The Inn At Boynton Beach

zero stars. this place has bedbugs. i woke up to a bedbug crawling away from my face. i flip out and call the front desk. they send maintenance who came and actually saw the shell casings behind the bed. i also presented them with a bug i found as i was spraying the room and my stuff down with bug spray that i brought from home depot the min i saw them. well i let others know to be careful and check their rooms because people had babies and kids there. the manager was not on site as this was on a sunday. today i call and the manager tells me nothing was found in my room and they do not have bed bugs. he said you went and told people we had bedbugs and i was yelling on the property. yes i told guest to check their rooms but there was no yelling on the property. i just moved and i had to get a storage unit to unpack my car before i could take the things from the hotel to the car. i had intented on staying there until my home was ready for us to move in (min 2 weeks, we checked in friday and left sunday). this caused me to endure 7 hours of shifting my belongings around and going to the laundry mat immediately to avoid contamination. even more extra money to get bug spray and garbage bags. the ones the hotel provided were almost see thru and broke when we tried to put our clothes in. i was told yesterday prior to leaving that the manager would have to issue the refund. today i talk to stephen who refused to issue me a refund due to me notifying the other residents. he said his crew did not find any bugs. again the maintenance man came to my room and found a shell casing as well as me finding one right before i left and bringing it to the front desk as more proof. thank god i took pics because i know that the last thing management wants to admit is something this serious. if you have kids do not go to this hotel for any reason!!! i am currently on the phone with priceline trying to get a refund. the manager is putting them on hold every time they call. he is avoiding speaking to them. i have been on hold for 38 mins now as i am writing this review. do not use this hotel. it is a nightmare. update: manager refuses to issue a refund. do not use this hotel.

I make my reservation for air hotel car through southwest airline. Car good air fare great. Hotel horrifying and would like to request you take them off your list of suggestions. Rooms are filthy cigarette smoke come through the air vents and the hotel is smoke free. We complained and they really didn’t care and we tried tell our health concerns 4 times and every time no manager available. If there was a way to give a minus star I would.

Ayayayay… Go somewhere else and spend the extra cash. Our restroom was plain nasty and our beds had red stains… no one helped… We had to leave early in the morning

Stayed 4 nights recently. Run down property ok for budget business trip. First room they put me in smelled like someone died under the bed a month ago. Second room ok. Good housekeepong. Best items at free breakfast are coffee and waffle. Eggs cold. Owner clearly relies on location right off 95. Good luck.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. This is the most absolutely disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The first night I found BLACK MOLD in my room. When I went to the front desk, the nasty receptionist told me that there were no other rooms they could switch me too because they were fully booked. She seemed to be used to getting these complaints from guests.
She said a maintenance person could come to the room and check the problem. The man came and confirmed that it was indeed black mold. Only when he called the front desk to confirm the black mold, did the receptionist change my room. They switched me to a room that had just been treated for mold. I had also asked to speak with a manager, but the receptionist proceeded to tell me that the manager is never at the hotel during the weekend. And the owner never comes there. Shocker.
Later in my visit, I experienced a lovely visit from a few cockroaches. (photo attached)
Other than the seedy room, the continental breakfast was disgusting. Disk-​shaped eggs were among the lovely breakfast choices, along with murky orange juice, stale bagels and bread, and the most disgusting oatmeal I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Last but not least, the freight train that passed right by the hotel at 3am was very soothing and relaxing.
DO NOT STAY HERE!

Do not stay at this «hotel». The cheaper prices are not worth the stay. Other recent negative reviews sum up this place quite well, so here’s my quick take:
* rude front desk staff, who seem to be well conditioned into fielding complaints over and over again
— I was told the manager doesn’t work weekends, yet when we requested him on Friday and Monday as well, he was not in those days
— I was told the owner, «never comes here», when I requested to speak to him.
* there was black mold all over the ceiling, wall behind the headboard of the bed and the shower
— when we went to the front desk to complain, we were told there were no other rooms available and she didn’t seem concerned we had BLACK MOLD literally all over the room. It wasn’t until we tracked down a maintenance person to come look at our room did we actually get assistance. The maintenance worker (more helpful than anyone working at that place) radioed the front desk to put us into a different room and they found one for us. Why couldn’t the front desk person do that for us in the first place? Great customer service!
* We found cock roaches in the bathroom and near the bed (alive and crawling around). When we were complaining about the cockroach problem, another hotel guest came storming into the lobby complaining about having cockroaches as well… on another floor.
* according to previous reviews, this place has a known bed bug problem.
* breakfast consists of limited, disgusting food. The serving area is extremely dirty, food is stale, juice comes out as water and tables are not cleaned.
* The mattresses feel like they haven’t been changed since the day the hotel opened. They are all sunken in and creaky.
All-​in-​all this hotel is super seedy, not well kept, infested, dirty and has no customer service whatsoever. This place, from the looks of reviews years ago, may have been a decent hotel. However, it is currently a run-​down, disgusting place to be. We had family staying in 2 other rooms and we switched rooms the first night because of the black mold issue. (Btw they moved us to a room that was cleaned of black mold an hour before, so this is a systemic problem throughout, obviously). All the rooms look the same, gross and dirty. There is a reason that it is the cheapest hotel around. Even at the price it is at, still not worth it. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money to stay someplace nicer, perhaps in delray beach. Spend the extra money, you will be pissed at yourself in the long run and regret it if you don’t. No, seriously… spend the extra money, it really is that bad!

