Established in 2012.

We purchased the business in 2012 from Mary Kay Morel and Randy Morel. Since then we have provided high quality Italian color as well as cutting and perming for our clients at reasonable prices.

Business Owner

Kris Mucho– Burger is an Owner/​Stylist. Kris grew up in Monee, IL. The beauty industry has been a passion for Kris since her high school days working in a local salon as a shampoo girl. Although Kris did not attend cosmetology school after high school, she never dismissed the notion. She never lost her curiosity for the industry. After moving to the Kankakee area she pursued her cosmetology education at Trendsetters College of Cosmetology Paul Mitchell School, Bradley, Il. She was Student council president, a member of the «Be Nice or Else» team and the «Design Team». She also competed in two student competitions, finishing fourth. After finishing cosmetology school she became the administrator for the John Amico School of cosmetology in Oak Forest, IL. helping to inspire a new generation of cosmetologists while helping expand the student population. Happy to own Kuttin Up, She feels blessed every day.
