Neat spot out in the country. They have a farm market and farm animals as well as concerts. Once a year they sell off a huge tomato crop.

Great for birthday parties, family day out, strawberry picking, animal petting, and a nice sandbox! It’s spacious enough for everyone to interact and feed animals. Just be careful of the goats who will steal your entire paper bag of feed.

We attended the annual month-long Pumpkin Patch Festival here, and had a great time. The farm is huge, has acres of parking and has so much to offer anyone looking for a fun autumn day. The festival was very well organized and included a mini circus with juggling, trapeze work and tricks, a petting zoo, a mini hay bale maze and games for the kids. Every imaginable carnival food was well represented and prices were very reasonable for the family. If you like funnel cakes, corn dogs, candy apples, kettle corn, fried oreos, snow cones and other goodies, this was the place! There were hay rides and pony rides, lots of pumpkins to choose from, live music, picnic tables in the shade to people watch, and a very nice atmosphere at every turn. We certainly are looking forward to a return trip!

Family owned and run right out of their garden fresh or from other local farmers. That’s as local as you can get nice variety. Has you pick in season. Closed on Sunday. And summers. Lots of things to do for kids. Huge fall festival.

A fun place to come for their pumpkin festival with the grandkids. It had pumpkin cannons, hay ride, very small petting zoo, local entertainment, some craft booths, and the usual carnival fare to eat. The main barn was loaded with fresh vegetables you could buy to take home. Doesn’t compare at all to the New England Harvest festivals, but was happy Florida had at least something to give you the feel of fall. Other than their«special events» they are open to purchase fresh produce. I even went tomato picking here once. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

#179 Nothing like fall and a good old fashioned pumpkin patch and Hunsaders Farms puts on a great one. Way out in the country down by Bradenton, Hunsaders Farms puts on one heck of a great time. Hay rides, corn and pumpkin cannons, petting zoo, crafts for sale and the best part, carnival/fair food, all you can handle. Fair food is awesome by any measure. Plenty to do for the kids and good live music. We sat in the shade, had a good lunch and rocked to the sounds. A very nice day.

Great family fun event! First time attending. Parking was very organized. Gaining entry was a breeze as well! They had a $ 2 off admission coupon you could get by visiting their Facebook page. Okay where to start hmmm… SOMUCHTOLOOKAT. There were about a gazillion food stands ranging from turkey legs to BBQ to your normal festival/carnival foods. We went through the corn maze which was fun and kinda scary getting lost LOL. There was a craft fair going on which was cool to walk through and look at all of the different wares. We watched a very entertaining juggler perform tricks. His last trick-he went on a huge giraffe unicycle(had to get up via ladder) and juggled flaming pins. I’m sure we missed a lot of other stuff since we got there later in the afternoon. We missed the pumpkin cannon! So after lots of food and sun we left about half an hour before they closed. I would recommend getting there earlier as it’s not as hot and you’ll have more time to walk around and see the shows.

This is our second year at Hunsader farms for the pumpkin festival. I feel like it is one of those must do’s on my list when Fall and Halloween rolls around. It is $ 10 a person and you can get a $ 2 off per person coupon when you show then the ad from their facebook. There is so much to see here including motorcycles driving in the big round circle cages, pumpkin cannon shooting, hay rides, petting zoos, pumpkin picking, and craft vendors. That doesn’t even include half of all what is there. It is a great price for all that you get. There are tons of fall treats as well. There are many picture opps for the family w the pumpkin patches, scarecrow, animals, & shows. Definitely tons of fun. This pumpkin festival is also pet friendly so make sure you bring your pet if it is not too hot. If it is hot, just walk through the misting tunnelling, & all will be refreshed. Hunsaders can be a drive for those who don’t live in the Bradenton Sarasota area, but it is definitely worth the trip. It will definitely be a yearly visit on our must do list for the Fall/Halloween holiday!

Interesting farm off of 675. We go mainly for the U-pick tomatoes. It’s so fun to be in the fields and get to pick tomatoes off the vines. Great deals too– a large bag is usually only $ 10 and at the end of the season it was only $ 2 for a 5 gallon bucket full. It was about 100 tomatoes for $ 2. Fun experience and beyond great deal. Drive out to the country and check this place out.

