Quality craftsmanship is important to us at Carter’s, so that is what we look for in products to bring into the store.
We carry Honcho handmade cowboy boots. These boots are crafted with the best materials available by artisans who take pride in what they are creating. These are made to our very own specifications in El Paso, Texas. We carry several styles in stock, but can create anything custom just for you. Soon we will be able to offer Anderson Bean Boots as well.
Kenetrek Mountain, Hiking, and Pac Boots are a staple in our store. A Montana designed product by people who are avid sportsmen. They are designed to withstand the worst punishment the out of doors can offer, yet provide comfort and support and durability where you need it. We offer a full range of Kenetrek products and are the only Authorized Kenetrek repair center in the US.
We also carry Hathorn, Wesco, and Whites Pac boots.
More Than Just Boots
Beyond boots, Carter’s Boots and Repair offers handmade leather goods, clothing and other accessories.
Our master craftsmen create belts; jingle bells; boot jacks; cases for knives, phones, and multi-tools. We also offer scrap leather or leather pieces for sale and leather crafting supplies for you to make it yourself.
Look for Filson apparel and luggage; Wyoming Traders clothing; bags by Victoria Leather, Breezy Mountain Leather, American West, and Lew and Me. We carry Smartwool, Kenetrek and Schaefer wool socks.

Established in 1994.
Carter’s Cobbler Shoppe, Inc. was created in 1994 by Jeff and Lisa Carter as a small boot and shoe repair shop. Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in boot sales and repair. Over the years, we have grown to become a nationally recognized retail center for western style cowboy boots.

Business Owner
Jeff Carter is a native of Bozeman, Montana and has been repairing boots, shoes, and any manner of leather goods since 1980. He is married to his wife, Lisa and they have three children. Everyone in the family has a part to play in keeping Carter’s Boots and Repair a thriving business.
