I bought a Groupon for 2 pedicures with salt scrub and a 15 min hot oil massage for my boyfriend and myself. I made appointments for 1 pm wanting them for 2 pm but the woman insisted on 1 pm. I thought it would be a nice Valentine’s day experience. When we arrived, no one acknowledged us for 10 minutes and when they did they told us it would be a half hour wait. They didn’t end up taking us in until after 2 pm. So what was the point of making an appointment in the first place? They put us in our chairs and left us there for another 15 minutes. By the time someone came over, our water was cold. The woman started my boyfriend’s pedicure first and was extremely unfriendly and rough. Did not even speak to him. The woman that did mine was nice enough however I was very rushed the whole time. We both were. Not the relaxing experience expected and described on the website. I had to ask the receptionist to put a top coat on my toes since the manicurist did not and you could see the brush strokes and bumps. My boyfriend was originally a little happy because he thought she fixed an ingrown toenail that had been bothering him… until we got home. Both his big toes were covered in blood and he had cuts all along the sides of his foot from her scrubbing so hard. His feet have been sore for 3 days now. Very disappointed.

Waste of money. I got a mani/​pedi yesterday and my nails have already chipped and my pointer fingers have completely peeled off. Didn’t last a day. The technician was new and didn’t know where everything was (she was very nice) and didn’t provide the full service. I tried it because of a groupon but won’t be returning. I now have to redo my nails. If I could give negative stars, I would. I think they thin out their nail polish as I saw one technician pouring remover into a polish bottle.

Honestly if I could rate this place zero stars I would. My friend and I went into this place to get just a manicure each, they have you sign in before starting. So they had us each sit and started with her. There was a lot of employees there that day, and the seven people that came in after me were helped before I was. Sat there for a good 20 minutes with some of the techs just looking at me. Really debated leaving. Finally the tech Danny comes over and is obviously in a pissy mood. Pretty sure the first rule in customer service is to be kind but whatever. My nails came out okay but he made them very short after I asked him not to. Started chipping that same night. Will not be returning. My friend also had a poor experience. Note to the staff, smiling never killed anyone.

If you close at nine and I come in at 745. I still expect the service you provide for customers during all other times of the day. I went in here just the other night with a friend (the same friend who I got extensions with at iSpa)
— The people here are normally just bareable to me. I dont care if you speak vietnamese, I really dont. But i dont appreciate you complaining about the fact that I came in too close to closing time when you close at 9. I got there 1.15 hour before closing. What is the problem. My manicurist was Loan. She was completely rude. She did a horrible job with my gel manicure. The way she painted was towards the side and there are textural bumps towards the tips of my nails where it feels ridiculous, as if my nails had a speed bump on them, lol.
— In addition to that, I know they were trying to get us to take up the offers of other services. There was only me and Loan and Danny (the other tech) and my friend that were being serviced in the area close to the waxing stations. I understand that you want tips and what not but dont tell me my eyelashes look «like they need to be fixed as ‘they not enough hair, add some more, longer, prettier.» Seriously. No comment.
— I would also warn you to stay away from the eyelash extension services from this place. I went last time and the lash tech took 20 minutes to do extensions for my friend and I. In the end they looked good but it didnt last very long and we couldn’t get the extensions off even when we tried remedies as well as the lash glue remover. I ended up pulling my lashes out, ouch i know, but they looked really bad because they werent glued aligned .
Honestly, I gave this a chance several times because I can’t find a place that I am really fond of, but after my experiences here I will not come back.

Literally the LEAST relaxing pedicure I’ve ever had. The girl doing my nails was in such a rush she actually tripped as she was running to get something mid-​pedicure. Her name started with An… I can’t remember the rest of it. But she was obviously in a rush and it wasn’t even that busy. I’ve come here a few times for pedicures but this was my last. My friend I went with wanted to use a coupon and the girl argued with her saying there was no such deal, until my friend showed her the coupon and she was like «…oh.» AND usually I’m offered a complimentary beverage, but this time I was not.
Oh! And she asked if I wanted me feet scrubbed (you know how they remove the tough skin) and when I said yes she told me it was an additional $ 7. WTF?! I thought that was PART of a pedicure?! I’ve never had to pay extra before for that.
Never. Again. Sorry iSpa, but pedicures should be a relaxing experience.