Just got back from the Pumpkin Festival and I guess I expected a simple pumpkin patch with hay rides, pumpkins and petting zoo. Well, they did have all that but in a country fair sort of way. Not really what I was looking for. They charge you a fee to go in and fee to do anything there. Not sure we’ll come back again. We just moved here from NY and just looking for good ol pumpkin patches. Not country fairs.

Had a great time at the pumpkin festival! The activities were great! Lots of shops, shows, and animals to see. The only real disappointment was the monster truck show which was only about 10 minutes and very lame. I recommend the circus which is a great free show. The butterfly garden was a very nice experience although it costs $ 2 a person to get in. Everything is very overpriced but overall it’s a great experience and is perfect for kids.

Just leaving the annual pumpkin festival! Had a great time with the kids, they have plenty of things to do! Expect to drop some dough for just about everything, and bring some water cause it’s roasting hot outside and not enough shady spots. The circus is something you don’t want to miss!

Huge farm with something for everyone. We went to the Pumpkin Festival(our second time going) and despite the heat we had a great time. Be prepared to walk a half mile from your car, and carry anything you buy back for that half mile. Kids under 12 get free admission, but most activities cost extra money. We love all the vendors. Pretty much anything you have ever seen sold at a festival is here. The corn maze is kind of lame unless you have small children. The corn is only waist-high. The typical onslaught of nasty fried things is fairly nauseating, but we have learned how to bypass that stuff. We’ll probably be back next year!

The farm hosts an annual pumpkin festival which is a lot of family/friendly fun. The parking was very easy and grounds had lots of space to walk around. Lots of food vendors, games, music and of course pumpkins! This was our first time here and it exceeded our expectations. Great time! Bring cash as most vendors are cash only. I would recommend wearing closed toed shoes since lots to walk around and grounds are grassy, dirt, shells, etc. Have fun!

Great farm with lots of room to get around. Plenty of activities, including a live band, pumkin chunkin, hayrides, farm animals and more. The only thing I didn’t care for so much is the small areas to pick your pumpkin. It’s a farm… let us pick it from the field. :) Not the biggest deal really, overall we really enjoyed the place!!!

Not at all impressed with the«Pumpkin Festival». It seemed like a smaller version of the state fair. The entire festival seems a bit disorganized starting with the parking to the arrangement of vendors inside. I enjoyed watching the cloggers and local bands perform. I went with a friend who has kids and it seems they nickel & dime you on stuff for the kids. $ 2 for the bounce house, $ 2 for a train ride, $ 2 for pony rides etc. For lunch I stopped by a booth that sold fresh local grouper, I use the tern«fresh» loosely as clearly it wasn’t. The same lady who took my money proceeded to pick up a piece of cheese with her dirty fingers and put it on my sandwich! When I told her I was not about to eat something that she touched with her dirty fingers she gave me attitude! Her response was this is like eating at a picnic and I had just handed her the money so my hands were dirty anyways. I pulled out my hand sanitizer and told her I had never been to any picnic where someone expected me to eat food that has germs from money on it! It’s my understanding that these food truck types are still required to follow the same standards as a restaurant. I should have asked for my money back.

Friendly farm with animals and u-pick produce. They have a donkey, llama, peacocks, and many goats, available to pet and feed. It’s like a little paradise in here. Free entrance, fresh produce. Will be coming back! :)

My family loves Hunsader Farms! We go throughout the season. The produce is quality and the prices are wonderful. Apples were 69 cents a pound last fall. Very fun to go pick your own produce. The staff is very helpful. I wanted to pickle okra and they told me what days and time of day to get the small okra that’s best for pickling. Petting Zoo is a lot of fun. The Pumpkin Festival was just like the fair. I had the best cotton candy at that festival. It was made to order by a boy scouts Father. Just like the fair is was a little over priced between parking, admission, cost of food, games, ect. My family will go back to the farm for years to come.

We visit during the year to take advantage of the shaded playground, 25 cent bags of feed for the petting zoo, pick your own selection of produce, etc… Pumpkin Festival is a great thign to do as a family or couple, especially if the weather is cooperating.

Went to the Pumpkin Festival here and it was actually a lot of fun. They have a lot of different activities(Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Hayrides, etc) and performances(Circus, BMX Show, Lumberjack Show, etc). They also have many food stands, carnival like games and pumpkin tents(with carving and pumpkin pie pumpkins). Definitely a lot of fun for families! Parking was $ 5 and the entrance fee was $ 7.
