Business Owner

CEO Miri Torres is an advocate of Dead Sea minerals as well a woman who has personally benefited from their use. Born in Israel, Torres was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in high school and underwent chemotherapy, which drastically altered her health and appearance. It was during this time in her life that she began to use natural, Dead Sea treatments and saw a restoration in the health and appearance of her skin. Immigrating to the United States at the age of 22, she decided it was her mission to bring this hope and belief in internal health to others, and thus created the Arianna Skin Care line in 2007. Torres believes Arianna Skin Care shows people that beauty comes from the inside and is designed for men and women who share experiences similar to her own wish to use all-natural beauty products as a means of improving their own lifestyle.

My review if for both the customer service and the product.
Customer service:
I have been twice to the Braintree store in the South Shore Plaza and I find the sales personnel pushy and inappropriate. When I went in June, they sucked me in with free samples and I ended up buying their body cream and exfoliating body treatment. I came back 5 months later to return the exfoliating body treatment and the salesperson said I was using it wrong and tried to up sell me eye cream. He kept pushing despite the fact that I had said that my dermatologist already recommended me an eye cream. Since when are your sales staff more qualified than a dermatologist? Back off.
On my way out, the other salesperson says to me «tell your husband to give you a food rub.» I ran out of there even faster. What my husband and I do, is not your salesperson’s business. These comments are really inappropriate. What if my husband has a disability? Is that how you tell your staff to connect with clients?
Product:
The body cream is thick and hard to spread. I got the lavender fragrance and the smell is too strong. Since it impossible to return items due to the customer service staff (I refuse to go into that store again), I dilute it and mix it with another cream to tone down the fragrance and to make it easier to spread. I would hate to put it in a landfill though after this experience at the store, I might end up donating both products to the Goodwill Store!
The exfoliating body treatment left a sticky film on my bathtub; hence, giving me extra work. When I asked the salesperson who was going to clean my bathtub he said «You are using it wrong.» And proceeded to empty the excess oil in the store sink and stuff the product container with cotton balls to absorb the rest of the excessive oil.
I won’t be returning to that store because of the pushy and inappropriate customer service representatives and their pricey-inconvenient-to-use products.

Every time I go into this store I feel as though I have been through the wringer. I despise every sleazy salesperson I have encountered. Reviews for the Tremont street location seem to mirror my experience with SSP. Why do I go back in you ask? Because I have been fighting acne for 25 years and the cleanser and scrub leaves my face clear of acne!
They do have a website, but the prices cannot be negotiated like they can in the store. $ 79 per product (or more) online versus 3 items for $ 100 in store.
This store gets a 5 for products and a zero for customer experience.

I have never experienced pushy sales tactics like this before. I was walking by and the two people working out front asked if I wanted a free sample. Sure, why not. but I was working and really didn’t have time to do a lot of talking.
The man there took me in the store and washed my hands with the products, which were nice, I admit. I didn’t really have a lot of spare cash that week, but I had liked the feeling of my hands after getting them washed.
I was going to buy just the scrub, but then the guy pushes lotion too, and before I could say no, he charges me on my card three separate times.
I won’t go in there again, but I did get some nice products. They really should not be so damned pushy. I would have come back in had they not been like that. Repeat customers would be a better thing, for sure!

I didn’t care for Dean. Fake and annoying. But their products are A-MA-ZING, hence the 5 stars! I too couldn’t purchase anything the day the whole staff practically pulled us into their store to sell us products, but I definitely will soon!

Nice place. I met Dean at this location. He’s fun and pleasant. Gave me a demonstration on their mask and the Dead Sea salt scrub. Products seem wonderful. I didn’t get anything because I can not afford it at the moment, but if I ever do, I will make sure to get it.
