I tried it again after about 5 years. Still not good. They do not have it dialed in at all. Go to Canton… it is outstanding.

I ordered a large cheese pizza via their website. I arrived early thinking I might need to wait a few minutes but to my surprise, my pizza was all ready for pick up! The lady showed me the pizza just to make sure that’s what I ordered, which was the right pizza, however, I noticed that the pizza bread and the edges were burnt. So I pointed that out to the lady and she offered to redo my pizza again but will have to wait for another 15 minutes. Since she was so nice to offer, I accepted it and the second pizza came out perfectly! Too bad I didn’t get her name but her service was definitely outstanding! 4 stars for the cheese pizza and 5 stars for the service.

Typically, I love Bertucci’s. Especially the Waltham location. Something is off here in Braintree. My chicken scampi barely had any sauce. My husband’s half roasted chicken was dry and then his fudge brownie sundae was also left to be desired. The brownie was dry as well!!! Everything was dry here, it was odd.

Went here for lunch today and was completely unimpressed. I order a simple meal just angel hair and sauce. Took about 45 minutes for my food to come out, and when it did it was not even cooked. I took one bite into it and had to spit it out, because it was so mushy and undercooked. I told my waiter who seem annoyed with ME about my food being wrong. He had he worst attitude and offered to get me a plate of spaghetti instead. I agreed just because I was sick of his attitude and wanted to talk to him as least as possible. So I went to this restaurant expecting a delicious bowl of angel hair and ended up having to have spaghetti instead. This is about the 4th or 5th time my pasta has been undercooked. Please get new cooks. About to lose my business from Bertuccis forever!

This experience at the Braintree Bertucci’s was really not-great(didn’t want to say bad), somewhat similar to the last 2. Yet, that being said, Manager Jennifer, Waitress Marla, and Waitress Meghan were ALL amazing, helpful, friendly, kind, and understanding. When getting to the Braintree location, last night(3÷12÷16), the first issue was parking. The lot is tiny, cramped, and not ideal for a full plaza as this is. Additionally, there was a 20 minute wait, with lots of people in the waiting area. What I was confused about it, why there were 5 – 6 open tables, all clean and ready to go. Quite confusing, and later they said for the last few weeks, the kitchen and waitress’ have both been somewhat understaffed(something they should really fix). After waiting, they gave my party a table in the bar area, separate from basically everything else in the restaurant. 5 minutes later, Marla came over, who was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful(as said above), and asked us about drinks. Drinks & bread were fast(and make sure to get bread if you go to any Bertucci’s), but other than that everything else was slow. I would like to emphasize that NONE of this was the Waitress’ fault, whatsoever. I witnessed her writing down everything correctly. The KITCHEN is at fault. The table closest to us, who arrived 10 minutes after my party did, received their pizza, while I was still waiting. When asking the manager about it, she knew nothing about it and went to go look into it, and the pizza arrived a few minutes later. The pizza wasn’t correct, yet they made another one anyway and the manager took care of the purchase, and made us still feel as very valued customers. Marla, Jennifer, and Meghan are the best employees here! Definitely a fine restaurant, and they will fix anything that isn’t correct, but I still wouldn’t suggest going on a Saturday night. Overall, 3 stars. I probably won’t be coming all the way back to Braintree, because of the understaffing and wait times, for a while, and would suggest other Bertucci’s locations over this one(Norwood, Needham, Holliston, etc, etc). 3 stars. Update: 4÷27÷2016 Management contacted me regarding the survey I completed on my receipt from my experience in this Braintree store. They were friendly and really wanted to make things right in the future for me and the rest of their customers. I will return in the future if I am in the area.

The food is a 4 star but cleanliness is a 2 at best — bathroom was a mess — the dinning area not clean at all and the wait staff did not wipe down the chairs — overall just another chain Restaurant

So I says to GrandMa, should we give them another try, it is doubtful any of the staff are left from the last debacles. Server Marla was excellent. Lunch Riggatoni Abruzzi is a good deal with the unlimited salad and rolls to dip in oil for 8.99. It could have used more sausage though, sausage is not that expensive.

Great service from the moment you walk in! Staff was very nice and knowledgable about the menu… The environment was so relaxing and it was very clean! And the food was just perfect! I did complain to our waiter about the rolls and he immediately got us fresh ones… I have gone to other Bertucci restaurants and this one is by far the best I’ve been to in a while… Amazing customer service!

Ehhh. It was ok. Service was slow & not hot. Food was sloppy & not well served. Waiter was pleasant but skills lacking. Good drinks but food was like a 2 to be honest.

I showed up simply to ask some questions and stood at the host table for a few minutes. There were about 8 staff members up front doing their own thing and each and every one of them looked right at me and walked away. Not one of them said«we’ll be right with you» or anything along those lines. They just looked at me and walked away. I’ve worked in the restaurant business since i was 16 and i know what type of service this means. The people i worked with would see customers waiting and do exactly what they did to me here, because it’s «not their job.» That’s just pure laziness to walk away like they did rather than at least acknowledge me so i knew i would be taken care of soon. I ended up walking out without being spoken to once. I won’t be coming back here again. Thanks for the service i never even got!

