Seabourn Cove

OK i want to start by saying the property is awesome well maintained and beautiful and clean. Pool area is immaculate with grilling and TV area. Lived here for three years really cannot say one bad thing. The staff is amazing if you call they answer any questions you may have.
The best part is the maintenance: Gabe who is in charge of maintenance for the property is awesome. If you have aproblem with anything in or outside the unit sometimes it only takes minutes for him to arrive at your front door. I will say I have never had someone and his crew be so on top of everything and your needs from the start of your lease till the end. This place is like living in a well maintained resort, and honestly its because of the maintenance team. GABE always on top of the maintenance always seeing him and the team doing new things everyday to keep this property up too the luxury standards it should always hold.

I lived in Seabourn Cove for 2 years and enjoyed it. It was peaceful and I didnt have to be concerned with a large complex full of rowdy people. Mangement is key to enjoying your complex and management has been attentive. The maintenance team is always courteous and quick to handle any concerns. I had relocated from Atlanta and only moved because I am now livinh on the West Coast. So I would recommend this community. There is lots of storage and having personal garages to go into the units is defintely a plus!

I have been here 4 years this place is so poorly run. All day and night nonstop party’s at the pool area college kids screaming and yelling till 12 at night.
The management does nothing to control the noise and they simply don’t care.

I have lived at Seabourn Cove for 15 months and really like everything about the place. The management staff are always very helpful and the maintenance staff are excellent. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is also an Eco walkway running behind the property where you can walk your dog or just enjoy a walk even in the evening. One of my favorite things is that directly behind the complex is a 54 acre natural scrub area with nice sandy paths and very nice pine trees. I hope to renew for another year.

Been here for over a year everything has been stress-​free except for the gates which are open more then closed. My only other complaint is not enough guest parking. If I have to pay $ 55 a month for parking my guests should be able to find a spot.

I love living in Seabourne Cove! The staff is very helpful and Maintence responds immediately to any requests! It’s peaceful and the pool is so relaxing!

I relocated from NYC 5 years ago and for my first 3 years I moved every year
until I found this community. I didn’t need to look further after meeting the management staff. Yes, all the amenities are amazingly new and impeccably maintained by an all star maintenance team. I’ll stay here as long as the team stays!
Btw I was in the industry of property management in NYC. I know what it takes to provide the kind of service the Team at Seabourncove BoyntonBeach does day in and out.

I have lived in the SBC since the pre-​construction phases back in 2013! We absolutely love our town home, and consider it our true home. The maintenance staff is top notch… Gabe and Jaime always take care of us and our home like it was our own!!! Even more of a shout out, we just re-​signed our lease for another 15 months. #SBC4L!!!

I wanted to wait a while before I wrote a review so I was able to post an honest one. I have been living here for almost a year now. I have no complaints. Our townhouse is beautiful and a decent size. All our neighbors are pretty nice… they’re the kind of neighbors that always say hi.
Everything is pretty clean. We have two HUGE grills by the pool that we use constantly. They are always clean and ready to use. The pools are very well kept as well.
One of my favorite things is the business center. I go there weekly to write papers for school and I’m able to print everything I need and study in peace.
The girls at the front office are very nice and always helpful when I need something. Our bathroom door was not closing properly and out dishwasher wasn’t draining. I called on a Sunday and they were fixed by Monday afternoon.
Definitely renewing our lease.

Comfortable, safe community with well maintained grounds and responsive management. No place is perfect but you certainly can’t beat the location … Minutes from the beach and downtown Delray! We have been happy with our experience!