This place is super seedy. Hotel staff is rude and not helpful. No coffee when I went for breakfast and no urgency from front desk to help me. Check in front desk associate was really rude also. Everyone that works here is a bit nasty and apathetic. Rooms are barely clean. WiFi doesn’t work well. Prostitutes and resident drunks are outside every night.
We have been coming here for years when we visit family. Just gets worse and worse each time. Last time we are staying here.

This inn has a lot to be desired. It is very run down and in need of a lot of updating. The breakfast was awful! If you are looking to sleep and don’t care about anything else than it is ok.

Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate and your only other option is to sleep in your car for the night. All the hotels I found around this area were a little more expensive, but this place is way too overpriced for the dump that it is. I’ve seen worse rooms, but it was pretty old and beat up. The AC/​heater was falling off the wall and half broken. The room was cold because the heater would not blow warm air, even set at 90°. The wifi is total garbage, which I needed most because I was here on business. Most websites won’t even load up at all. And you can’t even pick up the signal (that doesn’t work anyway) unless you’re somewhere specific in the room, like closer to the door or in the bathroom. I didn’t bother going in the gym because they didn’t have a single dumbbell in there. The breakfast was pretty pathetic too. It was a madhouse when I got down there, with not a single table available and everything running out. There were egg patties, soggy bacon, soggy donuts, bread, yogurt and rancid chunky creamer for your coffee.

I have never written a review of anything in my life. This place was a disaster from the get go. Upon arriving at the Inn, we were greeted with some of the worst customer service. The parking was adequate, the lobby decent. Upon finally getting into our room, a humid like slighty musty scent hit us, not too bad, though, so we stayed. Even through low water pressure, old looking rooms, terrible breakfast food and poor housekeeping service, we stayed. Then the second morning we were there, I discovered a bug crawling on me and a bite on my arm and leg. I squished the bug and blood came out. I took a picture of the bug and looked on google to see and yes it was a bed bug. I called the front desk and told them about it, they said they would move us to a new room, We demanded a refund for our room and were told that the manager would give us a refund, but on Monday, when he returned, A man came to our door and offered to move us across the hall. He was rude. As we were moving our stuff across the hall, we saw other people talking and they were discussing their bed bug issues and how they got moved. They stayed. We were in shock and standing in our room. We took the sheets off and inspected the new room, then the rude man walked by and asked if we were comfortable, but in a rude way. When we finally said that we were not comfortable, he said that he would get our money back. He came back and said we would be refunded in full and could leave now. I got a statement and an email that we had a zero balance. There was no apology, no surprise, it was a terrible experience.
Do Not Stay There!

There was an event going on when we checked in, and because of the event there was absolutely no parking. Not a single spot. People were parking across the street and walking to the hotel property. We went into the hotel and told the front desk there’s no available parking in the lot and asked where we can park. The attendant told us the event was going on until 2:00AM and that they would call us at 2 in the morning so we could come down and park. …I couldn’t believe he was being serious. Ridiculous. Customer service throughout our stay was subpar at best.
The room was… not a total disaster. Bed was comfy. Plenty of pillows. The bathroom, however, was not in great shape. The area under the sink was dirty and there were lime and rust deposits around the bathtub and towel rack.
Also, the wifi in this hotel: completely awful. We were on the third floor but I could pick up the signal from our floor, and the floors just above and below us. None of the three networks worked adequately. I tried to connect on three separate devices. Was not able to load even simple webpages. For someone who needs to remain «connected» for work, this a problem.
And finally, the complimentary breakfast left much to be desired. This wasn’t a huge deal for me, but I have to admit I was disappointed because I was looking forward to a nice little breakfast.
Will not stay here again.

After three days I noticed several small bug bites on my arms and chest. I checked the bed but found nothing. My wife suggested that I check at night. That evening I came in late and flicked this lights on and checked under the sheets. I found several bugs crawling in the sheets and blanket. I took a couple of picture and showed them to the man at he front desk after he told me there was no manager in. He was nice enough to switch my room. I stayed up till 3am washing and drying my clothes. After all, who wants to bring bedbugs home with them? I had to purchase a new suitcase because I had left mine on the other bed the entire time. Also, how was I supposed to sleep after that. When I checked out the next morning, I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me. No one has called. I also called twice and have left messages for the manager to call me but again, I have received no return call. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel.

