Hampton Inn Concord/Bow

Stayed here for a couple of days. Best part: chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon at the front desk. Worst part: the breakfast. «Scrambled» eggs were rubbery, small selection of breads, coffee was ok. they did have bananas and apples that were not too ripe, so that was good. Room was clean and relatively up to date. another plus was the abundance of 3 prong outlets and USB outlets.

Not a bad hotel. A little dated for a Hampton Inn. Since I got in late I ate at the Asian restaurant across the street for convenience, not a good idea. It was not good. I will have to say the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Shout out to Melissa. Thanks for all your help with my room.

I have never stayed at a Hampton this run down. My water was not hot this morning and the shower curtain did not stay closed. The hall has an unpleasant odor and noise can be heard from the herd of elephants stomping around upstairs.
The plus side is that they have soup and cookies every night and breakfast in the morning.

Not up to par with every other Hampton I’ve stayed at. The bathroom was tiny. The Mini fridge did not work. Hampton beds are usually top notch; This bed felt like a 20 year old box spring mattress and no matter what we did we could not get the sheets to stay on. I was waking up every 30 minutes to adjust the sheets and they would simply slide right off as soon as I got back in. We were literally sleeping on the bare mattress! I’ve stayed at much cheaper motels and never had this problem.
Went to work feeling cranky and exhausted the next day. Whole point of the getaway was to get a decent nights sleep with my girlfriend. This did not happen. I would have been better off sleeping on the carpet.

Convenient to my meeting location the next day and right off the highway with a gas station across the street. As Hampton Inns go, this one was a little run down but clean. The room itself is quiet but I could hear the doors on nearby rooms open/​close but I am a heavy sleeper so it really didn’t bother me. Breakfast was complimentary and was a typical continental type set up. Coffee was good. I booked off the Hilton website and paid $ 124 plus tax.

This is by far THE WORST hotel. If I could give it no stars I would! As soon as we walked into the hotel, we noticed an unpleasant smell. We brought our kids, and got them their own room. First, the hallways stink! We got to our kid’s room and it was supposed to be non-​smoking, but it smelled like someone smoked in there, and it was dirty. We got them a different room, which was a little better. Our room… dear Lord! There was trash on our bed, it was dirty… really dirty. I took the face cloths and put soap and water in them and washed the whole room down. OMG THE GRIME, DIRT, AND STAINS I WASHED OFF ARE DISGUSTING AND OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN. We asked for a new duvet cover because there had been trash on the first one. We had to put it on ourselves. The duvet is too small for the king sized bed, so we asked for a king sized duvet. Again, same small size. It only fits over the top, not the sides, as if it’s for a queen or double bed, so it’s uncomfortable. Furniture is very old and looks like they got it from a yard sale. The bathroom would be ok if it had more than one light. There is only one filtered fluorescent light over the sink, but no light over the shower, so it’s dark on that side of the bathroom and could potentially be dangerous. Also, there is an actual STICKY NOTE stuck to the headboard saying the sheets are clean. REALLY? I think when you have to put a sticky note assuring guests their sheets are clean that’s pretty bad! The only good thing I can say about this place is that the guy behind the counter (Tim) is really nice, and actually told us they get a lot of complaints about the cleanliness of the hotel. There is also no area where you can purchase food, drinks, candy, etc. so if you don’t bring food in, you go hungry. Keep in mind, you don’t get a refrigerator unless it’s already in your room, or you have to ASK FOR ONE when you call ahead and make reservations. Only staying here tonight because it’s 1:00 a.m. and we have kids, and a long day tomorrow. We’re leaving one night early just to get out of here, and get into a Hilton Garden Inn. DO NOT STAY HERE. Get a tent, a camper, sleep in your car, just do not pay for a night’s stay here. If you choose to stay, BRING WIPES to wash everything down. Also, this bed is really hard. Like Fred Flintstone hard. Weird, cause usually beds in hotels like these are like hammocks. This one’s a rock. I took pics of the place because I want evidence in case we pick up some kind of disease.

My bf and I stayed here for the night. The room we booked didn’t come with a microwave or fridge. A short time after arriving at our room, there was a knock at our door. A microwave and mini fridge were being brought for our use. That’s great customer service.
Now as for the room, it was large, and clean. Nice place to hang out.

