In the center of North Boulder’s emerging art district, you will find a multicultural, community-centered hub at The Secret Garden Boulder. The business pushes the support of local and regional artists as well as worthy social causes and up and coming musicians. The new ownership and staff have been eagerly anticipating and are excited to announce the opening of their Holiday Store and Christmas Tree Lot along with their unique venues available for rent.

The Secret Garden Boulder has raised the bar by bringing in Colorado Native Trees and fresh wreaths. These space-saving trees are harvested consciously for fire and disease mitigation and have a reduced carbon footprint making them eco-friendly alternatives. The multicultural products available for retail purchases range from hand-made Balinese crafts and indoor/outdoor furnishings to Japanese vintage arts.

The year-round, community aspect of The Secret Garden Boulder offers many possibilities for any occasion. With a location as unique as this, you’ll want to book your holiday parties, wedding, book clubs, business meetings or group yoga/meditation times well in advance to ensure a spot in one of their three rentable venue spaces. A multicultural theme adds to the soothing ambiance in both The Green House and The Gallery while The Secret Garden venue boasts a multi-use stage and beautiful gazebos. The possibilities of use for this space are endless and the on-site staff can help to customize your event.

History

Established in 2014.

I have lived and visited many places in the world and appreciate the unique traditional offerings and art forms of each culture. Much of my perspective on culture comes by way of several years of childhood living situations away from family, in places where I was a foreigner and had to learn the local language and customs to communicate. This always led to a greater appreciation of the glorious diversity of human history, traditions, foods, medicines, literature and art. The development of The Secret Garden and my engineering practice are both focused on a triple-bottom-line approach to planning, sustainable resource management cooperative business and community. I believe that cultural exchange, inclusivity, and connection to divine source are essential keys to Peace. The Secret Garden is a place where these ideals are shamelessly promoted through the sharing of food, music, art, cooperative business, and education.

I have lived and visited many places in the world and appreciate the unique traditional offerings and art forms of each culture. Much of my perspective on culture comes by way of several years of childhood living situations away from family, in places where I was a foreigner and had to learn the local language and customs to communicate. This always led to a greater appreciation of the glorious diversity of human history, traditions, foods, medicines, literature and art, which is a key aspect of my own brand of spirituality. As an environmental engineer, I spent 12 years designing industry-leading water and waste-water treatment works around the globe. I went into this field to help clean up and create a more sustainable relationship between humans and the planet. I am the proud father of two amazing young ladies, ages 15 and 11, who anchor me and have fortified my resolve to make a difference in this world.