First of all, I feel bad for the couple of «one-​stars» that I’ve seen on this page. Clearly some people are just unhappy or unrealistic. Here is my review, and I’m more than qualified to give one on this particular subject :) And no. . I don’t work there. One of my friends lived here and I spent some time at the pool a couple of times, and then decided to move here myself. I’m so happy I did!
First of all. .. . I ride my bike to downtown Delray every weekend!
In comparison to the other rentals in the area, from Boynton — Boca, Seabourn Cove blows them away on every level. The service and friendliness of the entire staff, the manager and leasing staff as well as the maintenance personnel — is unbelievable. I never walk past any of them without a smile and friendly «hello.» From the moment I viewed the community and apartment to the day I received my keys, the experience was smooth, flawless, and stress-​free.
Built in 2012 – 2013, the grounds are clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. More importantly, they are being kept beautiful which is obvious once you walk ten feet in any direction.
I rented my apartment here based on the apartment itself, it’s new (has the updated stainless steel/​granite kitchen, etc) and for a one-​bedroom it’s laid out beautifully and functionally. The gorgeous amenities were a total bonus for me! The pools are both huge with enormous barbecue areas and large decks with enough chairs to actually accommodate the residents here, as opposed to most communities with barely enough chairs for one of their buildings.
So far, I haven’t heard a peep except for introductions from the seemingly very nice neighbors and I honestly was prepared for much worse going from a house to an apartment. The new construction must have something to do with this, I feel like I’m in a bunker with the peace and quiet! The assigned parking makes parking easy, and so far my guests have been able to find a parking space every single time, which to me is an complete bonus for a community like this. Most are disasters.
The location couldn’t be better for me as indicated by my opening statement, but besides being close to my favorite downtown area and beach, I’m a 30 second drive away from anything else that I need in either direction. Grocery shopping, salons, bars/​restaurants, pharmacies, dry-​cleaners, carwash,. .. the list goes on and on but it’s all here.
I didn’t think I would be this happy transitioning from a house to an apartment, but all of a sudden I find myself with a lot less to take care of, and a lot more to enjoy! I can’t thank the management team enough, it must take a lot to run a place this big and they are doing a GREAT job and with a smile.

I have lived here for over 3 years now, and this is the best rental I have ever lived in. The grounds are kept meticulously, there are two gas grills that are washed down and cleaned every day. Everything is always in working order, thanks to a superb maintenance crew, led by Gabe. Work orders are addressed in a timely fashion, though I have not needed much done. Office staff is courteous, and the fitness center is always available with equipment well maintained. I feel like I live in a resort! Keep up the great work, Seabourn Cove… You are awesome.

For the last two years I’ve consider Seabourne Cove my beautiful HOME. My townhouse is beyond beautiful, the maintenance staff are amazing and the management team — impeccable. My only complaint is that I can’t buy my unit.
I highly recommend you consider Seabourne.

Terrible. Cigarette butts in the pool, beer cans all over the place, loud parties, and a lack of security due to the gates not working. Must avoid.

Lived here for 2 years! Excellent grounds, luxury pool with 2 grilling stations. Family oriented with cute tot lot on premises. Love the layout of the apartment very spacious, doesn’t feel like an apartment. Updated throughout with granite and stainless steel appliances. Buying our first home so we are moving, but will miss Seabourn Cove!

I have lived in Seabourn now for almost 2 years, I have to say its gotten better over the past year with the new property manager who is extremely friendly and who has done a lot of great things with interacting with the residents…
Also I cannot rave ENOUGH about the Head of Maintenance Gabe he is such an asset to this property and is always willing to assist whenever I have a crisis. Which is often being a single woman LOL… Overall Love it here very happy

Repost — originally asked to take it down by Seabourn management but since they failed to follow through on their end and return my deposit without any explanation and continue to ignore my calls/​emails…
I was very excited to move into this «luxury» community (phase II) when it first opened (June 2013) but I feel recently it has gone downhill. They have a minimum income requirement of roughly $ 52,000 a year and a full background screening but the quality of recent new residents is a bit questionable (I don’t know if they are just trying to fill the complex?)
The office staff has changed several times and the sense of community is no longer there. The employees in the leasing office are all on different wavelengths of knowledge, one day I am being told one thing and the next its a completely different story. It’s like they change the rules as they go.
The other major problem for me is that the gates to this community is rarely, if ever, closed. The gates are always left open during the day and are «sometimes» closed at night. If the community is going to purport itself as a gated luxury community, the gates should be down at all times unless opened by a resident! The convenience of having the gates open to the delivery people and staff should not outweigh the safety of the resident and their belongings and every time the gates break IT TAKES DAYS (weeks) AND A DIFFERENT EXCUSE from management why it’s taking so long.
The apartments are nicely upgraded and the layouts are very functional, but the gate situation and unorganized staff just is not worth the high cost for rent for a claimed «luxury apartment»
Also, if you complain to management about another resident THEY WILL TELL THAT RESIDENT Who complained (a pic to follow shortly) !

