History

Established in 2013.

Formerly the Bozeman Bike Peddler, a change in ownership resulted in the Gear Wizard in 2013. The new owner continued the practice of providing quality used bikes to the community, but changed the name to reduce confusion with the Bozeman Bike Kitchen.

In addition to used bikes, new bikes, a full service shop, accessories, and unique soft goods are available at the Gear Wizard. In 2014 the shop started ski and snowboard repair and provide a limited ski and board selection.

The Cannery District surrounding the shop has changed but the Gear Wizard continues to offer a wide variety of new and used bikes, and top quality service for your outdoor gear.

Business Owner

Brian started cycling as an off-​season training program to swimming. After a few years of bike racing, his focus had shifted from water to wheels.

Brian’s work with the bicycle community include a great deal of advocacy for the sport, and the utility of infrastructure for cyclists in many areas.
