As one of the few companies who specialize in job search services and recruiting we are uniquely qualified to help you reach your job search goals.

Our resume writing services have helped hundreds of people refine their resume and get interviews. Our Certified Professional Resume Writers help you with your resume building and your LinkedIn profile. Still don’t know what you want to be when you grow up? Our Career Coaches will help you layout a path for success that is based on your strengths and skills. Career Counseling points you towards the job you love and what you are uniquely wired to do. We also offer interview training to help you rock your interviews. Learning how to interview will ensure you make a great impression in your interviews so your biggest problem is deciding which job offer to accept. We will help you to discover, find, apply for and get the job of your dreams. It’s time to find a new job, the right, your dream job.

Established in 2011.

After years of seeing people and companies struggle to find the right fit, Kendra Prospero started Turning The Corner, LLC to provide employment services to help both the job seeker and human resources department.

Our team works diligently to provide professional services to allow seekers to find their dream job and companies their dream employee. We love what we do.

Business Owner

Kendra Prospero started Turning the Corner, LLC to fulfill a goal and passion to help people find joy in the work they do and the companies where they work. She left a successful career at IBM, where she excelled in personnel development, professional services, sales, and human resources.

Her time spent counseling fellow workers and helping them discover and reach their goals brought a desire to help more people. Through Turning the Corner she has helped many people find their dream job and love the job they do.

Offering both recruiting and job search services, her vision has enabled both job seekers and companies take a new approach to employment. By reaching beyond the norm and searching for positions and people that compliment strengths, goals and dreams, both business and employees win.

Kendra is known by her friends and colleagues as someone who is passionate about her work, inspiring, insightful and determined. We look forward to helping you with that same energy.

When I decided to explore the possibility of changing jobs, the first hurdle was updating my resume, a task that could make me the queen of procrastination. Based on the recommendation of a friend I reached out to Turning the Corner for assistance, what a great decision! From the first moment that I spoke with the team they alleviated my concerns, encouraged me throughout the process, and provided an outstanding final product. I went back to Turning the Corner LLC when I decided it was time for a career upgrade, this time partaking in the Job Search Essentials offer. I worked with Elizabeth for several weeks and learned so much about tailoring my job search, networking, and how to apply for positions I was interested in. TTC teaches you how to turn your job search into a job in and of itself, but it’s a job that becomes effective (unlike the months of searching on my own).
I’m pleased to report that I received a nice job offer after beating out 4 other candidates who had already been in the final stages of the interview process by the time I submitted my resume. After a whirlwind interview process I received a job offer in just over 24 hours from my first of five interviews. I know that I have Turning the Corner to credit for this success as it was my resume that got me in the door so late in the game and the skills from the webinars that helped me perform well at the interviews.

I worked with Carrie for interview coaching and resume sharpening. I was facing the challenge of re-​entering the work force after a year of volunteer work and sabbatical. Carrie’s coaching was key in getting me to articulate and present what I have to offer. I started working with Turning the Corner after 3 months in my job search process. At the beginning of the year I realized I was bored and restless in my current job. Sitting down with Carrie was a turning point. She helped me identify my core values — and from there it got fun. It was a relief to understand why I had a disconnect and without self judgement or fear I began to look toward what was right and exciting for me.
Meeting with Rose took me around the corner. Writing out my accomplishments was illuminating and I knew it was time to go. One I was brave enough to put my credentials out there, I was contacted by several organizations. Ultimately, I chose to work for an individual and organization which matches my core values, my personality and my desire to contribute.

Carrie was an incredible ally in the very stressful job hunting process! I moved to Denver and wanted to step back and reassess my career goals. Carrie made the stressful process of 1. Figuring out what direction I needed to take and 2. Securing a job very manageable. I purchased the 3-​session package which begins with an assessment test to see where your strengths/​weaknesses lie. The in-​depth sessions also cover values (any «musts» you need from a job), as well as interview/​networking tips. The process allowed me to narrow down what jobs would be a great fit based on the way I work and what I needed to feel satisfied in a particular field. Even after our sessions ended, Carrie remained very available to take my phone calls and emails whenever I had a job hunting question (salary negotiating, interviewing, etc.). I’m so excited to have found a job that is a perfect fit to ME and I know I could not have accomplished this without Carrie’s help. I don’t think you will find a more knowledgeable or supportive career coach out there. I highly recommend Turning the Corner to any career changer or someone needing some career guidance.

Working with Kendra was transformative. As with all change, it’s not always a pleasant experience, but Kendra was my advocate. She was patient, kind and pragmatic. After attending one of the Job Seeker forums, I scheduled a time for some resume feedback. The thing I think helped the most for me was Kendra asking me some hard questions: What was holding me back? What happened at the last job? What do you want to do? She challenged me to take 100% responsibility for whatever happened last year and to let it go. I did that on a long walk with my poochie. That was so powerful and cathartic.
I now have found not one, but TWO dream jobs thanks to my work with Kendra and Turning the Corner. They provide an incredibly helpful service.

Turning the Corner helped me find the confidence necessary to take the steps towards finding the right fit for me both professionally and personally. I used two services, career counseling with Carrie and resume writing with Rose.
The career counseling was very impactful, as I was not sure I was looking for the right roles. The personality assessment and in depth conversation with Carrie helped steer me towards remaining true to what I excel in, as well as identify what job specifics or company cultures will elevate my natural ability or preferences. Carrie continues to make me feel cared for and invested in both during and after our sessions were complete.
In addition, I worked with Rose to develop an in depth resume tuned towards the job specifics I am both seeking, as well as highlighting my previous accomplishments. I am now very confident in the master resume I send out to prospective employers, armed with the knowledge that it clearly identifies the talents I feel apply towards prospective roles.
Making a career change and looking for new jobs is a rather intense process, but Carrie and Rose excel at making the transition seamless and rewarding. I highly recommend their services!

Turning the Corner helped me gain the tools (job search strategy, resume revisions, application & interview tips) and confidence to land the FIRST job I applied for after using their services! :) Plus, they made me feel like they really cared about me by quickly answering follow up questions through my job search process.
I used 2 services that really helped me. First, I did 3 career counseling sessions with Carrie because I was unsure if I was even in the right field. The «work personality test» confirmed that I was looking for the right jobs. It also helped me to articulate my strengths to potential future employers and to evaluate whether jobs and organizations were a good fit for me.
Then, I worked with Rose on my resume for 1 session. She showed me new/​modern resume formats and explained how to include relevant accomplishments and keywords to tailor my master resume for each job announcement. I know that the new design really showcases my talents to stand out in the few seconds that hiring managers review applications. After my session, I applied Rose’s tips to revise my master resume document, which she edited to make it even stronger.
Looking for a job made me feel emotional and vulnerable, but Carrie and Rose gave me honest feedback and concrete skills to be successful. I’m so excited for my new job! Good luck in your job search, too…
