Yum! Best iced chai latte in Bozeman(I sample many!!). Also, great atmosphere inside and free wifi. Fun things to buy while waiting for your drink too!

Yet another pleasant coffee shop on Main Street. Great coffee. I had a great iced tea. Comfy.

I used to love going to Leaf and Bean as a kid, but hadn’t gone in about 2 years as I usually go to Wild Joe’s Coffehouse now. A friend wanted to go though so I figured it was a good time to try it again. Well it started bad when they were out of iced black coffee… how does a coffee house run out of black coffee? So they suggested iced vanilla coffee instead, and it was just okay. It cost me $ 2, and I drank it there and wanted a refill. Most places either do free refills or a reduced cost refill… nope. Cost a full $ 2 for a refill. So what’s the point of even hanging out there? I’ll stick to Wild Joes where they take care of patrons.

We went to Leaf and Bean the other day because we were in the area and wanted to try something new. Unfortunately it was one of those experiences where you regret trying something new and realize you should’ve stuck with your tried and true. We ordered a Pumpkin Pie Latte and White Chocolate Mocha. Mine, despite being only a medium, was $ 6!(with almond milk) It was the most expensive latte I’ve ever had. As for the hot drinks themselves; we couldn’t tell which was whose and neither of them tasted good either. They both tasted like plain black coffee. After assuming a mistake might have been made in the ordering process we tried again with the same results. So went to Starbucks and paid less for much better tasting drinks. Oh well, live and learn.

The Leaf and Bean is a great coffee shop. Unfortunately, everyone in Bozeman knows that and every other visit I have to share my experience with half of the city. While the recently renovated coffee shop is expansive and sufficiently large enough to hold its patrons, the single register and small coffee bar becomes the limiting reactant. While the coffee is great, it can sometimes take noticeably longer to get it than at other shops due to the almost steady flow of customers. The menu is overwhelming and not intuitively organized. However, after a couple minutes of staring mouth-agape, you can finally navigate it and hopefully figure out what you want. Luckily, regardless of what you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Perhaps the largest draw at The Leaf and Bean is their specialty items, which include a handful of scrumptious milkshakes and specials that rotate daily and weekly. Toffee cream lattes, thin mint milkshakes, and grape escape italian sodas are a few examples of the creative and tasty specials that always pair nicely with the seasons. Without loud folksy alternative music playing over an absurd number of speakers like every other shop, Leaf and Bean is quiet and a prime choice for concentrating on something(unless there are small children, which there frequently are on weekends). Hungry? You’ve got options. A full display case presents a dangerous array of treats sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. And if you need something savory and more substantial than a cookie, Burger Bobs is conveniently located next door. Even through the occasional overcrowding, The Leaf and Bean remains high on my list of preferred coffee haunts. The great coffee and mind-bending and dynamic array of choices makes every experience a unique and enjoyable one.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing! I love looking through all of the trinkets and fun section of great gift ideas. The dessert case is also wonderful. If you’re going to indulge, this is the place to do it! They also have the amazing tea flavor«An Evening in Missoula». My only concern is that the coffee isn’t always wonderful. I have yet to have had a consistent drink made. That being said, I will always have a special place in my heart for The Leaf and Bean!

Love the Leaf and Bean! Been coming here for 15 years and coffee is some of the best around. Try the Yerba Mate too!

I visited here with my kiddos this morning; ordered a jasmine green tea, a small chai, and a lemonade, along with a granola yogurt from their refridgerated case. I wasn’t a fan of the green tea(very bitter!), but everything else was just fine. The service was great and very friendly. Things that could make it better: — highchairs and booster seats!

This coffee place in Bozeman has only gotten better over the years. They make a sold latte. The staff are friendly. The seating area is decent.

Charming little place with cute one-of-a-kind gifts like Anne Taintor mugs and such. I had the«Flathead Cherry» flavored coffeeblend. It was AMAZING. Very good. I got a biz card and they’re going to sell me coffee online. If you like flavored coffees, it was THAT good.

Good coffee. Yes! Casual place with plenty of seating. The cookies are pretty good. The rest of the pastries look yummy. They also sell a few cute random items that are fun to explore. As an non-local, I like the local vibe at L&B.

I stopped in while driving from Miles City to Salt Lake City, UT. I really like the atmosphere, coffee, and the cheery attitudes of the staff-all of whom were not only fast and friendly, but also drop dead gorgeous(especially Jenny). I wish I lived in Bozeman-this place would be my 2nd home! Also I like the historic downtown the place is situated in. Very charming and quaint.

Great drip coffee but the chocolate cherry muffin was too die for! Cute shop with so a cute variety of gift, novelty and assorted items that will give you lots to browse through. Oh, and if you actually wanted to sit and enjoy your coffee… plenty of comfy choice seating!

I needed something to keep me awake on the road. I decided to look for some good coffee before coming to Bozeman. This place came highly recommended on Unilocal and turned out perfect! The baristas were friendly, cute and helpful to a tired road dog. The place is large, buzzing with energy and their menu is colossal! Plus, they had a nice selection of mugs and drinking accoutrements that I had to select something from for a gift. Highly recommend this joint. Their coffee is great!

Driving through Bozeman, we needed some coffee. The Leaf & Bean name and logo caught our attention; the«look and feel» lured us in. Our coffee to-go turned into a stay; conversation with the next table turned into cups 2 and 3; the sophisticated, yet down-home friendly service demanded we stay for lunch; too full for one of their GREAT looking desserts … so we took it to-go … which was our original plan for a cup of coffee. How late did that stop make us? Who cares. Grabbing a coffee to-go to get to our destination is «punctual.» Enjoying some«Montana Friendly» at the Leaf & Bean is «living.» We’ll be back. MPO

I was at the downtown location and really loved it. The coffee shop ambiance is very comfortable. The front window display actually lured me in. If you buy a post card or note card from them, write it while enjoying you coffee there… they’ll mail it for you. I love that. I had the coffee espresso combo… potent. :) The only draw back was that my lemon mulberry cupcake I was so excited about was dry, like days old dry. But everything else was thoroughly enjoyable.

Another vendor meeting spot on our wedding venue research trip. This place has a cool atmosphere, friendly waitstaff(baristas?) and enough seating for a busy Saturday morning. The lighting is a bit dark, but you get used to it. There are some fun products for sale on the shelves in addition to the drinks/baked goods. Overall, it’s pretty cool. I’d come back.

Good for espresso. Not good for productivity. Leaf and Bean locations brew Coffee Trader’s beans. They have consistently good espresso. Both of the Bozeman locations I’ve been to have free WIFI. The main street café is open more hours than the 19th street café but it is more popular with families. There are a few small tables and some power outlets so it’s tempting to set up the Macbook and get to work here. But when the kids start playing the piano it can be very distracting. Try going across the street to Wild Joe’s if this place is too busy.