DON’T MOVE HERE!
I moved into Seabourn Cove on Feb. 28, 2014. Today is July 13, 2014. During this time the gate to enter my apartment’s parking lot has been disabled, broken, or simply not working at least one third of the time. This morning I ran errands and had groceries I really wanted to get into my apartment’s refrigerator out of the hot July Florida weather. You guessed it; the gate would not open for me, neither gate. So, I assume it’s the gate clicker not working. I go to the office and inform the combo of Kelly/​Dana and am given a new clicker. Not sure which is which but the one who gave me the clicker seemed to be really amused at my inconvenience, she had a smirk on her face. She also didn’t like that she had to get up from her desk and help me. I told her I was glad she was amused. And wouldn’t you know it; the second clicker did not work. So, I go back again. I’m told I need to calm down; they are going to call the police, yada yada yada. I was calm, was I angry, yes. I did not threaten anyone. I did tell some prospective renters waiting in the lobby moving here was a mistake, just as I’m doing now by writing this review and as it is my constitutional right to free speech to do so. I was impatient with Kelly/​Dana because of what I’ve previously mentioned and their overall collective non-​caring attitude. So, I get a third clicker. I ask them if there is a way for them to test it and make sure it works. So I’m given a new clicker right out of the box this time. And you guessed it, it doesn’t work either. I had to wait for someone to drive out and then I drive in the wrong way to get home. I’m not sure Kelly/​Dana are intelligent enough to know how to program a clicker correctly or they intentionally are trying to make me angry. This is the management staff at Seabourn Cove. Whatever issue you have they have an attitude about being informed of it. It’s been like this since I moved in. They seem to think once you sign your lease/​move in you don’t matter. At the end of my conversation with Kelly/​Dana I’m informed the property manager Stephanie will call me Monday morning and perhaps the regional manager Craig will as well. The subtext is I’m being threatened and they enjoyed this. If they don’t call I’m going to contact them and tell them they should hire people who want to do their job. BTW, while I was waiting to get the first replacement clicker, there was another resident there complaining about someone parked in her assigned spot for days and surprise surprise surprise, even though she had informed management nothing was done? And the same smirker at my inconvenience had the same attitude and smirk with this lady, and this lady told her she obviously didn’t care that someone was parked in her spot and didn’t appreciate her attitude.
Moving on, the security for the Phase II complex where I live is very lacking. I don’t care so much if people want to get drunk at the pool, I live far enough away I don’t have to hear them. But throwing pool furniture and dogs into the pool, and then management does nothing about it??? From my neighbors who have complained about this they are told they are watching video to try to determine whose doing what, but of course management doesn’t really seem to care. Also, I was grilling out on July 4^th with friends and there was nearly a drunken brawl at the pool. Additionally, when I brought up the throwing furniture & dogs into the pool after mentioning the clicker this morning, I was told and I quote «We can’t control what people do» from one of the Kelly/​Danas’. Correct. But this is an apartment community where it is Seabourn Cove’s responsibility to maintain the facilities (pool, gate, & etc.) that residents are paying rent to use.
The one positive is that the maintenance staff does do a good job. They were prompt on fixing my refrigerator after I moved in and have a good attitude whenever I see them on the grounds. So I have no complaints with them.

Bad: Gates rarely work, loud parties at the pool, guests park in reserved spots without worry, management consistently disappoints.

REALTORS beware! They will not pay you your commission. Ashley helped my clients and I. After they moved in I tried calling, emailing, etc and everyone plays dumb. Even Stephanie, the so called manager who I spoke to when I physically went in to collect, was extremely unhelpful. I would definitely be careful moving here just for that reason alone. If the staff is this unresponsive, I can only imagine how they treat residents with maintenance Issues or refunding deposits. You’d think the investment company who owns this place would be more picky in choosing the staff after they made a couple million off of these apartments.
