Amazing bar food, casual atmosphere and tremendous staff. Highly recommend to my friends in Warren!

I’m not going to call this place a dive nor a hole in the wall. Food is good and bartenders are super friendly. You can always strike up a good conversation with a local like myself. Living in Philly for a couple years and having access to some of the best cheesesteaks just a couple feet from my front door, this place does a great job with there own style, and its delicious, same goes for there wings. All in all a great place to grab some food and a couple cold ones

Great dive bar. Steve is a great bartender /cook. The kitchen is clean and the food is good. If you call ahead your food and drink will be waiting for you. It’s a great place to unwind during a hectic work day.

Can’t say much about the bar as I didn’t have anything to drink but a Coke. However, the aesthetic is as nice as you could expect from a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ type building. It’s clean and seemingly well maintained, and in a positive way doesn’t have a whole lot of the tacky frills other bars have like 100 neon lights everywhere and crappy music being played unnecessarily loud. The tap beer selection was the same popular beers you’d see elsewhere with a select few additions of craft brews available in bottles(EX: «Not Your Father’s Root Beer» which I’m told is otherwise pretty hard to find lately). While I didn’t have any drinks — I did have some food. We ordered the Buffalo Wings(sauce on the side) and they were some of the best wings I’ve had. Thin layer of perfectly crispy breading outside and tender meaty insides. These are real wings too and not those tiny little ‘Buffalo Style’ wings. While reviewing the menu I was also told multiple first-hand accounts by other patrons who say the burgers here are great! Taking this review from an upper 3-star review to an exemplary 4-star review is the fact that the bartender/manager/owner? was offering out FREE food. It was a batch of simply breaded and fried cheese sticks of sorts, but just the fact that the house is doing it not as some gimmick or promotion, but for their patrons shouldn’t go unremarked. Kudos to the operators of this establishment as in one visit I went from being kinda put-off by the outward appearance to wanting to now stop in routinely. I’ll be back.

With a pretty appropriate name, this place oozes«dive bar». Great drink prices($ 4 Old Grand Dad for example). So far the food I’ve had(hush puppies, fries) are just what you’d expect – made to order straight out of the deep fryer to soak up the $ 3 Miller Lites you’ve been throwing back all night. There’s a coin-op pool table and a dart board. What more could you ask for? Well okay, now that you ask, there are a few things I could ask for. Being in my late 20s, it would be nice to see a bit more of my peers at this place, but it’s really no big deal, everyone here I’ve ever met is delightful. From the bartenders to the one Mexican couple that bought me and my friend shots after we drunkenly tried to show off our horrible Spanish we learned in high school. Also they sell by the bottle after liquor stores close for very fair prices if you’re having late night guests and you’re in a pinch(sixer of Yuengling for $ 10, not too shabby). Some may describe the space as tight, but I’d rather use cozy. Lack of ambiance? Nah, more like«no frills».

Great dive bar great food and good prices. Their wings are killer and so are their burgers. It’s a dive don’t pay attention to ppl who talk about ambience. Good food is good food and this place is where it’s at.

Great dive bar in town. Pool table and juke box. Both times I went, it was packed. Older crowd. Cool old man bartender(owner?) A friend of mine swears by the burgers, but this place is too sketch for me to eat the food lol.

My friend’s response to the question«where can I get something good in Bound Brook?» led me to the Number One Bar and Grill. Now I know why they call him the Mayor! The Number One did not disappoint. I ordered a well done burger with well done bacon and it was terrific. The burger seemed like it was good quality meat, it was cooked well, and it was flavorful! The fries that came with it were the crinkle cut type and were good(who messes up fries?).Every pint of Bass I ordered came in a fresh chilled pint glass– very nice touch! both bartender and the patrons were friendly and social. A good time was had by all!

Very popular local dive bar. U shaped bar with about twenty stools facing an open kitchen. Pool table, couple of games, two flat screens. Stopped in for lunch a couple of days after Sandy. Got the last open seat. Pork roll sandwich was just OK. Service was fast and friendly. I think that they have five or maybe six taps. I had a Bass. Saw taps for Stella, Rolling Rock, Bud Light.

Looks can be deceiving. That is the best way to describe Number One Bar and Grille. I am not a fan of dive bars, but this has become one my favorite bars to grab a bite and a beer in the Bridgewater area. Stella Artois can be found on tap and the bar pizza can hold it’s own against Stan Chitch’s. However, what sealed the deal for me was going in on a Friday night to hear French electronic music and indie pop playing on the bar’s TouchTunes jukebox.
