Very good thai food I had the green curry which was fabulous. The chicken was so tender and the sauce was on point. The service was good and the prices were too. Would definitely come back !

This restaurant seems to be always full especially during lunch, but somehow I always manage to find a seat. Had Chicken Rice with Grilled chicken, it was decent. Probably 4⁄5. Not the most delicious Thai restaurant in Boulder, but for the price, it is definitely worth it. Also, the restaurant owner really appreciates the customer and always greet you with a smile!

Honestly, I don’t understand all these good reviews. What I ordered was barely edible and ended up throwing it away. What a waste of money.

Pretty good authentic Thai. My wife and I both had the pad Thai which was good. Medium wants to hot and the no spice version was really no spice. So don’t be afraid to add the spice and enjoy We were there right after the big snow so they were out of some dishes. A nothing fancy place just go for the food

This is not a good Thai restaurant if you are looking for traditional Thai food. It has a VERY limited menu. My daughter’s Pad Thai was terrible. It didn’t taste like any Pad Thai we’ve ever had. My wife and I ordered meals that were fair. My son did like his Masaman Beef. Thai food is our favorite so we were disappointed. When I was pre paying at the counter, the computer screen asked how much I wanted to tip– 10, 15 or 20 percent. I was surprised because it was counter service but I assumed after ordering, our food would be brought out to us and we would have service. Nope! We had to get it ourselves. Then when we were leaving, the girl behind the counter asked us to clean up after ourselves. I said«what was my tip for?» She chuckled. If you go to this restaurant do not pre tip when you pay! You get no service. This place was a disappointment.

Not sure where the 4.5 stars came from. Food was cold, tasted horrible, and made us sick.

Really authentic and delicious Thai food. I had papaya salad, Thai basil chicken and thai tea, the seasoning is just perfect.

Really close to the CU campus with a parking lot nearby. The menu is limited but very enticing and easy to order. Service was good and quick. Try the chicken and rice and the pad Thai they are really good. The curry noodle was just ok unless you really like curry. All in all a good value for a fast Thai food restaurant.

I have been here a couple of times in the past few years, and I have to say that it has not strayed from its authenticity. When it first opened up it had a mom-and-pop feel to it. The Thai food tasted as if it were made straight from a Thai home. That feel hasn’t gone away and the quality taste is still present. Any of the dishes are good, so I won’t even bother giving a specific dish recommendation. Enjoy!

I feel like the customer base of Terra Thai is people that have gone on Unilocal, typed in «Thai in Boulder» and hoped it wasn’t something had not disappointed us before… and we are joyous because found the place. This is it. This is the best Thai food I have had out of Thailand… best in Colorado for sure and it sits on the hill hidden from most people. Why is it so good? First the staff. They are sweet. They learn your name. They welcome you back. They treat their restaurant as a community and ‘earn their turns.‘ The menu is simple and you really can’t go wrong. The Papaya Salad and Heavenly Chicken is my personal favorite but the Green Curry is that perfect punch of spice and flavor. They even had Massaman Curry(my personal favorite while I was traveling and harder to find in the states and extremely hard to find done really well, which it is). Finally, I love it because it is a bit hidden, hard to get to and the top on my list when I think«where do I *want* to go for something amazing?» Thank you Terra, you are amazing.

This little restaurant is just a nice surprise. It has small menu but still cover variety of Thai dishes from spicy salads, noodle, rice, etc. The food taste great and the owner was very kind and friendly. She noticed that I am a tourist, so she recommended me a lot of nice places to visit while I was in Boulder. The price is very affordable. Clean food, good taste, affordable price and nice service. What could you ask more?

Just wow. Little hole-in-the-wall Thai place. I ordered braised pork in rice. WINNER! I was shockingly surprised how good it was. It only cost me $ 8.17 including tax. Now I understand the reviews. I will be back many times. I have returned several times now. Such a great place. Such great food. And even great wifi, see the speedtest image. The restroom is acceptable.

We had a craving for Thai while brewery hopping in Boulder, and Unilocal did not lead us astray! This restaurant has more of a casual, dine in/take out atmosphere rather than a formal, sit down type of setting, and given our desire for a low key meal, it was a perfect fit. Not sure what we’d like and in the spirit of trying something new, the three of us just randomly picked numbers. After trying all three of our dishes(and while all three were tasty), my choice of the #6 couldn’t have been a better pick. It had just the right amount of sweet and heat, and I’ve been drooling for some more ever since!

