Ordered drinks from the menu only to have the waitress say they were out of two different liquors. Being that the Bears fans were coming into town I thought they would have stocked up. Otherwise food isn’t half bad. Large portions

Eh. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go here, nor would I say no to a friend who insisted we did. They were kind to me and my kids, and because it’s spacious and a little loud would probably do well with families in general.

The people here are nice and the bar is great to go grab a few drinks at, but the food is really nothing I want to pay for. Not bad, but nothing that makes me want to come back again. I thought it might be different after awhile so we tried it again and felt the same.

Tried, and retried the Warehouse.. then tried and retried again. Am I ordering all the wrong entrees, or is the chef really this bad? First trip– lobster ravioli. The pasta wasn’t al dente, it was raw. The crab was… catfood? Perhaps the crab from a can. The lobster was cold in the center. The sauce was broken. When I told the waitress, she advised me there is a new chef, and he probably doesn’t know how to make it. Great, my dish was him«experimenting». My sisters dish was wrong too, it wasn’t what she ordered at all. We were not comp’d for the mistake, but offered free desert. Fine. Oh! Not a free desert each. One to share. Horrible service. Second trip– I ordered the vegetarian stuffed peppers. Worst dish I have ever tried to eat. HANDSDOWN! the pepper was not cooked thoroughly, the risotto was like eating pebbles, the peas and carrots in the risotto were frozen. That isn’t even the worst part, the dizzle. what in the heck is it! I didn’t not finish, and was not offered a replacement when I informed the waitstaff. Garden burger the time after… still frozen in the center. Last time, and final time. Over cooked steak. On the last visit I ordered a Mojito. But they didn’t have mint. There is a reason the parking lot is nearly empty half the time, during meal times.

I’ve been waiting to make my first visit here for a while, so my wife and I stopped in today while out shopping. Our first impression was that the food prices were a bit higher than they needed to be. A menu of lunch items would have been nice. Then, our server seemed like she couldn’t get away from us and back to the kitchen fast enough. It took 3 visits to our table to finally get our order completed. The only small talk she offered was at the end of the meal when she asked how my burger was and said it was her favorite(South of the border burger). She wouldn’t engage my wife for the life of her. She walked by, dropped the bill off and walked away without saying a word. Based on service alone, I wouldn’t step foot in here again. But the food is definitely worth another chance, but maybe not for a while.

1÷18÷14 Right away there was a confusion w our table. Waitress told hostess I have a table ready for them & hostess ignoring her w an ignorant mannerism. There were 6 of us. Got to our table at 6:40. Got our drinks & ordered. Over an hour later 5 meals come and the easiest order, chicken tenders still took another 5 mins to get. To have them so hard that the chicken was bad. You could bang them against the plate for a noise maker. Come on… how do you mess up chicken tenders? Meal 2– Sirloin-$ 16-. Horrible cut and so overdone that it was dried out — like the tenders. Meal 3 Grilled BBQ Chicken $ 15-. The mash potatoes were disgusting and the green beans were uncooked and had no flavor. Everyone tried one, took a bite & put it down. It was quite awful. I’m surprised the waitress didn’t ask about untouched potatoes and green beans, full on a plate, when taking it away. Meal 4 Crab Feta Melt $ 11– WHERE’s The Feta? I asked before ordering – real crab or imitation. She said real. Debatable. Very fishy, like it was old. I was very, very sick when I got home & have the worse stomach cramping as I write. Meal 5 Buffalo Chicken Wrap $ 8– No buffalo sauce on it. WTH? Had to ask for a side of buffalo sauce. Meal 6– Three little pigs $ 8– Only thing that someone said was good. But wait… the pub chips were way overcooked to a burnt brown. Untouched and plate returned full. Our waitress was nice to say the least. Out by 8pm So to sum it up. Waiting over an hour for food… Way overpriced for meal received… poor food quality, extremely loud atmosphere… Will never go back. For that bill it was the most disappointing Birthday dinner ever. Sick to my stomach.

Been a long time since I’ve been here. Was hoping for improved service and food. Well, I have to say it was a huge step in the right direction. Food was much better this time around and the waitress was good. Overall, they’ve earned my business back.

First time here. Was kinda wondering what i was in for when I pulled up and the place was empty. And after reading all the previous reviews. All I’m saying is to not judge a place solely in other people’s reviews. Get out there and experience the place. I had the Philly Cheese Steak($ 8.00) with Sweet Potato Fries for an extra $ 2.00. It was in a ciabatta bun with lots of onions and peppers and an amazing amount of cheese. The cheese tasted like it was mozzarella cheese that belonged on an amazing pizza. The Sweet Potato Fries seemed like they were pre made and not made in house. But they were good.(Picture attached of the sandwich). Excellent service at the bar. The Bartender/Waitress knows how to make some good drinks. If you are wanting to use the WI-FI, most of the people working there didn’t know the password. One person did.(It’s 1234)

I have been here a handful of times. The food is good. The service is OK. My most recent trip was this past week and my experience was so much better this go around. Our waitress actually knew what she was doing. The last time I was here they«forgot» they had a table. I always get the avocado salsa with the pita chips. Yum!

