If you are in the market for a new mattress, I highly suggest Urban Mattress. I shopped around every mattress store from Broomfield to Boulder and this was by far the best. Rich and his team are very knowledgeable and genuinely care about you. It is a local family run store so you aren’t giving your money to the big names where you are just paying for the brand name. Their products are high quality that are good for you and the environment. At least stop by here to see what they have!

My friends recommended Urban Mattress to me, because they have had such great service from them. I had amazing service from the time I walked into the store and worked with Andrew, to the moment the delivery was completed. Andrew was so helpful and knowledgeable, and the delivery guys are seriously the best in the business. I have a very narrow stairway and it’s impossible to get a queen box spring up the stairs, however, these awesome guys refused to give up and utilizing a small balcony in my home got my box spring upstairs and into the bedroom for me! Thank you so much! I LOVE my new mattress and the pillow I purchased is heavenly.

Rich and Phil and everyone else at Urban Mattress have been great! We were working on a tight budget to upgrade our mattress, so we came in over and over trying to make completely sure of what we wanted. All along we felt zero pressure to buy. After we finally made our decision we ended up wanting to do an exchange, and they were very gracious in helping us sort that out as well (and in putting up with our continued indecisiveness!). Plus after shopping around Boulder, we definitely feel we got the best value for our money here, and delivery has been painless. This will be my family’s 3^rd mattress from Urban Mattress, and we will definitely be back in the future!

Please don’t go anywhere else — these guys were the BEST. I was a little afraid that they would be more expensive than their chain-​competition but that fear ended up being completely wrong. Not only were their prices BETTER, their easy-​going/​no-​pressure attitude is what put it over the top. When you are shopping for a bed, you need to lay down and move around and sometimes it can get really awkward but not at all with these guys. Delivery was prompt and efficient, and I actually had a great time at the store picking out my new bed — which I totally love. Highly recommended.

I have been on an excruciatingly long journey to find a mattress that works for me given my complicated health presentation. I have been to Urban Mattress several times, and each time I have been met with tremendous warmth, outreach, compassion, and patience. I at no point felt any sales pressure. Just a genuine desire to help me find a sleeping solution that would meet all of my needs. Their array of mattresses is amazing. The craftsmanship is far superior to what you might find at a more mainstream mattress store. And there are several options that offer unparalleled purity. The store just feels good. Clean. Inviting. Cozy. I took a tremendous amount of time making a decision. There was no display of frustration on their part despite my repeated queries. I in the end found my perfect bed at their store. A brand of mattress which at present is only available through Urban Mattress. I could not be more relieved, more thrilled, and more grateful. The people who work at this location could not be nicer. And their level of knowledge is quite impressive. I would recommend this particular mattress to anyone in Colorado needing a new mattress. These guys have the best beds, best prices, best customer service before and after the sale. The delivery guys were amazing helping getting it installed. They are the most reputable company selling mattresses for miles. Do yourself a favor and work your mattress deal with them!

Very nice mattress store with high end choices. They have mattresses that cost 20 K plus made of horse hair and fine stuff. :) really seriously. I just had to pick up a metal frame for my very plain but comfortable king size bed and found out a lot about many amazing mattresses. The gent was very nice who I talked too but I can never see spending 20 k on a mattress. Seems silly.

My partner and I purchased a bed set from Andrew this past weekend. Everyone was so helpful and easy to work with. Great customer service as well as a speedy delivery. Out mattress had 1 cosmetic defect on it and they refunded my credit card immediately.
We checked out Denver Mattress, Mattress Firm, and various department stores. Urban Mattress had the best options and customer service by far!

Urban Mattress treated us right in the entire mattress purchase process, which included a low-​pressure conversation with the co-​owner of the store on our first visit. They also deliver mattresses for free and honor deals such as a free mattress pad if you mention that you checked into the store via Unilocal.We also got a high quality mattress for less than we would have paid at a place like the Mattress Firm. Definitely check them out!