I’d been away from Boulder 10 months, traveled much of the world, but remembered my one meal at Terra Thai fondly. Upon my return, Ang and her family did not disappoint! I told this delightful woman my dilemma: I want vegetables, yet Thai food generally is about the meat, with veggies secondary. She suggested their new Thai Sukiyaki soup and, wow, it was fantastic. Now, the reader may whine that«Oh, that’s not an authentic dish.» Oh, really? No, it may not be traditional but, let me tell ya, this was prepared by a bonafide, journeyman Thai chef and is better quality than any Thai street food. And that’s saying a lot. In the bowl: Thai watercress Napa cabbage rice noodles chicken egg fish balls green leaf lettuce sesame oil fish paste(likely) Sriacha

Great casual lunch place. 7 $ for chicken red curry noodles. The portion was suitable for lunch. There are about 10 offered dishes and no substitutions. The green curry was good too. Not the best thai I have had but its an unique option are far better in my opinion to enjoy a bowl of red curry compared to a sandwich at a chain for the same price.

The Good: This tiny, two year old Thai place is where a skate shop used to be on the Hill, offering a limited menu of authentic & flavorful dishes in a casual atmosphere. Our food was unique and delicious and we’ll be back! I also liked the big photographs everywhere of Thai people & places. The Bad: There’s only one vegetarian dish on their small menu(though it is delicious). UPDATE: they changed it so one of the meat dishes can be made vegetarian! 2 veg options now! We each ordered an entrée with Thai sausage for an appetizer, and all arrived at different times. my boyfriend’s first, sausage next, mine last. It’s casual and clearly family owned & operated, not corporate, but they could work on the timing. The Food: We got soy & hot sauces on the side in advance but my boyfriend, a chef and butcher, declared his pork noodle soup was so flavorful he didn’t even need them. My butternut squash curry dish was delicious and the squash was perfectly cooked. I would have liked more sauce but then again I love the sauce! Their Thai sausage was awesome, homemade and totally unique. Tip: get a coconut juice, it cools the fire and pairs perfectly with the spicy flavors. The Service: Order at the counter — our service was slow but friendly. Bus your own table, fast-casual style. Overall: Good value, worth checking out for affordable, casual, authentic Thai.

I’m a regular here on the weekends that I’m free now. They continue to keep things simply priced and coming up with different dishes to supplement their menu. They are very friendly and continue to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. As my previous review stated, it’s not your run of the mill Thai food so don’t come expecting Pad Thai on the menu. My favorites are Khao Soi, Beef Panang, and the Pork Stew. But after this past weekend, I’m going to have to say it’s the Boat Noodles. They work hard on creating balanced flavors in their dishes and with the Boat Noodles, I love the variety of flavors in the broth, the different textures with the pork, beef meatballs, and the crunchy pork rinds. It’s more soupy than your regular boat noodles in Thailand but still delicious. Go try them out yourself!

My sister and I somehow took a detour coming back home from the Rockies, and we ended up heading on the way of Boulder. Knowing nothing about Boulder and finally getting enough of a signal, I told my sis I can’t wait any longer for food, and we need to find something, fast. That is how we found Terra Thai. We drove by it(as I am almost sure the lot next to the place is for the building it sits under, not next to), so I turned around. I paid $ 4 for parking(which I ended up givng the ticket to someone else having trouble with the parking machine) which was about a block away. We walked in. First of all, I would like to mention there is nothing really fancy about this place. For the most part, it is all white in a building built in the 60’s/70’s. There are about 6 – 7 tables in all, mostly 2 tops(there is one larger table in the front window). At the end of the day, they advertise it is street fare. The menu is simple, I would say maybe 10 or so things to choose from. I just wanted a meal that would fill me up. I also got some coconut water too(with pulp, just a heads up) to wash it down. The cashier was very friendly, and kept calling me «Thomas»(the name on my debit card I used to pay with). Dinner was cheap– like both people under $ 20. I think that was the cheapest dinner I have for 2 people. I couldn’t wait to see what the hype was about. A few minutes later, the food came out. I didn’t waste any time– I wolfed my plate. The food was seasoned well, however I wish it was a tad spicier(even with the added chili oil). I could have gotten used to eating that. It even seemed healthy too. Dispose of your plates in the rear, and there is a place to drop off your glass/aluminum drink containers as well. There is a bathroom around the corner– it is kind of interesting(like you have to go down an alley?!). Do not expect a ton of Thai choices– remember, this is street food they advertise, not a full menu– and they do a great job cooking it.