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs as a carryout order. Dinner portion was decently sized. The dinner portion came with four meatballs. In short: the spaghetti and meat sauce were good. However the meatballs were salty as hell. Next time I would just get the spaghetti and meat sauce. A number of patrons were picking up pizza. Perhaps next time I will try the pizza. Parking is easy as this location is in a strip mall. Service was decent.

The young waitress in the bar on New Year’s Eve has some serious attitude. After getting our salads 30 minutes late, our pizza followed minutes later, cold. When bringing this to the waitresses attention she looked confused and said«do you want a new pizza that’s the same pizza» when we said yes she walked away and never took the cold pizzas away. Not to mention: the tables all over the bar area were left dirty and stacked with dirty tables– this is disgusting– who wants to eat next to a dirty table of someone else’s dishes? Food was awful and service was even worse. I’ll never come back.

I always have a good experience at this location. The service is fast and friendly, and the food tastes as it should(being a chain and all). The parking lot isn’t exactly small, but it always seems a bit packed. Never so full I couldn’t find a place to park though.

Can’t go wrong here. I know it’s a chain but the food is consistently good. I have always had good service at the Braintree and Fenway locations. The rolls there are always fresh baked and delicious. Food is good, always redoing the menu, and coupons are a plus!

After a major fail experience at their Hingham location, we tried this one. Not much different. Bertucci’s used to be our favorite place but not anymore. Something has changed, ownership? management? It’s not the same service and food anymore. It’s actually quite obvious. Back in 2011 – 2012 there used to be long lines on Friday and Saturday nights, right now it’s half empty. Not a good sign. Our food was burnt, server didn’t pay much attention, had to wait for a good 20 minutes for the server to take our order, orders come in late… it’s north worth it.

Service was awful. It took more than 45 minutes to receive our food. The place was not even busy. The waitress was too preoccupied to even take our order. When our food did arrive my calzone was burnt on the outside and inside. The kids meals were lukewarm. The pasta had no taste and the kids cheese pizza was already almost cold. Very disappointing. We like Bertucci’s but this particular location was less than stellar. Will not be coming back to this location.

My husband and I were eating lunch at Bertuccis Braintree every Suunday for about eight months. I always ordered a pizza and he ordered a meal. My pizza consistently was bad: either undercooked, not cooked at all, cold or just plain bad. The last time we were there I told, the waitress, we weren’t coming back because my meal was always not correct. Her response was ok! Really??? I asked to speak to the manager who NEVER came over to our table. He did, however, remove my pizza from the bill. I did offer feedback on Bertuccis Website complete with location number, order number, etc and received zero response. They have lost a 30% tipper. Not much of a way to run a business at all. Extremely poor customer service.

When do I go to Bertucci’s? Once in a real blue moon. For someone who is not a big one on chains — I do like to support them for the sake of keeping this economy going. Having said that — I like this chain. And this location of Bertucci’s is pretty good. They are probably in a tricky a location — talk about 5 corners junction of Braintree. But that it is a strip mall with enough parking spots — I am not complaining. The space inside is quite decent. With an open kitchen on one side, a decent sized bar and a good mix of tables and booths — the interiors are designed for groups — big and small alike. Is it a place for intimate or romantic dinners? Not for me. But everyone has their own preferences. Their food is very consistent. Although on a slightly expensive side — the brick oven pizzas are quite good. And so are some of their pasta dishes. On a night out with a few friends — we ordered a large margarita pizza to share between 2 of us, a chicken scampi, a large ceaser salad and of course the customary rolls with olive oil. The pizza was crispy and the sauce was very rich and not too bland as most margarita pizza sauces tend to be. The melted mozzarella, fresh pesto — it was just right. I did get to taste some chicken scampi which was surprisingly quite delicious and not too heavy. The creamy sauce was seasoned well and the chicken pieces were very tender. When my friend ordered the dish — I was a bit skeptical. But the taste was a pleasant surprise. Finally — the chocolate cookie vanilla ice cream dessert — which I got a bite of — was not bad at all. The only complain I have is with the bar menu. Wish they had more options to choose from for the beers on tap. But that is a minuscule of a downer and totally an insignificant a detail. The ambiance is casual and service efficient. I see why this brand is a success. They do put in an effort to maintain the quality of their food and it clearly is paying off. For a picky Italian cuisine eater — it’s a big deal this chain gets 4 stars from me. Because they do a good job of what they do. Good Job!

Slow service with the kitchen. Our server was really nice but because it was so busy he forgot a couple of our requests: new plate, more bread rolls, and dressing on the side for my salad. He still checked in on us frequently. He was literally breaking a sweat — poor guy! I ordered the goat cheese, candied walnuts, spinach, shrimp, and apples salad. I asked for no apples and dressing on the side. My salad came with no apples but was heavily drenched in dressing. See picture with this review. Here is the breakdown of the ingredients: 5% shrimp, 10% walnuts, 10% goat cheese, 40% spinach, and 35% dressing. I was fishing for my shrimp…
