The Grit Academy offers quality education and childcare for children ages 6 weeks — 13 years of age in a loving and nurturing environment.
All of our teachers are certified and are CPR and First Aid certified as well. Our hours are from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm with extended hours available from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. We serve nutritious, homemade meals prepared on site in our own kitchen. We also offer summer camp, with a pool on premises for both swimming and private group lessons. We are a Grow NJ Kids school and follow The Creative Curriculum, STEM and the state standards for Early Childhood Education. We educate the whole child, with kindness and love, addressing all learning styles and needs. Meet the Manager
Terri C.
Manager
Long time educator, Terri Crosbie, is the Director of The Grit Academy.
Terri holds Preschool through 8th grade teaching certification with the State of NJ. Her love of children, her strong Early Childhood teaching experience and her administrative expertise benefit The Grit Academy staff and children greatly. Terri has devoted her life to giving young children the best education there is to offer. She has been a professional in the Early Childhood world for over 30 years and her experience and knowledge is a great asset to our school.
Terri greatly believes in an open door policy and is always available to our parents and strives to create a warm and loving community within our school.
