Okay here it goes. The service, meh, I’ve had better. BUT, oh my goodness, this man is magical. I went to four different places and got the hand — my $ 750 shoes were basically in ruins. After a few skeptical looks, the man told me he thinks he can fix it. Let me tell you — he and I shared the same opinion. After a few days, I was amazed by what this Asian man did for my shoes and my hope for humanity. I wish I could’ve given seven stars. This. Place. Is. Amazing… nuff said.

I dropped by the other day to have a pair of Prada shoes looked at. The leather on one of my shoes was starting to wear faster than the other. Because of the brand, I was nervous I might mess them up if I tried to polish them myself.
The gentleman in the back came out and took one look at it and said «I’m sorry, but I can’t fix that, it’s general wear on the leather, and the best thing you should do is polish it with shoe polish.» He said any upper end brand of polish will work and we said our thank you’s and I left.
I decided to write this review because I sincerely appreciated his honesty. He could have taken my shoes and charged me up the rear end to simply polish my shoes. He didn’t and declined to service them because it was the right thing to do for a potential customer. When I have a pair of shoes that need more servicing than a general polish, I will visit him again.

I am so thankful for this place! I brought in some black leather dress shoes that were in some really bad shape, with holes in soles and leather peeling off the back. The lady was very helpful and knowledgeable. She offered me either a half sole or full sole. When I came back to pick up my shoes they were in pristine condition.

After 3 attempts at going to a shoe repair shop in Tampa without success, I was desperate and just found this one. And I am thankful that I did! It looks a little sketch, but they did a good job in repairing my heels. I wasn’t greeted with a friendly hello, but I’ll let that slide because she went straight to business. And her business is good.

I am in from out of town and needed a couple of shoes desperately looked at before heading back to California. Where to go… where to go?
Upon a Google search there it is, Brandon Shoe Repair and Alteration. Just off of the Highway 60, behind the Burger King is a little house-​like place where the magic happens. It doesn’t look like much, but MUCH happens here!
My Prada boots and Gucci heels were in need of some serious help. Brought them in and hours later they look brand new.
I docked a star because the woman quoted one price over the phone, another in person-​which I will give to her since she didn’t realize the extent needed on the repairs-​but when picking them up in person she said it was even more expensive because until her husband actually looked at the shoe they didn’t realize all of the damage. I don’t think she was being tricky, but after saying she’s been doing this for 20 years, I’d think she would know the price after examining the boots and shoes. I was NOT charged the extra amount.
Still, at the end of the day it was $ 65 to repair $ 1700 worth of shoes. WAAAAAY better than having to replace them!
It’s like having brand new shoes and boots. Makes me a Happy Heather.
