Don’t bother. If you’re smart enough to Unilocal this, then you know what to do. I went off of Miles review here, and that was a mistake; maybe he’s someone’s brother who owns the place.

I don’t know why this place has only 2 stars. This place has some of the best food I’ve come across

racist staff. Serves black people who cut in line instead of white folk. Gave them back their food and left,

I went to get a sample to see if I would like the food. The woman passing out samples was very rude to me and my roommate even though he always eats there. With the very poor customer service and her very bad attitude, I would recommend any place else.

Certainly the best food/deal in the food court. Get the lo mein and either pad thai or curry noodles and the tofu(if you’re vegetarian). Ask for hot sauce on the side. The eggplant is cooked rather nicely, all roasted and soft and yummy. Worth it if you’re there and need a meal. Try to stay away from sitting by the kiddy area, blargh.

Rudest staff I’ve ever seen. One lady even gave me the hand wave as if to say, «forget you». Never again even if I was starving.

More sugar than a donut. Yikes. I ordered the spiciest item on the menu, and it was so sweet, like eating sugar soup. Is this what thai food in america has become? Chinese or hispanic cooks who just put sugar in everything.

Quick service and healthy portions($ 8 for a meal and a drink). The mango chicken is on point! The rice was a little dry, but that’s probably just because they cook a huge tray of it and serve that until they run out – and they were almost to the end of the tray. Overall it was good, and that mango chicken makes me want to go back!

Delicious yellow curry chicken stew with white chicken & lg hunks of cooked potato and carrots. Basil Beef is really good too along with the Spicy Chicken. I don’t order any of the«sweet sauced, breaded» dark meat or beef as I find it gross but the noodles are okay paired with the meat & veggie creations that again are not the breaded gross stuff. Not super authentic, but for $ 8, it’s better than all the other Asian options in the food court & most of the sit down traditional Chinese or thai around. Good value.

The food court at the South Shore Plaza has a number of the usual Asian fast food chains — Master Wok, Sarku, Bourbon Street Cajun Café and Grill. Ruby Thai Kitchen drew my attention as I haven’t seen a Thai fast food joint. While everyone is having you sample their General’s chicken, teriyaki chicken or bourbon chicken, Ruby Thai Kitchen was sampling their mango chicken! Not a huge difference in flavor from the rest but they had a choice of Thai fried rice, Thai angel hair noodles or Pad Thai noodles. We tried the Thai angle hair noodles, Pad Thai noodles, mango chicken and curry(masaman) chicken. I have never seen masaman curry on any fast food menu! Both noodles were very good and not at all dry. The mango chicken was delightful and the masaman curry had the right mixture of coconut milk and curry seasoning to blend the chicken and vegetables nicely. Since it is fast food, it’s hard to give a rating higher than 3 since there is no waiter service or ambiance but this place is a keeper for us!

I got excited since it was not the run of the mill mall food choice, but in the end, it was mall food. The Pad Thai was pretty flavorless, the mango chicken was pretty much orange chicken/sesame chicken, and the barbecue pork was much like Panda Express. The wonton noodle bowl was actually quite good, I wish the wontons were a little better. One star for being mall food, two stars for at least being outside the box.

For mall food, it’s not bad, not great, but not bad, Their Pad Thai had no substance to it, but good flavor, Shrimp is good like the other Unilocaler had stated. Spring rolls is a tad bit oily, & I need brush my teeth after the Mango chicken, way too sweet. Their noodle soups bowls aren’t half bad, wish we can mix it up a bit. I am so glad I can finally get Thai Ice Tea to go. All and all it is Mall Fast food.

Ok, in all fairness, this is food court food. I work close by, so I have tried it a few times now. The first few times were not bad– Not good either, but not bad for food court food. My most recent experience was just awful. I realize that Mall Thai food is not going to be like a real Thai restaurant, but a close, Americanized approximation is all I am looking for when at the mall. My last experience has left me with awful flashbacks, however. I ordered the yellow curry chicken and another spicy curry dish, I can’t even remember what they were trying to pass it off as. The sauces were good. The meat however, was absolutely horrific. I expect breast meat in Thai curry dishes. What I got was not white meat. I am not even sure what kind of meat it was. It was strangely colored and had an awful texture. I am guessing it was some sort of dark meat trying to be disguised as white meat, but it was not fooling anyone, especially me. I could not even eat the meat. I picked out the vegetable and ate the noodles it was served with. I have vowed to never ever ever eat there again after this last experience. I wish I could give it a half a star. Eat at your own risk.

The food is awful. It tastes like someone took Cantonese food, added food coloring, and dumped sugary glaze all over everything. Absent are the familiar tastes of coriander, cilantro, curry, and hot peppers that are normally the themes of good Thai food. If you like Thai food, you won’t find it here.

Why do they dumb down the food? This is Americanized Thai food. Pushy employees. I told him I was in the South Shore Plaza food court to have something small and cheap(I had already eaten half a dinner at home, was still hungry). He suggested the combination plate that came with rice or noodles plus 2 other things for $ 5.89. How does that make sense? I ended up with noodles plus barbecued Thai chicken for $ 4.89. It was really too much food for me. I think he could have suggested something off the menu in the three to four dollar range. If you just want to separate me from my money you will suffer the consequences on Unilocal