I’d never visited prior to the recent ownership change. Ever since, however, I’ve been several times and I will continue to go back. The service is always some of the best in the area. During our last visit I can say that the service was the best that I can ever remember from anywhere I’ve ever been. The food exceeds my expectations every time. Their soups are warm and delicious, entrees are flavorful and plentiful, sides are abundant in choice, and desserts are a perfect end to a great meal. I’ve never been anywhere close to disappointed in a meal or the price paid for a meal at the Warehouse.

In a word? Meh. The service was good, perhaps because we knew half the staff working there. But the food was, in short, unmemorable. The deli sandwich consisted of two thin slices of meat on a dry bun with chopped onions and other assorted vegetables. The prime rib dip lacked au jus. The soup was very good. The ultimate salad bar was far from it. I’m glad they lowered the prices, and I appreciated the decent service compared to previous management, but this place unfortunately still won’t make my regular rotation of restaurants in the area.

Money Quote: food is best in the area, by a long shot. Waitress was poor, to the point of ruining an otherwise great experience. Longer version: Great atmosphere, not too loud nor too quiet, yet plenty of people there. Newly refurbished interior and exterior makes the place look stylish. Menu is extensive. Plenty for the not-so-adventurous, but several items for those who want to range around a bit or have something unusual. My wife had a salmon salad that was excellent. Avocado, onion both great and a ranch that was memorably good. I had a crab cake melt w/feta that was excellent as well. Bread was was perfect, seasoning was perfectly as it was both tasty but let the fish and feta be the main taste. The waitress Amber came across as playful/sassy in the first minute. Fine, but we’re 20 years older, we’re wanting to enjoy time together, blah blah blah. So we’re thinking she’d pick up on a cool vibe to that effect. No deal. She seems to ratchet up the sassiness to downright bitchiness. Her times were fine, if a hair south of average. Aside from that, I asked for Tabasco, she brings back an ounce or two of buffalo sauce with apologies on not having any hotsauce. Whatever, no big deal. But then she throws an extra dollar on the bill for the ounce of buffalo sauce. Grrrrr. Host greeted fine, bartender said goodbye, so maybe it was just her. Other reviews here seem to agree it’s an on-going issue. My wife yells from the other room«it wasn’t like she was terrible, but with great food in a lousy area, we’re all really pulling for this place. And the service seems to detract rather than add.» Yep, well put. We’ll be back, but we’ll likely be sensitive to whether the waitstaff can do graceful and helpful rather than off-putting and immature.

So I intentionally avoided this place due to the reviews, but when I heard that they revamped and cheapened the menu in the beginning of May, I wanted to check it out. My friend had been once before the re-model and said it was ‘meh’ so she wanted to give it another chance too. Although I went in with a clear and open mind, I have to say I was less than impressed. To start, the martinis were the highlight of our experience. They have a really great drinks menu with bahama mamas, margaritas and also assorted drinks. Too bad whenever we asked our bartender what was in certain drinks, she just said I don’t know. My friend ended up looking some of the drinks up on her phone and went with a Bikini Martini. It had pineapple, coconut rum and grenadine. Hers was by far the winner with all of its fruity flavors. I got the Rum Chata Chocolate Kiss martini, which didn’t need any description. Love me some Rum Chata! Mine was really good too and I was bummed when it was done. Martinis aren’t listed with prices so I stopped myself from ordering more than 1. Come to find out they were $ 8. Drinks = winning; however my tip to management would be either to list all of the ingredients on the menu or give the wait staff a little cheat sheet with what’s in it. There really is no excuse to have such a extensive drink list and uneducated staff that can’t promote them. I ordered the philly steak grilled cheese with fries. I didn’t think $ 8 was bad, however I wasn’t a huge fan of it. There were way too many onions and peppers and it ended up making it completely soggy and unable to be picked up. I ended up taking off most of the onions and peppers and having to cut the sandwich up with my fork and knife which isn’t really the way I enjoy my sandwiches. If I ordered it again, I would most likely order it without the peppers and onions and just the meat and cheese. Our service was the worst part and the biggest disappointment. The place wasn’t overly packed, but we only saw our waitress a few times. She didn’t even come by to check on us after the food was delivered and we ended up having to flag her down for my friend to get some ranch. My friend commented that she had the same issue when she was there last time. Service = #1 to me, so I most likely wouldn’t come back if this is the way they conduct business.

