I can give one star because they were quick to make the service call. But can not recommend anything beyond that! When we called for a service call, they immediately tried to sell us a maintenance contract. My husband politely said«no thank you — let’s have it checked before we talk about an annual contract.» Serviceman came and in the first 15 minutes, declared our unit complete junk and all the duct work was garbage because HE hadn’t done it. He said the only thing he could do was offer to sell(and finance) a brand new unit and new duct work. For $ 15,000. In a 1000 sq foot house. Our unit is just a few months over 4 years old! We asked to please just fix the problem … We did not want a new unit. He then went outside and was on the phone for 20 minutes or so — came back in the house and announced his boss would not let him fix what we had because it wasn’t worth fixing! Either new unit or nothing. This was the worst bullying to try and get a sale we have ever gone through. Guy actually told us he would not leave until he had THREE«no’s» on anything he offered. Problem was — we said NO to everything, which evidently just made him feel more challenged and pushed even harder for a yes. If you don’t have budget constraints and are willing to trust an extremely aggressive sales pitch — call One Hour. But if you want the job done right — and nothing else added in they can overcharge for … Then do NOT call One Hour Air. The«one hour» was the time he took to try and persuade us into a new unit … Had nothing to do with their service!
