Brea’s Best Burgers

Pastrami was really good!!! Bread was soft and not greasy at all. must come back really soon.

Great burgers and the zucchini is awesome. I love the size they cut the zucchini and they give you a big side of ranch for dipping. Can’t be beat. Double bacon cheeseburger will fill you up for the whole day!

Utterly underwhelming double cheeseburger and fry combo ($ 8.10). Patties are spongy, over-​cooked and under-​seasoned. Fries got soggy fast and needed to be coated in salt to bring out any flavor. Proceed to In-​N-​Out and save yourself $ 3.00, your CFP will thank you. Restrooms available. Parking is tight. Service was unremarkable. Most misleading Unilocal experience ever. Why, Brea, why?

One of the best zucchini fries I’ve had around, don’t let it sit in the box for too long if you’re taking it to go. Anything with avocado is loaded with avocado! Great local spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Heck even breakfast, why not.

so glad i discovered this place. breakfast is very reasonable compared to other local breakfast joints. plus they have so many options. and if you want breakfast but your SO wants lunch, no problem!

This is a good burger joint. I really enjoy the double cheeseburger with chili fries on the side. Although it can get busy at times, the service is good and the food comes out quick.

I came here yesterday with my boyfriend and his friend. Last time that i came to Breas Best was some what five six years ago. Man, it was totally different! They kinda suck now. or idk theyre just whatever now, there’s nothing special about them. I was totally pissed too because i said no thousand island sauce like three times and they still put it on my burger. Not coming here again sadly.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars because it deserves it. The burgers are BOMB! The zucchini’s are AMAZING! I mean the food is just plain GOOD! It’s a perfect size for a big guy. Every time I eat here I leave FULL. I mean what else is there to say. You can’t get any better than this place and I’m from the hood. This place is BOMB! Not even expensive either! You get good amount of food for a dub ($ 20). It reminds me of food from ma hood. Cheep, good, and BIG ENOUGH! In the words of my childhood hero LaVar Burton (now you know how old I am) «DON’T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT».

As always wonderful service and food! On a new diet and can’t have everything on the salad, Jeffery was absolutely amazing, very patient and customized my salad for me and the cook made me an amazing salad. We’ve been coming here since 2003 and we keep coming back.

I haven’t eaten here in a few years and it was just as good as I remembered. Actually it might have been better. We got Bacon Avocado Burgers. They were huge and delicious! The produce was fresh and the meat was perfectly cooked. We shared some chilli cheese fries which were also on point. Come hungry the portions are generous and you can easily share the chilli cheese fries.

I got the avocado bacon cheeseburger & onion rings. The burger was SO HUGE! I was only able to finish half of the burger. The onion rings was also really good.
Definitely come to this burger place if you’re craving burgers.
Worth it.

I think my taste has changed recently, and I’m just not so much into this type of food. So maybe that’s why I’m rating this so low. But everything I got, and my friend’s food was really heavy/​greasy. I guess I don’t know what I expected out of a diner, but I think in this case it was just excessive.
Pros: The portions are huge, especially the sides
Cons: The food is mediocre and really greasy.

We made a random breakfast stop to Brea and picked up some breakfast burritos. My husband’s boss brought in breakfast burritos for the office last week and they were reported to be pretty good.
We stopped in and ordered at the counter and then made our way to their tables inside. Counter service was pleasant and quick and the place was packed. Our burritos came out about 5 minutes later and they were in fact pretty good.
What I enjoyed about the breakfast burritos was that they were not greasy, they were a good portion, and they served fresh avocado inside along with options like beans, eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, chorizo and cheddar. I tried a bite of the chorizo and it was tastier than the sausage. My burrito had avocado, eggs, light hash browns, cheddar and sausage and was around $ 7.00.
3.5 stars instead of 4 because I was not overly excited with either the red or green salsa flavor profile and they did not have a killer hot sauce that brought it all together, but sriracha did the trick in a pinch. The ingredients were all cooked spot on, potatoes crispy and everything tasted fresh and above average in quality but more Americanized than Mexican in flavor. Not the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had because without a great hot sauce it can tend to be somewhat bland and boring (I will definitely get the chorizo next time to help amp up the taste) but well done nonetheless.

So I used to play lots of golf at Brea Municipal and I’m a bit totally sad I never got to try this place. It turned out to be pretty good for a hole in the wall. Breakfast was over at 11:30, and at 11:40AM, they decided they did not want to make me my breakfast. They told me to «get up earlier next time». I was a bit disappointed since this has never happened to me before. I am usually the princess of all the land and they make me the burrito anyway.
I settled for a carne asada burrito. We got to sit into an air conditioned booth which was super nice considering most of these style restaurants are not air conditioned. The spaces are kinda small, maybe don’t bring a party bigger than 4. They had one unisex restroom. Plenty of parking for the restaurant since it was small to begin with.
The burrito itself was super meaty, great portions, and it’s always a good sign when I can’t finish. They give you the option to add beans if you want them, and I’m glad I didn’t have to ask for the hot sauce. Not too much to say, I think it’s better than Rigoberto’s… I’ll be back! Even though they wouldn’t make me breakfast. … :)

All in all its a typical burger joint! You’ll get your fix. It’s not my first choice to eat but hey it curves the craving.

If you want a good burger this is the place!
I remember coming here as a kid and was happy to see it still going strong.
They do have many of other food choices here besides burgers. I enjoy the bacon cheeseburger here and the onion rings are amazing!
The crew working was super nice and helpful. I noticed when the employees were not busy with customers they were cleaning and stocking up areas.

It’s «fast» food but not like Mcdonalds fast food of course. It’s your mom and pop fast place like Dukes, Tams, Angelos and Louie burger oh how I miss a ghetto burger from Louie burger!!! Back to Brea’s best best ;P They will be my go to when I crave this sort of stuff in NOCO and need a quickie bite. Brea has a lot of variety, especially sit downs, so this place is perfect for the eater who wants no thrills and frill, solid food!
So I had primo parking and we walked in, the «line» area kinda sucks because you have people who’ve ordered but just stand around waiting for their order while semi being in your way when you try to order! I let my family deal with that. I rushed in the little dining room and sat in a booth. Before I did that, I was really torn on what to order because I wanted a burger, but then I saw Mexican food, salads and my ATF sandwich a BLT. I made a choice finally! I went with a BLT with a little extra mayo. My sister had a burger and fries, mom ordered a patty melt and taquitos. Clearly this meal was not cohesive LOL. I could ordered a carne asada taco HAHA. For a «fast» food joint, the presentation was better than I ever expected.
I pretty much tasted all the food and it all tasted gooooooooood. My BLT was so good! The bread was perfectly toasted and the lettuce to bacon ratio was great. Bacon was crispy, not thick cut but still the job. I had no complaints with my sandwich, I’d order that again and again and again. My sisters burger and moms patty melt was good. The taquitos were more than decent, they were mainly for mom anyway: p
My family and I were thoroughly satisfied and seriously exceeded our expectations and we will be back sooner than later :)

Dieses Restaurant hält, was sein Name verspricht. Vorsicht für Unerfahrene: Wer sich die große Portion Onion Rings (Zwiebelringe) bestellt, hat zwar hervorragend gewählt, es kann aber sein, daß für das eigentliche Hauptgericht, den Burger, kein Platz mehr ist.
Neben dem prima Essen (SO muss ein Burger schmecken) ist auch das urige Ambiente so recht amerikanisch. Wer im Großraum L.A. unterwegs ist und irgendwie die Möglichkeit hat, sollte hier einkehren.
Eine Reise wert.