This was our first and last time here. I had not heard any good reviews from friends, but my husband wanted to give it a try. I had the calzone, because I thought that was easy enough to get right. I was wrong. It was very yeasty tasting, otherwise flavorless. My husband had the burger, ordered medium rare. It was well done and very compacted. Menu said fresh cut fries, however, not so fresh. Our server«Sam» was GREAT, which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

The food is great. The ambiance is great. And the service is getting better with each trip. As soon as you walk in, your nose is immediately greeted with this rich, smokey(in a good way, not the 2 pack a day habit you’re trying to quit way) aroma of a wood stove. The restaurant has just the right amount of lighting, and is inviting. My first trip in was a little frustrating, due to a novice waiter, and his forgetfulness resulting in our orders not being placed until 35 minutes after he originally took them. He did comp one of my drinks for the mistake though. Since then, the restaurant has completely redeemed itself. The wait staff is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and there has yet to be a dish that I have been disappointed in. In my last 2 visits, I have ordered the BBQ Cornish hen, and the fish and chips. Both were incredible. The servings are beyond enough, and I can usually stretch a second and on one occasion, third meal out of the left-overs. There’s also plenty of beer on tap, and a great selection of many that you are probably not familiar with.(I’m just not a miller or bud light fan with a good meal, but they have it if your’e so inclined.) Overall, this place is excellent. It definitely brings a modern and classy spin on a town that is in desperate need of some originality in food selection.

We have given this place more than a dozen attempts to knock our socks off; now I feel I need to remove my prior reviews and share my frustration. The food is decent, not fantastic. Phone orders have been somewhat cumbersome, often wrong. Each time we’ve placed a phone order, we’ve had to repeat our phone number and/or address a few times before the person taking the order gets it right. Often, that person doesn’t even know what’s offered on the menu, so it is frustrating to order(eg, Me: ‘we’d like the filet.’ Response: ‘uh, is that a steak?’). More than once, after answering them that my order was complete, they have so quickly said thanks and hung up that I didn’t even have a chance to ask for the total and/or give my credit card info. One time, the person taking the order called me back three times, as she remembered bit and pieces of info she didn’t obtain from me. It is clear that no one receives any training. When the order is delivered, the same lack of training is evident: can’t find our house, don’t bring pens to sign, don’t know what food they have with them and/or whether it belongs to us or the other delivery on their route. Eating in, was better when the place opened, don’t know what happened, not quite as magical the last few times. Décor is nice. Not what I expect from a culinary juggernaut. I really, really want to like this place. But, lately, I just wish they’d bring back the Chug a Mug.

Overall was a very good experience. We had the Italian Wedding soup and it was amazing! For dinner we had sandwiches, The Philly cheese steak and the regular chicken wrap were average nothing special. The buffalo chicken wrap however was not good at all, made us feeling a little sick to our stomachs. Then we had the desert. We had the pineapple rum bread pudding. This was great! So much flavor and the ice cream on top just made it even better. The atmosphere was a lot better than I expected. From the outside looks can be deceiving. Inside they did a very nice job. Very comfortable and not too crowded. All in all was a good trip. Next time I think we’ll shy away from the sandwiches and try the main courses instead.

The atmosphere was nice, sort of sports bar, upscale restaurant mix. You can sit by all the TV’s by the bar or go into the more quiet areas to enjoy your meal. Our waitress was also very nice and polite. That’s the only good I can say about this place. The food was pretty bad. The pic I attached shows our calamari appetizer which is about a ¼ of the amount you get when you go to other restaurants. Unfortunately you still have to pay full price for it. We also got pretzel twists which was okay. We were told by the waitress the pizza is one of the things they are known for. So we ordered a deep dish with peperoni. It took a good 45minutes to an hour to arrive which I guess is normal for deep dish. The pizza was definitely one of the worst I’ve had. The sauce was extra sweet for a pizza sauce and the crust was plywood. I had to ask for a steak knife to cut through it and still had issues. After my second piece my jaw started getting sore. If I wasn’t so hungry at the time I would have ordered something else. Next time you’re in Bourbonnais pass on this one.

We went back for the second time. Hubby ordered the same, got what he ordered :). I ordered the chicken limone. It was amazing. I wasn’t crazy about the mashed potatoes, but that is a personal preference. They serve the ones with peels in them. I’m not a fan of that. They had an interesting flavor, I couldn’t pin down, but it made me think of thanksgiving. Worth trying if the peels aren’t a deal breaker for you. I’ll just have the baked potato from now on. Our waitress this time? She was awesome. The 2 yo’s food was too hot, so she stuck it in the freezer for a minute to cool it down and brought it back. She noticed all the 4 yo wanted to eat was the bread stick that came with the spaghetti, so she brought her an extra one. They were out of kids cups, so she brought small plastic ones, and a large glass of chocolate milk, since we didn’t want to give them full cups at one time in case of spills. Other little touches, that just made our meal even more enjoyable. Oh, I almost forgot, hubs plate came a few seconds after ours. The reason for the delay? The kitchen had prepared the wrong shrimp, but she caught the mistake. We wouldn’t have known if she hadn’t explained the slight delay. I’m falling in love with this restaurant. Wish I could eat here every day.