I was happy to see so many good reviews but found them to be a bit overdone after my stay at the inn.
Pros: inexpensive and easy to find, near the beach.
Cons: almost everything else.
I booked this room in advance online, they did not charge the account right away as was stated, they also sent an email that said I would receive a follow up email with my confirmation number, I had to call them to get that number sent to me. The lobby of the Inn is nothing special, they have no maps of any of the areas attractions or nearest food locations, there is a small little «shop» (I assume I was never told anything about it) that has sodas and some food. The sign in the elevator has a major misspelling and you can see exactly where they got these cards from as they just pasted their name over it (this may sound petty but it goes to show their lack of attention to details).
My room (on the third floor overlooking the interstate, would some sound damping curtains really kill you guys?) looks outdated, there was a missing picture on the wall, the color scheme was awful, the little book in the room that tells you about the hotel and has the TV channel guide was out of date (I had to call on day 2 of my stay and ask what channel Comedy Central was as I was watching it the night before and had forgotten, I was informed that they do not have that channel in spite of me having watched it, I then found it and informed the front desk). This out of dateness is yet another example of their lack of attention to details. The desk chair was obviously broken as it was leaning back with no one in it (again who did not notice this?)
The bathroom door was messed up and looked to have some mold on it, the shower head only reaches to my shoulders (I am 6’2″ tall), the fine mist setting needs to be cleaned out so that it is not so painful, and a vent in the bathroom would be helpful to get rid of the steam. The little refrigerator in the room still had plastic over most of the top, where the microwave sits but you can tell someone tried to take some of it off and then stopped. The best thing at breakfast was the waffles or toast, the «eggs» have zero taste to them.
If you plan on using Wi-​Fi you better be able to make your own hotspot I timed it at one point in the middle of the day on Tuesday and it took 7 minutes to load the google page on my iPad. This is unacceptable performance and needs to be fixed immediately. You may also want to give the guests some sort of acknowledgment that there is Wi-​Fi available and that no password is needed, I lucked out and just did a search to learn that.
It is the ongoing lack of attention to detail that has caused me to give such a low ranking to this location. It is also the lack of attention to detail that has caused me to reevaluate my extended stay for business. I will actually stay further away at someplace more expensive just so I can ensure a comfortable stay.

Hotel
We needed a place to stay for a few days that was convenient to my future in-​laws house as well as the beach. After an Expedia search this place came up with a very decent cost so we booked it.
The hotel is right off of 95 on Boynton Beach Blvd which is great for getting around quickly. The grounds were nicely kept (always the first thing I look at) and we parked, headed in and got our room etc. from the very nice front desk people.
Hotel proper is outside the main lobby in a separate building — you walk through some nice foliage to get to it.
The place has been going through renovations so you will see some construction stuff here and there. We only had a newly renovated room and it was very nice. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Showers had good pressure and the toilet flushed… always a bonus!
There was a free breakfast buffet, but beyond coffee we didn’t try it as it was very crowded with families and kids.
All in all a very good experience, especially for the cost. Free wifi to boot but mostly in the lobby area.

I could get nitpicky here, and say the Wi-​Fi was slow or that the tub didn’t drain well, but I don’t see the point.
The bottom line is we enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was… both on the inside and to our budget.

We stayed at The Inn during our family trip to Florida for 7 days 6 nights. Overall we had a pleasant experience. The pool was lovely, breakfast had a nice variety, and the location of the hotel was great to shopping areas, restaurants, and attractions. There’s also an onsite grill that we made use of. Our room held both a small fridge and microwave which helped with saving money towards not eating out every day, as well as storing leftovers. Staff were also friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again if ever in Florida.

Quaint! If you don’t mind walking, the beach, theaters, and mall is within your reach. Being right off of 95, it is also very convenient. Overall a pleasant stay.

Construction, no wireless, no wonder they knocked that price down. False advertisement is poor business, this place is whack. Also orbitz lacks any standards in false advertisement as well neither of them spoke on the down internet but boosted about hi speed, and neither said a thing about construction!!! Never use orbitz and def never stay at the inn in boynton. And i got two more days

Good no frills, large room. Clean and everything worked fine. When I entered the room was freezing with AC set at 60. WiFi worked fine for me and the included breakfast featured biscuits and sausage gravy, along with cereal, scrambled egg (in strange flat squares), cereals, yogurt, toaster waffles, juice, etc… Yum…
Staff was friendly… Non-​smoking hotel which is a plus for me…

This is a basic hotel with a pretty nice lobby… don’t let it fool you into thinking the rooms are going to be as nice!
However, with that said the room was clean, the TV worked and I wasn’t afraid to sit down. Wi Fi supposedly exists in the rooms, but I wasn’t able to even find it listed. Typical, albeit very basic, complimentary breakfast buffet from 6:30 — 10 AM. The staff working were VERY pleasant!
For the rate I paid, staff cheerfulness and the proximity to the Boynton Beach Marina, I would definitely stay here again.
