WE are a three bedroom, three private baths bed and breakfast located on the San Bernard river in southern Brazoria County. We offer many amenities, the most special is our gourmet breakfast. You can view our website at: Ros​esandtheRiver​.com.

History

Established in 1995.

This bed and breakfast was given to the owner in a dream. It is my soul’s calling and a rich one it has been. We are a place of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. There are many activities in the area; however, most of our patrons are making an effort to get away from activities and simply relax.

I loved this place. It’s hard to find great bed and breakfasts that are really close to home, with out going far, and still getting scenery.
Roses on the River has it!
The place is gorgeous with a beautifully done landscape job! Flowers EVERYWHERE!
The husband/​wife innkeepers are very nice and welcoming.
The place was very clean and country.
There is a really neat fairway in the backyard where we were able to do some fishing. The fairway is where the fresh water and gulf water meet.
Fishing was cool, and I don’t know if it was because of the water mix, we caught very interesting, looking fish.
The back was gorgeous. We were told that they hold weddings there.
NOTE: they do have an indoor dog and a few out door cats
Breakfast was great. Not just eggs and toast. We had cheese blintz’s and fruit and some sort of quiche. Yum.
If you are looking for a great romantic getaway, go here.
They charge 150 a night… but it’s really worth it.
