A wonderful and friendly team of movers. It was a pleasure using them. They were very thorough and careful with my stuff. I’m subtracting one star for a few dings and dents they caused. Otherwise, they are careful with your stuff, patient enough to gather up your knick knacks, and straightforward with their pricing.

I had the pleasure of booking Jacob’s moving company this weekend. I was able to book him in a short notice, he had the best prices after receiving estimates from 2 other companies on Unilocal.Jacob responded very quickly compared to other moving companies, which helped me with my final decision on booking them. Jacob and company were very thorough, professional and fast. They moved my entire 3bedroom town home into my new condo within 3 hours which even included the disassemble and reassemble of the queen bed frame. They were very cautious of my fragile belongings and nothing was broken or missing. I hope I never have to use them again b/​c I hate moving however if for any reason I decide to move anytime in the near future or need to recommend movers it definitely will be this moving company!
I was very pleased and I left a small tip for each mover to show my appreciation. Thanks guys, you made my moving experience 100x better than usual!

I hired OSSL to move, store (in their facility), and move my property again. Being as though I paid them almost $ 1k, I trusted that my property would be safe and respected. I was content with my moving process until a lot of my furniture was missing, damaged, or destroyed. I kept constant communication with Jacob, the owner in hopes that my property would be fixed. After five weeks of no progress on fixing my damaged property, I filed an insurance claim against his insurance company, Nationwide. I was told by his insurer that my property is NOT covered by them, even though he assured me before we started this process that it would be. I’ll revisit my review to update on any progress!

These guys are awesome! They were able to schedule my move in a very short period of time and were able to do it in a fast, professional, and courteous manner. I will continue to refer them and use them for all of my moves!

We had the pleasure of using OSSL this weekend for our move and I am so glad that we found them. Jacob was very responsive when I initially contacted him for a quote and we quickly scheduled a move date. On moving day, the crew arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule, were courteous, professional and kept a steady pace of work. Our move was completed an hour ahead of schedule. This is a growing company and I sincerely want to see them thrive and grow in leaps and bounds as this is truly a great team of people. I’m not use to writing reviews but I was so satisfied with the service that was provided, I feel that I should say something.
I was looking for a moving company that wasn’t going to quote me at 800 bucks before they even stepped foot in the door. Searching through Unilocal I came across Ossl moving. I was in a pinch for time and wasn’t satisfied speaking to the larger companies. Ossl came through with the best quote, they were on time, professional, and ready to work. I was pleased with the crew that came to my apartment. They worked fast, smart, we very knowable of then moving process. They all hard great personalities and were very easy to work with.
The next time I have to move they will be the first call i make. You won’t be disappointed if or when you make Ossl moving the next company to get you into your next home.

PLEASE BEWARE!!! I scheduled my move for the end of June and had to cancel due to issues with closing on my house. I reached back out to Jacob to reschedule and was told he was not available. He collected a truck fee from me to reserve my move and when I requested it be reimbursed, he told me it was non-​refundable. Not once while I was booking my move did he tell me that the truck fee would be non-​refundable. Additionally the laws state that a business can not keep a customers deposit because they label it non-​refundable if they did not complete the services. My move never took place so he is not entitled to keep my deposit. Please do not use this moving company. A real stand up company or person would have done the right thing and just refunded me my deposit.

I did my research and I did my math and, for my first move using a moving company, the decision was well worth it. I was quoted a reasonable price for a one bedroom apartment move for four hours. During the move, I realized I accumulated way more furniture than I thought (and food that I wanted to keep) but they were more than accommodating. They were timely, courteous, patient, understanding, generous and fast. They didn’t take any breaks — smoking or non-​smoking — or ask for anything out of the ordinary (Gatorade, snacks, etc. — I wouldn’t expect anyone to do that anyhow but these days you never know…). I would definitely recommend them.

Could not have ask for a better moving experience. Jacob and his team were top notch professionals. They worked hard to make sure that everything was moved and had no damage. I was more than happy to spring for lunch and bottle water for them. I don’t plan to move again anytime soon but if I do, they will be the only call I make.

OSSL are fantastic. Jacob was very accommodating and it was worth every penny. I hope I don’t have to move anytime soon, but if I do OSSL will be the moving service for me.

This was my first time using a moving company, and it was the best decision I’ve made. Jacob and his team arrived early and moved quickly. They broke down items that could be damaged during the commute and quickly assembled them once they arrived at my house. I was extremely pleased that move was virtually painless!

Let’s start by saying I can not recommend Jacob & OSSL Moving & Storage ENOUGH — fantastic customer service! I found them based on a tip from my new roommate — word of mouth is key, folks! After reading my furniture inventory, Jacob provided me a solid flat rate to move my one-​bedroom apartment (contingent on me packing all my boxes beforehand).
He & his two employees arrived a few minutes early on moving day and went to work! Easily & quickly moved all my stuff into the truck before heading to my new place (Con — since they had three people in the truck, I had to take an Über to my apartment to meet them). At the new apartment, they swiftly moved everything in & even assembled my bed.
The BIGGEST praise I can give is this: unfortunately, my couch wouldn’t fit in the new apartment and my new apartment complex was not being helpful in letting me store it in the basement until I could find a seller. Hearing the stress in my voice on the phone, Jacob offered to store it in his warehouse until I found a seller. Not only that, he sent me a short video clip of it to help me sell it. Not only THAT — he delivered it to the seller! What a God-​send & a gem!
Get to reserving their services quickly — because of my word of mouth, they’re filling up quickly! Thanks again Jacob for everything!

Jacob was very accommodating with my schedule and the crew did a great job efficiently moving my stuff. The pricing was very reasonable – I was considering renting a truck and getting loading/​unloading help but this was more cost effective.

Jake, C and Andrew did a great job moving us. They arrived early and ready to go with all of their equipment. They were extremely friendly and a huge pleasure to work with. They finished moving our one bedroom from arlington, va to SE washington in around 3 hours. That would have taken my girlfriend and I about three-​times as long. I will certainly recommend OSSL to all of my friends and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

We had to move apartment contents for two people to a new apartment about ½ mile away. OSSL was responsive and easy to schedule by email. Movers showed up on time, were very courteous and professional. Completed the move in about 3 hours. Everything went well and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use these guys again. Great job!

These guys were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. My move went much quicker with their help and the price was very reasonable for the service I received. Strongly recommend.

Jacob and team did an excellent job of moving me on Feb 21^st. Even though there was inclement weather, they were able to make our move easy. They even helped to assemble some of our extra furniture. This is the second time that I have used Jacob and I will definitely use him next time as well.

Jake, Godfrey, and Bri were great! They showed up ten minutes early and were incredibly efficient with the move. In 4.5 hours, they had moved all of my stuff to the new apartment AND helped me make a pit stop at my boyfriend’s house to do a couch-​swap. When there was a mix-​up with the scheduling at my new apartment and we had to share the loading dock /​service elevator, OSSL took it in stride and, despite the hold up, still managed to quickly move all of my things. Without asking, they volunteered to take apart and reassemble my bed before and after the move too.
Overall, they were so accommodating and kind the entire time. I’ve done many moves before and it’s always been stressful, but because of OSSL, this one was pretty painless!
Plus, I had done quite a bit of research on other moving companies’ rates, and OSSL had the best rate with no strings attached. Many companies charge for miles driven, for example, but OSSL only charges by the hour. It was nice not to worry about all the «extra» costs that I was racking up during the move.
I highly recommend OSSL and would surely use them again!

OSSL was great for moving my 2bdrm apt. The guys were on time, patient and efficient. They were also quite funny and made the experience fun! I would recommend them and I will use them again!
