Legacy Dermatology, the office of Dr. Jared R. Heaton specializes in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, MOHS surgery, mole exam and removal, acne, warts, skin diseases, spider vein treatment, CO2 laser skin resurfacing as well as many other cosmetic skin procedures.

Business Owner

Jared Heaton is an attentive and thorough dermatologist, serving his patients in Bountiful, UT. Dr. Heaton is Board-​certified in dermatology, and he is currently a member of the American Society of MOHs Surgeons.

Dr. Heaton prides himself in serving all patient populations, treating all areas of dermatology from children through retirement age. He places a strong emphasis on catering specifically to the retirement population in his community, as skin cancer is more prevalent in this age group. Dr. Heaton performs dermatology consultations, annual skin screenings, Mohs surgery, wart freezing, and laser hair removal. He welcomes patients to his practice who are experiencing psoriasis, eczema, rash, varicose veins, and skin cancer, among others.

Dr. Heaton earned undergraduate degree in International Relations with a minor in Asian Studies from Brigham Young University (BYU). His medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM). He completed both his internship and