My family has been giving this hotel location business for many years. In the previous years we were always satisfied. I think the staff has changed, because we received horrible customer service.
My grandmother had called early in the day to make sure we could use the coupon provided in the local paper. When we got there the front desk staff was rude, inconsiderate, and un-​accommodating. The man at the front desk refused to accept the coupon and when we asked to speak to the manager he pretended to go to the back office and speak to the manager. We were able to hear him laughing with a co-​worker about lying to us. He came back and flat out told us they were not going to accept coupons.
This man was un-​professional and disrespectful. It is a shame, because this was our go to place, but until they change the staff we are not going to return.

The beds are old, hard, and very uncomfortable. I won’t be staying here again.

I’d stay here again! Man, the rooms were quiet. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I asked for a fan for my room and it was waiting for me when I arrived. Further away from downtown than I realized, but not horribly out of the way. Neutrogena toiletries are provided. Towels were wonderfully soft. Parts of the property are showing her age, and the bacon in the breakfast buffet tasted horrible and cheap… but those are two small things in the overall scheme. All in all, a really good experience.

As Hampton Inns go, this property stands out on the exceptional side. The staff were outstanding and very pleasant. The hotel itself was nice and honestly in much better shape then many of the Hampton Inns I have stayed at before.
As a general rule I never like eating at these type of hotel buffets but this one was as good as any. Frankly, it was at least as good as the Hilton I stayed in a couple of days later.
I definitely would recommend this Hampton Inn if you are passing through the Concord area.

As Hilton Honors Members, we try to stay exclusively in Hilton brand hotels. With every visit to Concord NH, I have alway been pleased with the front desk staff and their overwhelming customer service. We look forward to staying at this hotel again in the near future!!!

Okay. A bit dated. No wall mounted thermostat. 10 minutes from mall and lots of restaurants.

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns. This one is mediocre at best, and on the pricey side for what it is.
Room was dated, weathered and smoky. Carpet worn and dingy.
Breakfast had no hard boiled eggs. There was no breakfast Togo bags on the front desk.

Stayed for one night in September. Nice clean room, good breakfast. A little bit of cigarette smell (used to be a smoking room, I bet, but they did a decent job of deodorizing). Filled out their post-​stay survey and the manager contacted me by email to make sure we were happy. Great customer service!

Pretty basic Hampton Inn. You can tell the building is starting to show its age but all in all it was an experience consistent with most other Hampton Inns.

I like the Hampton Inn Suites for a couple of reasons. First of all, the staff is great. They are super nice, and they greet me by name all of the time. Granted, I have lived here for the past month for business, but at any rate, they have been great. They even gave me an upgraded two room suite for very little extra.
Now, the building is aging a little bit. It is well maintained, but you can tell that it’s been around for a bit.
They serve a hot breakfast every morning, serve fresh baked cookies at night, and many times have hot soup at the front counter. They have an indoor, heated pool, as well as a small exercise room with machines and a tv.
Admittedly, I continue to stay here because I earn a ton of Hilton Honors points for it. Of course, if it actually sucked, I would leave, but it’s a good deal all around.

Security. Another guest assigned adjacent to us had several questionable ‘visitors’ of the opposite sex over, all throughout the night. This neighbor caused loud noises and slammed their door all night and evening the 2 nights we were there. We complained. Upon discovering it was us who complained, said guest then physically attacked my wife in the hallway. We had 2 young children accompany us during our stay. Very frightening to say the least. Security was lacking, the front desk was slow to respond properly. I called the police personally. Altogether highly disturbing.

Gotcher basic Standard Issue Hampton Inn here. Reasonably well maintained, showing some signs of aging. Pretty friendly staff.
Convenient to Concord, Manchester so I’ve stayed here a few times when I’m working in the area. I like to go walking at night when I’m out of town and there ain’t much to walk to or around here.
My wife was kind enough to send me videos of assorted news reports on cleanliness in hotels and hidden camera video of cleaning crews. Ugh. Thanks. Traveling for business is enough fun without that stuff to worry about.
Pointers gleaned from these videos (since I can’t just stand in the middle of the room and yell Eww!)
1. Don’t use the in-​room glasses, EVER!
2. Buy some disinfecting wipes for your road kit and hit the remote, phone and other high contact areas.
3. Yank that bedspread off the bed and BURN IT! or at least throw it in a corner out of the way.
