I am so grateful to have found Julie! I have taken my cat, Izzy, to her twice for a lion cut and I couldn’t be happier. Izzy can be a bit nasty, but Julie is a pro and handles Izzy with care. Not only is Julie wonderful with the kitties, but she is extremely friendly and I truly enjoy talking with her. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a groomer in the South Shore area — go to Feline Fancy Spa & Hotel. I’ll most definitely be back.

Julie was fantastic!!! My mother and I both brought our cats to her for luon cuts and she did an absolutely amazing job. One of the cats is just over a year old and had never been groomed, he was severely matted. Julie worked quickly and was able to take care of the mats and keep him calm. The other cat has been groomed several times and was always described has «wiggly» and «difficult.» Julie took care of him quickly and he looked great. We will be bringing our two furry boys back to her next time they need their summer cuts! Highly recommend!!!

I took my «not so friendly» cat to be groomed for the 1^st time ever. Julie was just GREAT!!! She was SO GOOD with my kitty & also explained everything to me as she was doing it. She gave me great tips on how to keep up with the grooming at home as well as which products to buy (& not even from her… so she was obviously NOT trying to make a profit off of me AT ALL). She also informed me that my kitty only needed her furballs brushed out & not the lion cut that I had originally thought. I was THRILLED because it saved me over $ 35.00. Thanks to Julie’s expertise my kitty didn’t act up AT ALL & we will DEFINITELY be going back!!! Thank you Julie for making this experience as least traumatic as possible for ME and MY CAT!!!

Julie is the epitome of awesomeness! I had just moved to MA and needed someone to house-​sit my cat at the last minute during Chritstmas and New Year’s while I flew home to CA. She made herself available, even came to my house before starting to see where everything was — cat food, litter, etc. — had a professional contract, and was very accomodating with things such as turning the TV and lights on/​off during the day/​night. When it came to actually looking after my cat, she was no less amazing and personal! She sent text updates, even watered my plants and got my mail, and when I got home my kitty was very happy and I could see she had been well taken care of. On top of all of this, when I got back from CA I was super sick and homebound and Julie not only dropped my house keys off to me, but went way out of her way for essentially a stranger (a.k.a me) and brought me gatorade from the store — kind of an esential when you’re as sick as I was! This reinforced what I already knew, that she is a very compassionate, caring person that cares about others, animals and humans alike. I will definitely be using her as a cat-​sitter again!

I found Feline Fancy via Unilocal and took my kitty, Emma, to get her nails trimmed. She’s a former feral and extremely skittish, so there’s no way I was going to cut her nails myself. Julie is like the cat whisperer. Emma just sat still and behaved and the whole thing was done in a minute.
The place is so welcoming, too! Very cute décor and a home-​like feel. She goes out of her way to make sure her furry clients are comfortable.
I also recently hired Julie to cat-​sit while I was away for Christmas. It was short notice but she was more than happy to do it, and her prices are much less than every other pet-​sitting business I’ve seen. She sent photos of my kitties to my phone to keep my mind at ease, and I came home to happy, healthy love bugs.
Julie cares deeply about the welfare of cats and she’s probably one of the only people I’d trust to come into my apartment and care for my babies.

Just brought out cat here for a lion cut. Service and prices were great! Most importantly, out cat came home happy, and got a great cut! Will definitely be back.

I have a 7 year old Mainecoon who badly needed a summer lion cut. It was so easy to book an appointment here! The owner was very collaborative with me and soothing with my cute furball. A really convenient location and prices that can’t be beat! I’m incredibly pleased and impressed. Thank you :-)

I recently took my cat in for a Lion’s cut. After calling a few places, Feline Fancy was not only very reasonably priced but was also able to fit my cat in that week. Other places were 2x more expensive and could only take appointments during the week at inconvenient hours.
On Sunday I dropped off my slighted matted cat off and picked up a perfectly groomed and fresh smelling one within an hour and a half!
I particularly like how they cater to cats, no barking dogs to further distress the cats. This will definitely become my go to groomer!

Could not be happier with Feline Fancy! Julie was recommended to me by my local vet. I take my cat, Lucy, 2 – 3 times a year for a lion clip. Lucy is such a demon and can’t stand being groomed but Julie is so good with her. Her prices are reasonable and the overall feel of her storefront is very homey. I highly recommend!

Love bring my cat Rocky to Julie — he is a Maine Coon and is prone to mats, Julie does a perfect job of making him look beautiful again! I am so glad that i have found this place as Julie is wonderful with him and truly cares about her clients and is very flexible with time and making appointments. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Julie is AMAZING! I’ve taken my cat, Oscar, to her before and he always comes back looking fantastic and only mildly traumatized (mainly because of the car ride).
Recently he got outside and had a blast in the woods. When he came home he dropped a couple ticks and I freaked out! His fur is so thick I’d never be able to find any more on him.
I called Julie and she squeezed me in to her schedule for the next day! Any other groomer you talk to would make you wait at least a week, but she always finds a way to make things work!
At my paranoid insistance she gave Oscar a «lion cut» and made sure he was pest free. Even though he was a total pain in the butt the entire time, hissing and swiping, she handled him with care.

Julie was excellent! Shes super nice and friendly and her prices are really cheap. and that doesnt mean she did bad At All! My cats came out looking wondeful. I always need to have one kitty put under anesthesia. She was able to shave her lion cut style without it! My girls look great thanks to her and normally i would pay at least 200 sometimes more and here i only paid 120! You wont be let down by julie! Thanks again!

My cats are nervous types when it comes to veterinary services and I’ve never been able to give them a good bath without sedation. Julie did a wonderful job shaving and bathing my cats and they came home happy and loving, not scared and sulking as grooming usually does to them.
She really knows how to handle cats and I would recommend her above anyone else for your cat’s grooming needs!
