Brandon Pizzeria

Our new fave place to stop for pizza on a Friday night! Not only is the staff friendly, the restaurant feels like the types of mom and pop places I used to eat at when I was a kid. I had all the kids and cousins in the car and it was pouring rain one day when I went in to pick up an order and take it home. The gentleman at the counter was so helpful, he even took the boxes out to my car for me so I didn’t have to struggle with getting all kids out of the car and back in again. I love the white pizza although the rest of my family likes the traditional cheese or meat. (More for me!) The pizzas are a good size and price is comparable to what we’ve seen other places. I happen to like the crust better here than some other nearby neighbors (so do my sons!).

Pizza was good — really liked the crust and the toppings and sauce were flavorful. Not a fan of paper plates with pizza or of styrofoam cups for our drinks, but we’ll probably do take out or delivery again.

Love this place! Pizza by the slice or a whole pie. I wish they had more craft beers — especially since we have so many local from which to choose. Even if canned or bottled — would work for me. This has become the Saturday lunch place after garage sale-​ing around Brandon. The pizza is always fresh and tasty. Cheese is our favorite. UPDATE: Brandon Pizzeria will soon have Cigar City beer for us to enjoy. What a way to make your patrons happy! Kudos to father and son owners. You Rock.

How the hell did it take me 2 years of living here until I finally found this place. The pizza is straight NYC style. Huge slices and taste so good.
Tonight was my first time ordering, got a pizza and some hot wings. Both were incredible. I cannot wait to eat from this place again. Hands down the best pizza spot in Brandon. Forget the chains, hit this place up!!!

Yum, yum, yum. It’s soo good. The best beer bang for buck period. Love this! Great friggin food and bangin as beer for the low. I love Yuengling so it’s right up my alley

By far the best pizza and atmosphere outside of Brooklyn!
Jim keeps his team focused on the customer and the food is incredible. We will most definitely be back!

I wish I could give it more than three stars, but I can’t. The pizza really wasn’t anything spectacular. They were less than generous with the toppings (skimpy at best). The service was good and the prices reasonable. I’m still on the hunt for a really good pizza in Brandon.

Sicilian pie with extra cheese is to die for! Best pizza in Brandon! The service was great and my kids loved the server!
UPDATE: Did I mention they have an APP you can get that keeps you up to date on lunch specials and future events too!

Philly and meat pizza awesome! Eat here 2 or 3 times a month, beats big chain guys, wings much better than other places as well

Add in the fact that they give back to the community and especially Brandon wrestling makes this place a winner.
I had never been here until after the state wrestling tournament (Which Brandon once again won) and was completely impressed. The best pizza and wings I have had in Florida the 6 years I have been here. They have become part of our rotation of places to eat.

I was a first time customer tonight. The customer service was Fantastic on the phone. When I arrived I got to shake the owners hand, he introduced himself and was very friendly. I am Loving my Pepperoni and extra cheese pizza. I definitely will have to try a calzone and some wings in the future.

Came to Brandon pizza with my mom and brother while in Tampa visiting. I was seriously craving pizza, so I looked to good olé’ Unilocal to help me out. Brandon Pizzeria was by far the highest rated pizza joint, so we had to check them out.
We were seated immediately and received our drinks quite quickly as well. We had a really hard time deciding what we wanted to order, so we told our waitress to give us another minute. She gave us like 15 minutes. It took forever to get her back to our table. It seemed that she was covering most of the tables in the restaurant, so I will chalk it up to her being very busy.
We decided on a 14″ Buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese, and an 18″ create your own pizza. For the create your own we did half pepperoni, and half sausage, mushroom, and black olives. It took a pretty long time for our food to come out. This was quite unfortunate because I was starving. Once our food did come out, we immediately stuffed our faces.
The pizza wasn’t bad. I preferred the pepperoni to the buffalo chicken. The pepperoni was only really good when I put a ton of parm, granulated garlic and red pepper flakes all over it. The pepperoni crust also got a little soggy after a while (i.e. the slice flopped down upon picking it up). My mom loved her half of the 18″ (sausage, mushroom, and black olives), but she also doesn’t eat pizza as often as I do.
We have way more pizza choices in South Florida, not so much in Brandon. So since this was one of few options, I will say that my experience was A-​Ok.

I recently catered a dinner for 40 people with Brandon Pizzeria and the food was awesome! Jim and James took care of all the details from the first call to the delivery which was right on time and nice and hot! My family and I are originally from New York and we’re very particular about our Italian food and Brandon Pizzeria did not disappoint! We had lasagna, ziti, chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatballs, salad and the garlic knots — all dishes were excellent! Our guests kept asking, «Where did you get this from?» and I was very happy to say, «Right here in Brandon at Brandon Pizzeria!»

Very good subs arrived hot and fries and onion rings where still hot highly recommend will order again.

Decent pizza in the Brandon area. We had a large cheese pizza and the crust was good. The garlic rolls were decent but definitely could have been more buttery. The salad was very basic.

I have recently moved to the area and have ordered from here 3−4x’s in the last few weeks, and have yet to be disappointed. Their pizza is typical for the Bay Area, but their wings are crispy, not to big and certainly not chewy. Their chicken parm & eggplant rottilini is really good too! I was surprised to have such good meals from a pizzeria like that. The food always arrives hot and friendly. This place is definitely one of the best!

It reminds me of the pizzerias I grew up with back in NY and NJ.
The food was great. It has that classic NY/​NJ pizza taste and texture. It is definitely better than 90% of the pies I have eaten down here. It goes really well with the sauce for dipping. The sauce is one of the best I tasted since I left the North east. Their deserts are delicious as well. I had the zeppeli.
The service was very attentive. This pizzeria does better than most restaurants.
The place was very clean. It has enough seating for large groups. There are even some classic arcade games in the back.
I really like this place. Not just for the food but for he fact that it brings me back to a happier and simpler time.

Visited and was pleased at the «family» feel of the place. My children were trilled to play a retro video game «Pac Jr». the food was tasty and very reasonable.

It never ceases to amaze me that a place like this will start off really great and then slide down the road to mediocrity. This is just what has happened here. It opened up and was spectacular and now, just average. Very good crust, not enough sauce, canned mushrooms (this should be a crime) and weird tasting black olives. Very sad. I loved their pizza but now I think not. The anti-​pasta salad was pedestrian, tasted ok but a bunch of iceberg lettuce topped with cheese, salami and pepperoni, sigh.
The service remains very good as the staff is attentive.
I’m hoping this was an off night not the new norm. Pulling it down 2 stars, it’s just ok now.
