Nelson’s Cleaners & Laundry

What a horrible laundry place. I left my 7×7 rug. It’s huge, and circular, and heavy. I called them to make sure they would take it and they said ‘yes ofcourse’. It would be done in 3 days. If it wouldn’t be ready they would call. No call, so I went there to pick it up, and it wasnt ready. They lied and said they had tried to reach me. Bullshit! And then they said, «it will be done in 2 days, we promise!» I went there, and it was folded and put in my car, and I smelled it, and it’s still SUPER DIRTY (i have dogs and cats that have been doing their business on it) I was like, wtf?! and we were about to move 1.5hrs out of brandon so they said that they would fix it ASAP. Wash it «again». Then I was super busy with moving for 2 weeks, and I went there yesterday to pick it up. STILL NOT WASHED. AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT BACK TO ME WITHOUT CHARGING ME $ 150. They said «you have to go to our boss, it’s a couple miles away». Seriously? I have to drive to your boss? Pick up the phone and call him yourself, I said. They did and the boss said to give me my UNWASHED RUG BACK for free. Horrbile customer service, rude, and don’t do their job for sure.

OK, so i decided to try these guys out as they are right around the corner from my office. Buyer Beware! $ 7.00 to dry clean one pair of pants? While I appreciate the same day service, this by far and away is the most expensive dry cleaner I’ve been to in Tampa, much less Brandon. Fool me once…
