The food is good, however the staff every time I been there acts bored, even aloof. Of course it’s fast food, so I shouldn’t expect much better, but you keep hoping for more.

Quick and excellent I stopped in to Freddy’s tonight and got their Original Double Combo with Cheese. It was excellent. My absolute favorite fries are shoestring and this combo came with a big pile of ‘em. The steakburger was juicy and delicious. Once I placed my order it didn’t take long before they called my number. Tempted I was to include a frozen custard but I took a pass this time. The place was reasonably clean for how late it was in the day. The décor is red, red tables, red chairs, and red booths.

Seasoned fries were amazing, hot and crisp. While burgers were made to order, they were disgusting. Flat, chopped, and flavorless. Blehck! If I ever come again I will get fries and custard only.

Went to Freddie’s this afternoon. I already knew what I wanted to order and approached the counter. About six feet beyond the counter, stood four employees in a giggly discussion and totally ignoring me. Five minutes later and I’m nearly ready to turn around to leave, they decide to disband and one comes to the counter and just looks at me, no greeting, nothing. I ask«are you ready» and I get a facial response in return as if I were the devil. Anyway, I give her my order, she takes my money, gives me a receipt, and a cup for my drink. After wrestling with the foamy drink machine, I wait a few minutes, and they call my number. I then go to the pickup counter. There’s a tray with my food, but there’s no one around to even acknowledge it. So I take the tray and sit down to eat. The double burger was so thin, flat, dry, and burnt it pretty much just crumbled away. The bun was the only thing holding it together. The fries, however, were thin but actually pretty good and tasty. After this experience, I probably won’t ever be going back as it’s clear Freddie’s is seriously lacking in good restaurant supervision and management.

The food was good. Definitely order to be made kind of style. I also love making my own topping for the cheeseburgers. The fries are similar to fries from steak n shake. Onion rings are the bomb! Only thing is, the servers look unhappy or died. They dont greet customers. There was also fruit flies around the soda machines. The ketchup was also out! Both jars were not re filled

The food is usually very good but today someone got carried away with the salt shaker. The hamburger meat was quite salty but the fries were not eatable. Seems like they could lightly salt everything and let the customer add more if needed. Normally I would give them a five star but can not do that today.

Great tasting burgers and fries. We’ve gone back twice. The food is very fresh. Fries are of the shoestring style.

If you go to Freddy’s for ice cream, it’s all good. Their food on the other hand is gross in my honest opinion. The hamburgers are flat as a pancake and the fries have no substance. I have tried to eat there a couple times lately and neither time tickled my tastebuds, in fact — quite the opposite! Maybe if I had just ordered ice cream it would have been a better rating.

Chocolate shakes SUCK! Caught them on a bad night because the guy at the register clearly has no patience. No caps to go, so my truck enjoyed the spillage.

First time visit for us. Really good burger and interesting shoestring fries. Loved the cement too. Never met an ice cream I didn’t like.

Burger great but dogs lacking. The dog was warm and there were toppings but didn’t seem cooked; more like a bunch of premade toppings thrown together. Burger was great with good balance of toppings and crispy beef.

Always a great choice for a «classic» style burger. Hot seared patties and skinny fries are great. It’s hard to make a statement out there in the burger world but Freddy’s does it. I can’t help but stop in with the kids for a quick bite. Upgrade from the arches… Is it still fast food?

Burgers are great but the service has really gone south since they first opened. The girl taking our order couldn’t have looked any more annoyed that we were there and literally rolled her eyes every time we added something to our dinner(sorry 5 people can mean 5 times the food… crazy i know). At any rate, the steak burgers are very good quality meat. They use a double steam table grill that gets crazy hot and sears up the meat really nicely. The fries are thin cut shoestring like Steak ‘n Shake however the burgers are comparable at all. Freddy’s is much much better. Overall I really like this place but the horrible service left a bad taste in my mouth tinight

Solid fast food. My favorite thing here is the fry sauce. It’s probably just ketchup and mayo, but non-the-less, I really enjoy it. It reminds me of Steak and Shake, just a little higher priced.

The night I spent with Freddy’s vanilla custard was unforgettable. I would love to share details, but I am a gentleman and won’t kiss and tell. Just know that it was magical.

Steakburgers is what they call it. Sounds about right. The Freddy sauce appears to be ketchup and mayonnaise. The fries are crispy and cut thin. The chocolate custard is rich and delicious. The aforementioned along with a drive-thru window make this place as good as a fast food joint can get. Their single patty California style steak burger without onions is fantastic. The patty isn’t greasy, the Freddy sauce is tangy, there’s lettuce, tomato(two fresh slices!), American cheese… perfect flavor and healthy combo ;). The shoe string fries with Freddy sauce is a must. I’m seriously addicted. The custard must be chocolate. Vanilla is not nearly as good as the chocolate. Skip the chicken tenders, too much batter and dry… stick with the burger and fries.

Freddy’s is the Yuppie version of Steak N’ Shake. It has simple, fresh food that comes out fast and is priced so that you can bring the family on your way to Lowe’s. We went on a Saturday around noon and it was packed. The staff was comprised of high school kids and they were polite and efficient. It’s great there. Nothing wrong with Freddy’s for a quick bite!

It takes me longer to drive to Freddy’s than it does to get to St Pete, but you will still find me getting Freddified on their custard Concrete. Like a Blizzard, but with flavor and class. My favorite is the Hawaiian Concrete; vanilla custard, macadamia nuts, chopped pineapple, fresh strawberries, and coconut. It is like crack-rox, I have to eat it immediately or I feel like I will die. The custarxiety sets in— and I have stubbed my toe and fallen in the parking lot while eating it, almost rear-ended a truck full of lawmowers while eating it. Even gotten hollard-dat while driving and eating my Hawaiian Custard. Yes, it is that awesome. Freddy’s is a chain, whatever. The«steak burgers» are similar to another chain, which we will not discuss. They will offer you Fry Sauce for your shoestring fries covered in seasoning salt. You can accept the sauce, if you like Thousand Island dressing. The hot dogs are also classy, served up like a fancy lobster roll that a Brooklyn Hipster would hand you. A brick of plat-top griddled soft brick bread, buttered and cut in half. Inside this bread brick is the filet of hot dogs, no toppings needed. Just a garlicky-textural experience. Try it. Drive-thru service is not as good as the dining area service.
