Vermilion is a 25-​person, full-​spectrum integrated design and interactive agency. For nearly 30 years, Vermilion has been providing distinctive and effective solutions to a wide range of clients, with a particular emphasis on work for nonprofit, educational, scientific, and civic organizations. While we have obtained awards and recognition for our strategic and creative products, we are most proud of our partnerships with clients who are making this a better world. We are passionate about design that informs, clarifies, persuades, and communicates the possibilities of working together for positive change.

History

Established in 1982.

Ever since its inception, Vermilion has been deeply linked to Boulder. We’ve worked for many of the city’s businesses, becoming a part of their families and they a part of ours. We’re involved with the nonprofit community on many levels, volunteering, serving on boards, and providing probono or reduced-​rate services to many organizations. As a Business Partner with the Community Foundation, we donate a percentage of our profits to nonprofit causes.

We are privileged to work in Boulder, with its commitment to smart growth, bike paths, recycling, and a cleaner environment. Boulder is a hotbed of the natural products industries, and we’re increasingly involved with companies in that sector and with sustainability endeavors generally. We’re now 100% windpower, and we’re doing our part to lessen our footprint on the environment.
