Sheryl V Okuhara, DO MD

Out of all of the Doctors that I visited during my time living in Bradenton/​Sarasota, Dr. Okuhara was by far the best. If I were to ever move to the area again, she would be my first choice. She believes in preventative care and is extremely professional. Her offices are clean and well run, she truly cares about her patients, and she is easy to talk to.
Since money was always an issue for me, she went out of her way to give me samples or discount coupons on my prescription medications, when they were available. She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered.
Sometimes her office staff and nurses can be pushy or rude, since she is in a shared office complex with other doctors.
