Body Benefit Massage Therapy

Had a massage with Jinny today and I can’t tell you how happy I am best deep tissue massage I’ve had in a very long time. All I can say is you won’t find a more professional place. clean and extremely comfortable I knew right away it was going to be a great experience.

Lauren is the best!!! There is a reason she has only 5 star reviews and it’s because she is amazing. If she sucked, I would say so (dead honest reviewer) but Lauren is like a goddess at the art of massage therapy.
I went to her in 2011 before I moved to NYC. She’s the only masseuse that has been ever to get my knots out in one session. It was an hour the first time I went. She is very professional and super nice! I’ve been to a million massages but Lauren has magic hands. All I ever thought about was how awesome her massage was and when I moved back to Boston, I bought 6 sessions with her (I am still in the middle of them).
I have 75 minute sessions and it’s the best. I look forward to each appointment. She works on the back and back of legs, then arms. You flip over and she does calves, head, shoulder and some face. Just reviewing this makes me want another session… RIGHT NOW!
She may seem expensive but when you experience her magic… It’s worth EVERY PENNY. I can easily get an hour massage on the deal sites for $ 30 but I rather pay 3−4x more to have Lauren.
I rather do a review and lie about how bad she is so I can have her all to myself but she’s just so awesome and I can’t lie… she’s superb!!!

Lauren is amazing. I didn’t know what a good massage should feel like until I discovered Body Benefit Massage Therapy. I hold all of my stress in my shoulders and upper back. The knots I have in my shoulders are huge! Every time I’ve seen Lauren, I’ve left feeling relaxed and pain-​free. It’s obvious that she has an extensive knowledge of how muscles in the body work. Not only is Lauren is talented at what she does, she is also super friendly and she truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend Body Benefit Massage Therapy!

Lauren is awesome and here is why;
Being naked on a table while someone you’ve paid is touching you can be weird, but miraculously Lauren is the only masseuse I’ve gone to that is able to make me feel COMPLETELY comfortable. (For this reason alone I will always go to her)
She’s great at reading the situation, whether its the level of chattiness or pressure, she’s very intuitive.
She’s easy to get in touch with and always flexible with scheduling.
Her pricing can’t be beat for the quality of the massage you’ll be getting. You will feel great, period.
And lastly, it’s amusing to look down while you’re on the table and see chucks instead of the typical nursing clog.
So you should stop reading reviews on Unilocal and go book a 90 minute deep tissue… no, really… do it.

I can’t say enough good things about Lauren. I don’t live in the area but a couple years back when I was visiting my parents my sister and I both desperately needed a good massage to address some knots in the back. I found Lauren on Unilocal and she was close by. Lauren was wonderful and moved around her schedule to fit us both in before we had to get on our 6hr flights back to the west coast. Not fun when your back is tight and stressed. Sis and I both agreed that she is WONDERFUL! She clearly understands muscles and what triggers what in terms of pain, tightness, and knots.
I’m a huge fan of deep tissue massage. In fact any other type of massage is a waste in my book. Deep tissue is the only kind that really works knots out and relaxes me. Lauren asks up front for preferences on pressure. But I think she is actually really intuitive on how much pressure to apply. She definitely was able to work out my knots.
I was back in town this past weekend for a half marathon. I was having this slight strain in my neck down my shoulder and arm. I could tell my neck, back, and shoulders were extremely tight. Not anything to think about on a day to day basis — but when I run it would start to bother me. So I looked up Lauren and luckily she could fit me in. I had the exact same wonderful experience with her. And she was very cognizant of the fact that I was doing a half marathon the next day — so as to not «go nuts» but worked out the tightness. I was good to go for my half!
So.not only is Lauren a wonderful therapeutic masseuse — she is truly a really nice, friendly person. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

After sustaining a very painful back strain from running, I came to Unilocal desperate to find a massage therapist in the area that would be able to see me that day. I totally lucked out when I found Lauren and she amazingly enough squeezed me in for an appointment that very day. Not only is Lauren incredibly nice, she is also really good at what she does. Not only did she ease the pain with her technique, but she also gave me a full understanding of the muscles showing her knowledge in the industry. She also followed up with me and gave me tips and advice to help address my issue. She is very passionate at what she does, and she comes HIGHLY recommended. She is a excellent massage therapist, and knows her stuff!!!
