UPDATE: came today for lunch. Had the most amazing service from a excellent server named Lorena! She was fabulous. So attentive, proactive, and we not once needed to ask for anything. The manager was also very polite & helpful. It was a good day today since we started it with Cocos. :) Bummer they are having issues with their Asian salad dressing, but hopefully it will be back soon.

Great food! Great service! Reasonable prices. I can get breakfast, lunch or dinner any time of the day. I’m so happy I work close to such a reliable restaurant

No sure why they have bad reviews. First time here the service was outstanding. Very attentive. The food was delicious. I didn’t once had to wait or try to get my servers attention. They came by often to refill my coffee cup. My breakfast was perfect just the way I ordered it. I am definitely coming back to this Cocos

I came here with my grandpa for lunch today and we had a great experience mainly because of our server Leo! He was very polite and attentive. There was some slightly rude customers(in my opinion) but it didn’t even look like it bothered him and he happily helped them. I got the multi-grain and nut pancakes and my grandpa got the crispy jumbo shrimp and said it was really good!

OKAY! If I could leave more stars I would. I have no idea why there are negative reviews on here. This place is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and the prices are hard to beat. My boyfriend and I looooove coming here for the spicy Asian chicken salad and prime rib burger. Can’t leave without their amazing pies either. Antonio is the homie and actually remembers his customers he is a sweetheart and makes the whole place shine!

I’m surprised that there are so many negative reviews below. Here is the thing, this is a diner/bakery type of place with sit-down service and low prices. Sometimes they appear to be understaffed, but I’m sure that’s how they keep the prices so low. They drop your check off at the table and you walk it up to the cashier yourself. This isn’t fine dining. I come here about twice a week for the lunch specials, which are amazing(half sandwich, soup and salad for about $ 8). I think just about everything on the lunch and breakfast menu is good and I’ve never been disappointed with their pies or cookies. Leo, Junior, Hector, and Carlos are all great servers.

Leo is great me and my girlfriend both have birthdays about a week apart and he has taken care of us both times. For our lunch he’s super friendly and always checks in on us to make sure everything is good and okay. Thanks Leo!!!

We got our food on dirty plates and no sincere apology. Not coming back here it’s just too gross. They remade our food on supposedly clean plates, but they were also ugly. The picture is of the clean plate, which the entire outside edge is discolored and rough from build up. I wish I would have taken a pic of our first plates with egg gunk stuck to the sides GETSOMENEWPLATESOR A NEWDISHWASHER ! 0 stars.

Service was great! Our server was so attentive and was always smiling and energetic and cracking jokes, and the food was great and came quickly. We used to go to iHop but the food here was tastier, and we got twice as much food for $ 10 cheaper! We will be returning soon.

I don’t think Coco’s deserved a Star, this review makes you put one. We(party of 3) arrived at 7:30AM, we were the Only ones waiting, they looked busy(we’ve been there in busier mornings) we waited about 3.5 mins. till someone could take my name & said we’ll be seated soon. Well after waiting 10 mins. And no one else but us 3… it was time to leave! Absolutely poor service(Not to even communicate anything about time to be seated) So we headed up the street to IHOP and we received GREAT Service & Delicious Breakfast! Coco’s in Brea is going down hill obviously Poor Management!!!

I dine here once per week for breakfast. The breakfast is always consistent and I am satisfied. It’s not gourmet — however they have expanded their menu and have healthy options with the calories posted. The coffee is good-not weak. The servers are all very nice and attentive. The prices are more reasonable than some of the other breakfast options in Brea as they do have daily breakfast specials.

A good waitress can’t make a bad meal or dirt restaurant pleasing. Two stars for the waitresses…, hate to be them. It’s Sunday and the restaurant is clearly understaffed and I can tell by the waitresses comments to the cook he isn’t that good. On the other hand, came here for dinner once and it was good.

I went her for breakfast on Saturday morning and it was crowded. Which is to be expected for a breakfast place. We got our seat in about 15 minutes. After we ordered it only took about 10 minutes to get our food, so that was good. The food was good. My biggest concern was the mens bathroom. OMG… for a nice restaurant that is «at capacity». They need to get that bathroom in order. When I came in they have 1 urial and 1 stall. I went to go remove my hearty breakfast to find that the toilet was over filling with toilet paper and had… for lack of a better work«a big ‘ol dump in it». All in all good restaurant. Just take a poop before you get here!

I’m not sure how a «breakfast joint» like Coco’s manages to completely screw up coffee, but whatever they poured into my coffee cup tasted radioactive and acidic. I can say it’s the worst coffee I’ve tasted in the state of California. My waffle was hard. The bacon was awful and 80% fat. The entire breakfast was a failure. The music on the radio was playing Bronski Beat’s «Small-town Boy» with the chorus repeatedly saying«Run away, run away, run away». I suggest you heed this advice and run far away from this place.

Always love the great hospitality and the food but I simply have to make a 3 star review for the constant sanitary mistakes with my few visits. These past few visits to this location has served me a cup of coffee only to find lipstick mark, which now has me questioning how good is their dishwasher guy? Sanitation is always a must for me esp at a restaurant so for this I have to say Im disappointed to continuously find my cup of coffee with another woman’s lipstick.

3.5 When you think of Coco’s you think of pie but food is just as important lol. I came here a longggg time ago and had such horrible service that I vowed to never step foot at this location but yesterday we were right next to it getting gas and we were contemplating what were going to eat for lunch since I refuse to eat anywhere during the lunch rush hours(11 – 1:30PM) My mom asked me if I wanted Coco’s instead of my usual Red Lobster and we decided to give it another chance since the parking lot was pretty empty. We were greeted immediately but the service was spotty since I feel like they were understaffed immensely, I only saw 2 waiters(including ours) running around like wild chickens with their heads cut off. Another thing that I didn’t expect was that they switched to using tablets(aka iPads) instead of the old fashion way of writing things down, his head was so immensed and wrapped up on the tablet that he couldn’t fully make eye contact with us and I was afraid he would mess up our order. I wonder how the old folks feel about this, because I was not feeling it at all! Coco’s has changed their menu and its amazing, they still kept some of their classics but added better lunch specials and more options. For $ 7.99 I got a mini turkey crossiant with a cup of soup and fries! Also for a dollar more you can add a slice of pie to it! The food was on point but one thing that irked me was the bread basket, they no longer offer it to you, you have to request it and they cut in half of what you used to get :(the bread basket looked so sad and depressing, the portions are drastic and wasn’t fresh out the oven like it used to be, rather just heated up for a second :( Overall I’ll always love Coco’s and have no problem coming back to this location, I just wish they had more staff so the servers can really focus on the customers and not running around like crazies. ^__^

They have excellent service from my experience. Their menu and graphics are gorgeously designed. I wish the building matched the awesomeness of the menu redesign! The food is okay, but the muffin… oh the muffin… now that’s amazing. They have the BEST blueberry . It was indescribably incredible.

I went here for lunch last week and it will probably be the one and only time I eat here ever. I love-love-love the Coco’s Club. I order it 99% of the time for lunch. The one I ordered here made me sick. Also, this location doesn’t have a counter to sit at. Boo.
