The Branson Landing

This is a tradition my extended family (my In-​Laws) started years ago, and is a fun time. We walk the boardwalk and the river walk, and eat at White River. We enjoy the shops, although they are pricey. The water and fire show is always fun to watch. Have not done the zip line (mainly because I’m not a fan of heights). My advise to anyone going there is: where a good pair of shoes, and steer clear of Joe’s Crab Shack, it’s a joke. Old Chicago, and White River are your two best bets for food. My wife’s Grandma always want to go to Belk after walking, and personally, I think they are way over priced. All in all though, it’s fun for the whole family and a great way to spend an afternoon (and that week’s paycheck to be honest, lol).It’s worth the drive from Springfield.

We love the shopping center. Great shops. Beautiful set up and the water shows are every hour!

A very nice river walk with shops. This is river walk that have the Famous Dave BBQ restaurant that I like. The Branson landing is located on east side of town. It is very crowded during daytime. At the night after 9 pm, everything die off.
The shop is along both side of the mall Main Street — Branding Landing Blvd. The current outside temperature is great to walk along the mall Main Street. It has the dancing water fountain. Sometime it has fire ball on certain hour with up beat music. The mall also offer various service such as ballon to the top for bird eye view, shuttle service from one end to the other, zip lining to other side of river.
It also offer many restaurant to choose from. Including the white river fish house on the barge house. Famous Dave also one of the restaurant in the strip. Both end of the mall has parking so don’t park far away in the city.

If visiting Branson for the first time, make this your first stop. The Landing is a great place to get feel for what is available, and get assorted tourist information/​coupon books. There is also a FREE trolley that will shuttle you to around to different points of interest in the downtown Branson area.

Every time we are in Branson, we make sure to hit up the Landing as there is something for everyone there.
There are a ton of restaurants that fit into every genre of eating as well as shops galore. There is always a light show at the fountain that plays every day. Live music adorns and its a family friendly environment.
If you’re looking for a place to stay, there are condos/​hotel rooms, etc above the shops and around the Landing that will allow for easy walking to and from.

We came to the Branson landing for the 3^rd of July fireworks show and it did not disappoint! We had such a great time! We didn’t even care that we had to wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes to eat at Cantina Laredo or the fact that there were literally thousands of other people with the same idea!
The fireworks show was soooo spectacular! It was kind of short… just 10 or 15 minutes long but sooo worth it. I mean YOLO RIGHT? ;)
Oh and after the show, a live band played a couple songs and the fountains and flames kind of popped up with the music. You could feel the heat from the flames which was so cool!
Highly recommend doing this!

Cool place to hang out if you want to shop, eat, walk the river (or is it a lake?), or ride a few baby thrill rides. Looks like they also have shows on occasion. In other words, fun for the whole family.

When it comes to family road trips, the magic word is: FREE. We go to window shop mainly and to see the awesome fire and water display that is scheduled every hour with music. Highly entertaining and free!

CAUTION if you go to the landing beware of Branson cops waiting for you to leave and charge you with DUI.

Had tons of fun shopping with our family today! Great after Christmas deals and all the store staff in the different shops went above and beyond. The fountain show was fun and the kids enjoyed it! Ate some good burgers there too! Probably my favorite place to shop in Branson!

Branson Landing is an outdoor mall complete with a number of stores and dining establishments all unique centered around a residential development along the riverfront. In addition to dining and shopping you can find a few entertainment options such as zip lining across the rivers. At night the landing transforms into an «entertainment district with water and light shows. Overall the shopping here was nothing too unique or anything you wouldn’t find at your local mall but it is a nice refreshing change of pace from the outlet mall.

Love this place, has every kind of shop, great selection of places to eat, lots of cool kiosks and a really neat water show that’s set to music! The atmosphere is relaxed, the stores are all nice and cold, and the whole area is super clean plus it’s right on the river, so if you get tired of shopping, you can watch the boats go by. The sit down zip line looked fun too, but never made it, too many shopping choices all with really good sales! Will definitely visit this place again on our next trip to Branson!
It is a great place for the whole family, with plenty of things to keep all ages busy and entertained!
Helpful hint: there were several great coupons for shops here on a big free map of Branson we found at Wendy’s.

A very pleasant shopping strip of stores alongside the river complete with dining options. A nice addition to downtown Branson, a little hectic to get at but the parking garage helps (pay). There are activities for the kids too — zip line, shooting gallery, fountain, photo booths, etc.

Good view, good food, good shopping. Heart of Branson.

Branson Landing is located directly along Lake Taneycomo. It is a scenic boardwalk with lots and lots of shopping, restaurants, Bass Pro Shop, a dinner cruise, and you and even Ride the Ducks. At the center of the boardwalk, is a gorgeous fountain that comes alive with fire, water, lights, and music.

Was not looking for retail therapy, just stopped off to get a ticket or two for Ride the Ducks, guess what season for many things you want to do has not occurred yet. The booth was closed so we had to go back down 76 and get the tickets. Shame on their advertising, we heard this over and over, until after Memorial Day much of what you want to do has not opened yet. Branson Tourism could disclose the same.
This mall was nice, would be more palpable if folks did not smoke and pollute the mall. Prices higher, exactly what you expect so no disappointment, staff in the stores all helpful, not much on sale, so not enticing. Great little kitchen store that pairs with anything Williams Sonoma has but might not fit in your luggage.
For SO that do not want to shop, massive amount of seating even in the shade. Very clean, not covered in security, parking was packed but no need to pay for it, just check schedules of the train as that takes a tremendous bite out of the parking and Main street has limited parking and pushes cars/​buses over to the mall.
Outdoor dining compensates for the cool weather, pleasant place to chill, no skate boarders, nasty graffiti, and yep boats a plenty, thanks Bass Pro Shop.

I know we are in the mountains, but we spotted this very city looking outdoor mall and felt like we were at home. Branson Landing outdoor mall is very beautifully designed. Upscale in their look and full of great little shops and anchor department stores. There’s Belk on one end, Bass Pro shops on the other, and many fun places in between. We had some of the best Mexican food ever here @ Cantina Laredo our first night as well as my new favorite food discovery, the BBQ chain Famous Dave’s.
A cute little surprise was the local talent shows performed y the tiny little ladies from the Branson Dance Academy. At one point, they performed in the square without music when power failed during their routine. It was fun to cheer them on as they showed real poise and continued on like little pro’s.
The one thing you should put on your MUST DO list while visiting Branson are the Bellagio-​style water fountain shows timed to different genre of music. It has a new display about every half hour at dusk and worth enjoying the cool evening weather while digesting a good meal from one of the nearby eateries.
It’s a beautiful mall and one could easily spend a nice afternoon or two here. We came almost every day during our vacation in Branson because we enjoyed it so much. Hope you do too!

My friend and I decided to kill some time and feed our shopping addictions (joke) and decided to check this place out. I was told that you will be bothered by people trying to sell you timeshares, but I was lucky enough not to be bothered.
I loved walking around the Landing and parusing the shops. There are numerous food places if you are hungry and also a Bass Pro, although not as cool as the Springfield one, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I do have to say that this was my first visit, and I was impressed with the choice of shops and also the lack of crowds. There is also a Hilton on site if you need somewhere to stay.
Overall, great visit, even if it was a first time. Can not wait to go back and do more damage!