Great in-​store experience and great communication, but the delivery experience has been sub-​optimal (and we don’t yet have the bed!). I stopped in to Urban Mattress on a Wednesday, to order a mattress for guests who were coming Friday night. The sales guy was great: not pushy, very efficient and helpful, and showed me exactly what I wanted to look at (decent guest room mattresses) with no up-​sell at all. It looked as if the delivery for Friday afternoon would be a little tight, but would work.
Then I got a phone call on Friday to let me know that the delivery that day was not possible; Urban Mattress offered a loaner (thank you!), but this seemed like a hassle, to have to be home to receive the mattress, then have it picked up and get the correct one. So I rescheduled the delivery for the following Monday and arranged to work from home. Monday morning, the delivery team called to confirm; I then got a call back to say that they had made a mistake, and the mattress was not in stock, so they’d have to reschedule the delivery again, for at least five days later (requiring another four-​hour window of someone being home). Again, they were very straightforward, polite, helpful, and offered a loaner, explained that CU move-​in is their busiest time of the year, *and* refunded the entire price of the mattress cover that I bought (again, thank you!). However this seems like a key component of running a mattress store: do you have the product in stock, and when can it be delivered… especially when someone needs to be home to receive it. Their people are great, and I would probably buy from them again, but the logistics side of the business could use some improvement.
Update: we received our mattress today and the delivery was completely smooth, and Urban Mattress included a set of sheets as a courtesy. They clearly care about their customers and just had a series of unfortunate mixups with this purchase, and I would do business with them again.

My wife and I bought a mattress from Urban Mattress back in June 2015. We had never been in the Boulder store and thought we would drive over from Longmont and start our search for a new bed. We met KEN and his knowledge of mattresses and assisting customers select the right mattress is superb. He took his time, asked many questions and showed us several options. We both were so pleased with the experience we also bought a new mattress for one of our sons along with pillows for all of us. The delivery guys were awesome, on time, clean, polite and very careful moving the new beds upstairs. They even moved a bed we were replacing from the second floor to the basement. My wife and I both agree that we sleep better and wake up feeling more rested than we have in a long time. 100% satisfied in Longmont.

Worked with Rich, the owner, who patiently showed us many options in all price ranges. We had visited several other stores including Mattress Firm, and Boulder Furniture and Mattress, I was concerned that Urban Mattress would be only high end. Contrarily, we walked out with a $ 459 student special (in the month of Aug) Lumina Spirit Luxury Firm Queen, although we might move that to our guests and upgrade to one of the Latex stuffed Dunlopillos (either 1K or 1.5K for the more deluxe model). Rich was excellent and they delivered SAME DAY which helped us out from saving another bad night on a ratty old futon.

Urband Mattress has earned a life long customer with me. My husband and I needed a new mattress and we walked into Urban Mattress after many months of shopping and online research. The guys at Urban Mattress were really knowledgable and not pushing. We didn’t purchase after first visit but after shopping around for a couple of more weeks we went back to Urban to retry the mattress we thought we liked best. Again, the guys were all very helpful and after careful consideration we purchased our mattress. The story doesn’t end there and this is what puts Urban Mattress above the rest, I loved the mattress we purchased at the showroom but I had a really hard time adjusting to it. We went back to Urban mattress and they helped me to trouble shoot the issues while assuring me that they would help me find the perfect mattress. They did not make me feel like a crazy customer, instead they seemed very concerned about me not being happy and they went above and beyond to help me find a solution which turned out to be my mattress pad. They even sent me home with a loaner to try before having me purchase it. After trying the new mattress pad I was in heaven, our new mattress is the best bed I have ever slept in. So much so it will make it difficult to travel as I will miss sleeping in my own amazing bad.
We visited Urban mattress at least 4 times over the process of our purchase, every time we were greeted by great customer service and enthusiasm for their product. Our delivery guys were equally as great as well as knowledgable about the products they were delivering. We are now and forever Urban Mattress customers.

We bought a queen sized mattress here today and had a very good experience. All salespeople were friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy, they gave us a few options and then left us to decide. We chose a mattress that was comparable to others we had seen in town and about $ 100 less than what other places were offering.
The ambience was also nice – there’s a water feature, fresh coffee, and nice lighting. It made me feel like taking a nap, which might be the point! I would definitely buy from them again! Oh, and free delivery is a nice touch!

So here is the bottom line: if you are looking for a mattress in Boulder — perhaps, like me, for your kid who is moving into their first apartment on the Hill — do not waste your time going anywhere else! This should be your first and only stop. I’ve done the legwork, and I can tell you that the showroom, the owner and staff, the pricing and the delivery arrangements are THE BEST. If you make the mistake of visiting other mattress stores, like we did, you will appreciate Urban Mattress even more. But there’s no need to. Go directly to Urban Mattress. You will not be disappointed!

Bought a king 3 summers ago. Moderate price,
Delivered exactly on time by the nicest workers.
Three years later wonderfully comfortable.
This week I accidentally broke the frame (my fault totally).
I biked to the store at 10 AM and had the new frame delivered and set up by
3 pm. Again set up by the nicest and most polite workers.
Amazing since this is their busy season.
Use them. You won’t be disappointed!

I was thrilled to find a mattress for my kids without all the junk they put on them. I will for sure go here when my husband and I need a mattress. The staff was so nice and their delivery system is amazing.
