Houndstooth Grill and Tavern is a «classy casual» restaurant located near the beautiful golf community of Château Élan in Braselton. Our restaurant features a simple classic cuisine, an elegant, yet casual, atmosphere, and friendly attentive service. Our vision is to provide our guests with an affordable, memorable dining experience with fresh delicious food and beverages.
Warm, inviting, and family-friendly, Houndstooth Grill and Tavern has a casual atmosphere in an elegant setting. The main candle-lit dining room and bar feature gorgeous, locally hand painted murals which highlight the traditional English décor. The newly updated bar is located to the left of the dining room and is nice and private. Happy Hour is daily from 4:30PM until 7:00PM. Behind the bar is the beautiful banquet room that seats up to 50 guests; it is private with sliding doors and restroom. In addition, the large covered patio is perfect whether you’re on a romantic dinner for two or a fun, relaxing get together with family or friends.

Business Owner
Restaurant owner and operator Yanis Latsis purchased Houndstooth Grill and Tavern in April of 2014. Originally from Latvia, Yanis and his family emigrated to the United States in 1988 where he discovered his love for the restaurant industry and his passion for providing people with an affordable, memorable dining experience both inside and outside of the restaurant. Yanis is a community-minded owner who enjoys serving people all throughout the community through charitable organizations, schools, and churches.
With over 23 years of experience in the business, Yanis has done it all. He began his career as a dishwasher but quickly advanced through the years. Over the span of his career, Yanis has gained vast knowledge from his time as chef, kitchen manager, manager, operator, and owner. He has earned multiple awards throughout his career including the prestigious award of «Partner of the Year» for the last restaurant he worked for.