This place is horrible. I went here twice because i worked at the mall. The first time i got a french with gel polish on my acrylics. Literally 2 days later they all turned yellow! And i dont smoke or go tanning. The second time i went for a fill the girl cut my nails way too short and made my acrylic so thick and uneven. I went back later that night to see if someone could fix them and the owner was like well whats wrong with them? Didnt even want to fix them for me! Never ever again!

My wife comes here when she needs her nails done in a fix. The service provided is decent. It looks clean and open however just like all bad nail salons the smell is very potent! They don’t care. They have a decent menu of services. Still as always like all nail salons they are rude. Goes with the territory.

Horrible!!! Honestly this place needs to be shut down. My nail chipped and I needed to repair it. I walked in here and it looked really nice inside and they seemed very eager to help.
My sister was getting a pedicure and I began to look for a color that matched what I had… Then the owner comes over all pissy and reprimands us like children because we’re not supposed to touch the colors…
Okay… No biggie (but if you don’t want people to touch the colors why would you have them out?) ok so I sit to have my one nail done and these people were so cold, and mean and RUDE! Speaking to one another in a language that we can’t understand.
No form of customer service what so ever! They charged me 7 dollars for one damn nail!!! ONE?! If a regular gel mani is 30 dollars wouldn’t it be about 3 dollars per nail???
I paid for the nail and left no tip! Oh and they actually had signs up all over the salon asking people to review them on Unilocal… HERE’S YOUR REVIEW! Stay away from this place!

I was so looking forward to getting my nails done as part of my really close friends bachelorette party. I was sorely disappointed! After reading all the other reviews, I really wish I had asked my manicurist to not cut my cuticles, she cut them too much and ended up cutting my finger and when I asked her to stop she kept on cutting until I pulled my hands away.
Apparently her English wasn’t very good. I kept getting told it was no big deal but they kept putting rubbing alcohol on a cut. The end result it was a big deal TO ME. I have never EVER been cut getting a manicure before.
What took the cake for me was that when the bleeding finally stopped she actually painted the blood in my gel. REALLY? I was given the chance to take it off but they told me the acetone would hurt worse than the alcohol on the cut so I left it and will just deal.
I complained so much I got a free manicure but it was not worth it at all.

Worst place ever ! My nails looked like a 5 yr old did them, actually a 5yr old PROB could have done better never going back again

I generally only write good reviews but I was so aggravated by the crappy manicure I got this weekend I had to write a review to warn people to avoid this place.
I went there this past Saturday. At first a woman sat down to start my nails but then suddenly got up and said something to Mr. T (That’s what his name tag said). He took her place and she went into a back room. He explained that she said she was too tired to do another manicure today so he took her place.
I had some old nail polish on my nails that he didn’t remove. Then he realized it was there and only removed some of it. He REALLY hurt me when he filed my nails and pushed my cuticles back. Then he rushed through painting my nails and kept getting distracted and getting up to do other things or have conversations. He finished it off with a «yay sparkles! all done!» and sent me on my way to the nail dryer.
As my nails dried I gave them a better look. There was polish all over my fingers, and the polish on my nails wasn’t neatly done either. I could’ve done a better job myself. Today is Monday, just about 48 hrs after my manicure, and my nails are chipping and peeling.
I will never set foot in there again and I recommend going anywhere else but iSpa for a manicure or pedicure.

This place was a mess. I walked in and was told to sign in and pick my color. I stood at the front for about 10 mins color in hand and another employee told me to sign in again… They sit my down And no one came over for another 15 minutes. This was hands down the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. She wasn’t even paying attention while she was doing my toes.
They charge $ 7 extra to have them remove rough skin from the bottom of your feet??? Isn’t that part of the pedicure?! My toe nails are un even because she wasn’t even looking at my feet while she filed them. She rushed and they came out terrible.
I really thought this place was going to be nice. I will never go back. So disappointed.

