Ramey’s Meats

My husband’s family has been going here for years. Now we do, too! We order carne and pollo once a year and have it shipped to us. Best damn marinade, meat is high quality and never tough. Getting meat from anywhere else is always a letdown.

My Boss brought me a bag of carne asada from Ramsey’s. I had never heard about this place before. It was in a sealed bag that had been frozen. I intended to make street tacos. I tried some before slicing it up. WOW! I ended up serving steak instead. By far the best I have ever had. Amazing!

Everything is fantastic… but I don’t care how silly this sounds… you are STUPID if you don’t buy as many hotdogs as you can afford or carry.

Tried their carne asada for the first time tonight and OMG WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE??? I feel like I just tasted beef for the first time. It was no kidding the most tender, juicy, and most flavorful piece of beef I have ever put into my mouth. I didn’t want to stop eating. Seriously, it was the frickin’ bomb dot com. My only beef (get it? hahaha) is that they aren’t closer to San Diego. Luckily I have family in the Imperial Valley who can hook me up. The whole world needs to experience Ramey’s. Next time I’m in the valley I’m totally having some carne shipped to my family in GA so they can experience how freaking crazy good it is. How anyone could be a vegetarian when there’s meat like this out there is seriously a mystery to me. OPEN A STORE IN SAN DIEGO PLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEE!!!

I consider myself a meat connoisseur, but the Carne Asada from these guys just blew my doors off. I’d post a picture but it disappeared too fast. My only regret is that I only bought four pounds of it, and I live over a hundred miles away.

This is the only place outside of Texas that I would buy my steaks from. They do custom cuts and have the highest quality meat around. Nothing beats a 1.75″ ribeye. Ask about their BBQ trays… Huge trays of meat already seasoned and ready to cook for a great price, could feed a small army.

Heck yes. 5 stars all the way. We have been ordering from Rameys for over 20 years. Hands down the best Carne asada. We moved along time ago but they shipped to us on dry ice! When friends come to visit we always pull out the Rameys carne asada. I’ve never had anyone tell me they didn’t like it… in fact they always ask where we got the meat! They only take cash or checks for locals just fyi. Well worth the prices.

Best carne aside I’ve ever had. Go there, buy a cooler full of meat and have a fiesta!!! Everything I’ve had here is awesome and we have made the drive all the way from Temecula and beyond just to get this stuff. WE love it so much we ration it and have it on special occasions. They also deliver!

So by now I have ordered meat from Rameys and have had several phone conversations with Dale to know these guys really know about beef. My orders are usually in the $ 100 range for the Carne Asada and everyone who tastes the meat wants to know what I did to it. I don’t give them details of course.
This is without a doubt some of the best carne Asada I have ever had and the service at Rameys is also great and personal. We need more places like this around.

This is the only carne asada you will ever want to eat again.
I once brought a suitcase of it to my boyfriend in Nebraska. Men tried to make fun of me for being the typical over-​packing woman when they saw my two suitcases. I was like, no fools, the big one is for my meat.
It’s so good it’s unreal. It’s like, did I just die and go to food heaven? Wait, that place is for real?! Food Heaven does exist! And it’s full of Ramey Carne Asada!!! You betta get on your knees and pray now, sucka, before you get sent to Food Hell where there is nothing to eat but raw kale.

The best asada ever. Their brats are good and sausage. Can’t wait to try their other offerings. I have tritip in the freezer waiting for a good BBQ day.

I have been getting my carne from them for over 20 years, you will never find any better. Both their beef and chicken is fantastic. I have tried their tri-​tip and their Rib eye, you will not find anything that compares.

There are no close competitors within 100 miles. By far the best meat in the imperial valley. From Custom cuts, to custom marinades, simply the best. Nobody beats their Rib Eye steaks.
Whether cooking for your family, or a major event they are up to the challenge.

Whenever I get assigned to the Imperial Valley, Ramey’s is a MUST. We grill tons at the hotel and I always take extra home.
The beef is perfectly marbled and from Brandt Farms which runs a pretty green farm. The beef melts in your mouth and has such… great…flavor. The marinated chicken thighs are fabulous… but the thing that always has me coming back for more are their sausages. They are all pork sausages with natural casing… which gives that wonderful *Snap!* when you bite into them. They are huge and come 4 to a pack.
Their potato & bacon ones taste like delicious breakfast. The Cajun Hot have reeeeally good heat. I also got beer brats made with shock top, and the southern spice ones that have a good bite as well.
BUY SOME. NOW… pick up some beers while you’re at it and grill, baby!

Awesome carne asada! We live in San Diego, but never buy it from any other meat shop! Too bad it’s so far :(

They have some excellent tasting beef jerky here, the best I’ve ever tasted. Next time, I am going to pick up some of their fresh and marinated beef products.

This is the best carne asada that you will ever come across in your lifetime! Words cannot describe how good this meat is… their tri-​tip is just as delicious, if not better than the carne… absolutely delicious… they also ship all over the world. this business is a small, family owned business and they are still «old-​school» in their customer service. They do not have a machine to pay with debit/​credit card as they don’t want to pass on that cost to their customers so, it’s either cash or check… I asked about bounced checks and the response was, «if you bounce a check, you will never get their meat again and after you taste it, you will want to come back for more.» Good motto!

great carne and pollo asada. the meat is always fresh and delicious. also, the building is real close to the express way so you dont have to drive thru the dirty town of brawley.

The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because I only buy once a year when we spend thanksgiving in Glamis. I buy here knowing I’ll get a fresh great quality Turkey the day before thanksgiving since RV refrigerators are to small to hold a frozen turkey. Always fast, friendly service. They just ask that you call and reserve the size you want so they have enough available. Plus they get about a hundred thousand campers out in Glamis so the stores sell out quick!

I don’t give 5 Star ratings easily, but there’s something to be said abut quality here.
I have been buying carne asada from Ramey’s for several years, and if it wasn’t the absolute BEST I’ve ever had, I wouldn’t be driving out my way…
I live in Phoenix, and every time I go to San Diego, I drive to Brawley and load up on carne asada and steaks. Reasonably priced and exceptional quality.
Did I mention how awesome the carne asada is!
