History
Established in 1933.
In 1926, a locationprophetic real estate classified ad appeared in the Chicago Tribune that read:
‘Attention salesmen, sales managers: location, location, location, close to Rogers Park.‘
While Branchport, NY isn’t quite Chicago’s Rogers Park, a mere 7 years later, and just
weeks after the repeal of prohibition, the Blue Eagle Tavern established its location that
has served hungry hunters, thirsty travelers and congregating locals for more than 78
years.
The Blue Eagle Tavernis about to fly once again, capitalizing on location, location,
location, and of course, its legacy as one of the most history-basked food and liquor establishments in Central NY.
After a short closure stemming from the untimely death of a former owner, this business and operations plan sets forth the new owner’s
objectives to not only reopen and continue the 78 year history, but to take the Blue Eagle to new heights with expanded reach, to more
clientele, with a higher quality product.