Very clean and big salon, I was talked in a pedi with the 10 minute massage it was fun and I would come back if I’m in the area…
I came back for the second time and got a gel mani it came out the way the wanted, a guy painted my nails. I don’t know why so many people walk out unhappy at this salon, never happened to me. (I took off a star because I did feel rushed)

I have to give iSpa ³⁄₅ stars because going there is a mixed bag. I just went in on Tuesday and the place was empty. It was great. I wasn’t offered anything to drink, but that was fine.
Other times that I’ve been here, I’ve been skipped by several people who came in after me. When I complained to the boss (I think), she ripped into the other employees repeatedly as she personally did my nails. This place is pretty notorious for skipping people.
The last time I got a pedicure, the woman laughed at me when I told her I wanted my gel pedicure removed. Then she got a friend and they both laughed and pointed at me while she removed the gel from my feet. Lord knows what they were saying, but they were both so rude, I wanted to leave right then and there. I thought it was strange that they made fun of the fact that I had a gel pedicure when I got it done at THEIR salon! Tsk, tsk!

Uhmmmm so I was really looking forward to go to this place. It seemed so peaceful and relaxing, but my experience wasn’t as I dreamed.
I really like the ambiance, decoration, music and the lighting, perfect for a Spa.
I went with a groupon for a shellac manicure and 5 mts neck message.
I went in and they attended me right away to register me, but said there were no massage.
The wait time was about .45 mts and it really was that wait time. However, someone call me and brought me in and then I waited for about 20 mts more. Then someone else grabbed me and started the manicure but it seemed that he was the administrator because he was registering people and making calls while doing my shellac manicure. The table wasn’t ready, the UV lights weren’t working and he was barely paying attention to me. I felt so rushed. Then when my nails were drying he went onto do the massage on my neck/​shoulders.
The WORST ever massage I ever had :(I left with a shoulder pain that lasted for several days. My shellac manicure was all messy and was pealing off very quick.
I’m so disappointed of this place. I expected so much more because of the price and how they place looks.

iSpa is a very sanitary and modern salon that does nails, facials, waxings and massages. At times they are extremely busy considering it is inside South Shore Plaza so I advise to book an appt ahead of time. Everyone is professional and extremely kind, I’ve never had a problem with customer service at iSpa. If you want a great eyebrow/​lip/​Brazilian wax just ask for Jo or Loan. They are both very pleasant and the fastest if you want a quick and painless waxing experience! Linda is great at manicures, only took twenty minutes for a gel manicure that came out great. I’ve also gotten a full set with gel polish from Linda, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ service and quality. Overall I was satisfied with the service and quality. I would definitely recommend iSpa.

I raved about this place 8 months ago. I have gone there at least 10 times since and they disappoint me more and more each time. I always go for a gel manicure and once in awhile pedicures.
Let’s start off with service, they haven’t offered me a beverage the past few times I’ve gone in like they used to. They are also not as friendly and I can feel they’re just rushing to get work through even though it’s NOT BUSY at all. I understand it’s all about the hustle but I can tell when a manicurist doesn’t even care and just throws on the gel.
The work is horrible. The last gel manicure I got, one of my nails chipped THE NEXT DAY! Ridiculous! And then the gel just peel right off in the next few days. If I’m paying $ 30 for a gel manicure I expect it to last at least 2 weeks. I could barely get through the first week and was already irritated about the durability of my nails.
Your service and work has declined and I can tell you don’t appreciate my business so I will be taking it elsewhere!

I have been here a few times. Manicures were OK. I went last week and there were a few chips and bubbles I noticed so I went back 3 days later for a fix which they advertise that they will do. Initially they seemed so great about it, and even said they would do it all over. However, I asked if I could do another color with a design (which I would pay for).
They were complaining and saying I HAD to go with my original color. Not to mention they kept speaking amongst themselves with a few English words here and there so I could clearly get the point it was about me! I decided not to allow Mr. T to get in trouble so I offered to pay for the new color as well as the design. The design I asked for is a snowflake. Honestly, a 2yr. old could do better.
They made ME feel so bad, like it was my fault! Very rude staff.

She was very thorough with my eyebrows and put pressure on the skin after removing the wax to alleviate the soreness. Perfect eyebrows. Thank you.
I just wish it didn’t take 25 min for waxing, but I would go again to her.
