Attorney Schultz opened his own law office in September 2015, however, he has been actively litigating cases in both the public and private sector since 2006.

Passionate and aggressive litigation has been a hallmark of Barrett’s legal career. For over 9 years, he has diligently represented clients in felony and misdemeanor cases including charges of DUI/​DWI, property crime (theft, forgery, bribery, fraud, burglary, trespass, robbery) assault & battery, drug possession, distribution, and manufacture, child pornography possession and distribution, sex offenses, gaming violations, hunting violations, traffic matters, and MVA hearings. In addition, Barrett has experience litigating civil matters including personal injury tort and workers’ compensation claims for people injured in accidents or at work.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland, Barrett not only knows the people and courts in the area but also understands the issues that his clients must manage including professional certifications and licensure, commercial driver’s licenses, security clearances, and co-​occurring domestic relations cases.
