Hadakat is a small cattery in Florida specializing in hairless cats perfect for household pets, breeding or shows. We specialize in the Sphynx, Elf and Dwelf breeds in a variety of colors, including Chocolate. Sphynx cats are known for their lack of coat, exposing the marking patterns on their skin and making them uniquely warm to the touch. They are extremely intelligent, and are known to display a great amount of curiosity and affection.

At Hadakat, we are very experienced working with these cats, and we make sure that each one is extremely well cared for. We proactively scan all of our cats for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a common heart disease found in domestic cats, and we have every cat spayed or neutered before purchase so you don’t have to worry about it. We truly love the cats that are under our care, and will be happy to help you find your perfect match.

History

Established in 1979.

For over 34 years, Hadakat Cattery has been raising the best rare breed hairless cats available. Our kittens have shown in TICA and Breeding Regional shows, a testament to their beauty and health. Our breeder, Betty Haddix, has been an active breeder in the cat fancy for decades and has extensive experience raising Sphynx and other rare breed cats. We are proud of the great reputation we have earned over the years at Haddaway, and look forward to serving you for years to come.

As Manager of Hadakat Cattery, Tina’s goal is to make sure her customers receive the healthiest, most beautiful cats available. As a cat lover herself, she understands how important quality care is to the well-​being of each cat. Tina and the rest of the team at Hadakat appreciate the support they have received from the community over the years, and make sure to give back by supporting local shelters and participating in pure breed rescues.
