15 minutes to discuss how it might best be done. They seemed nice and knowledgeable, but after deciding to go ahead with their suggestion they told me that they were so backed up it would be a day or so till they could get to my job. I just wish I knew this upfront so that they wouldn’t have wasted their time and mine when I knew I had to get this done within the next few hours.

Nice friendly staff and a good assortment of all one could possibly need in the land of paper products and office supplies, etc. This year, Staples had the best school supply shopping.

Awesome staff, awesome management, and AWESOME store! Has everything… From Pringles to chairs, coffee to calculators, laptops to the «shake-​weight». Love this place!!!

I go to Staples a lot for my job. Most of the time the staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s one woman who I think is the manager who goes out of her way to help people, whose name is Shavonda, I think. (I’m just trying to remember what I saw on her name tag, I could be wrong)
Anyway, she’s very courteous and knowledgeable, which is greatly appreciated.
I give this a 4-​star rating because at times I’ve had people wait on me who could be trained better. It once took almost 30 mins for a simple exchange because the person doing the exchange seemed baffled at how to do it correctly. I actually had to explain to him what he needed to do, which was a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully he was new and still in training…

Just your basic staples, open late, easy parking and well stocked. I find most of my office supplies (printer, print cartridges, paper, pencils, cords, etc) here.
