History

Established in 1978.

The Law Firm of Ullian & Associates P.C. was established by Attorney Leonard Ullian in 1978. In 1984 his son, John, joined the law firm, and they practiced together for over 25 years until Leonard Ullian passed away in January 2010. John Ullian now continues to provide legal services at his firm, The Law Firm of Ullian & Associates, P.C.

In January 2012, the firm welcomed Boston University School of Law graduate Pamela Selvarajah as a new associate. Pamela focuses her practice in the areas of bankruptcy, divorce, litigation, and school law.

Meet the Business Owner

John U.

Business Owner

John Ullian received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan, his law degree from University of Toledo Law School, a Masters in Education from Northeastern University, and obtained his Doctorate in Education from Boston University. In 1984, John joined the law firm his father, Leonard Ullian, started in 1978 to focus on bankruptcy law, divorce and domestic relations matters, litigation and school law. Today, John runs the Law Firm of Ullian & Associates, P.C., and is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Florida.

John teaches school law at Boston University and Special Education Law at Simmons College. Previously he had been an instructor at Northeastern University for over 20 years in the paralegal program. He was appointed as a board member and served as an arbitrator with the Massachusetts Bar Association Legal Fee Arbitration Board, and was elected to the Needham School Committee in 1998.
