Just received my veil. It’s absolutely amazing and such great value. Candi and I emailed back and forth, she was so responsive, sent me pictures of lace to choose from and once I decided which one suited best (literally identical to my dress!) I showed her pictures of what I had in mind. Two weeks later and I have a custom size, made to measure hand crafted veil in my house. Amazing creation and wonderful customer service. Could not be happier!

I am so thankful that I found Crowning Glory. I visited her home studio with my dress in hand, and she helped me design the perfect veil. Originally I thought I wanted a mantilla veil, but after trying different sample styles, I ended up loving the two tier veil. Candi helped me pick out a color and lace trim that perfectly matched my dress — and even measured me and the bodice of the dress to make sure that the lace trim did not cover the beautiful beading on the back of my dress. She was extremely professional, her work was beautiful, and the veil arrived in the mail carefully packaged. Even after storing for several months before the wedding, the veil wasn’t wrinkled and stayed comfortably in my hair the entire ceremony. On top of the quality work and custom design, Candi’s veils were the best price I could find, in-​store or through any online site including Etsy. I could not recommend her more highly.

I originally was going to buy a veil at the same boutique where I purchased my wedding gown but I couldn’t justify such an expensive cost for something that I was going to wear for literally a 20 minute ceremony. I decided to look elsewhere and found the wonderful Candi right here on Unilocal.I couldn’t agree more with every single 5 star review on here. From the start, Candi was extremely professional, prompt, and accommodating. I brought pictures of my dress and she kindly offered her professional opinion on what veil style would look best. Her prices were beyond reasonable for the quality and I really appreciated her dedication and love of the craft. I saw some of the other more intricate veils she was working on for other brides and I was just so impressed with her talent. My veil came out beautifully and it stayed secure the entire time I was wearing it. I would 110% recommend Candi to all you brides out there! :)

Candi made me not one but TWO incredible veils. I initially thought I wanted a chapel-​lengthed veil and e-​mailed her a few pictures of one I had tried on in the bridal shop I purchased my wedding gown at. At the bridal shop, it cost $ 500. Candi made me an exact replica for under $ 100. It was so beautiful. Although the veil was breathtaking, I later changed my mind and decided I wanted a shorter fingertip veil with lace trim. I wasn’t exactly sure what kind of lace I wanted, so I made an appointment to see Candi in person this time. When I arrived she had pulled several different lace samples in my specified shade of white. She helped me pick the perfect lace to complement my gown, which was all crystal lace, so I was very concerned about ensuring the lace on the veil did not clash with the lace all over the gown. She was simply amazing. She even gave me a discount on the second veil since I had previously ordered another one. This was probably the best value I got of everything I purchased for my wedding. If you shop for veils at bridal boutiques you will have a difficult time finding one for under $ 350 or so. Candi will make you a custom one that is higher quality, more unique, and a fraction of the cost. Our photographer loved the veil so much we used it extensively in pictures. People comment on the veil when looking at the wedding photos all the time. I simply cannot recommend Candi enough!

I loved Candi, I loved my veil and I loved the price! The best way to describe it… Perfect! My dress was ivory and gold. I am a plain girl and didn’t want «too much and Candi nailed it! I got my veil about 5 months before my wedding. I couldn’t wait to wear it. When I did, it completed everything.

Candi is the BEST at her craft and a sweetheart too! We truly did not give her much notice and our daughter wanted a cathedral train with crystals on the border! If I can give Candi a 100 stars I would, this lady is unbelievably nice and helpful, I went in today to order my veil, I had many ideas in mind but she made it so easy to narrow down my options and promised to make exactly the veil I had in mind. I’ll update my review once I actually pick up my order, but so far I’m very satisfied with her services and prices.

I was looking for a veil for my wedding day. I am/​was a very particular bride and I wanted my veil to be custom made. The pre-​made wedding veils just didn’t interest me. My rationale? I don’t want to fit my veil rather I want my veil to fit me. After several attempts of veil-​shopping, nothing really catched my eye so I decided to search on Unilocal.Thank goodness that I found Crowning Glory Designs. I don’t know what else to say about Kandi. She is a very talented woman and she loves what she does! I was so fascinated on how detail-​oriented she was. Her price was very reasonable as well. I love how fast she worked on my veil considering that I went to her a little over 3 weeks before my wedding day! She did an amazing job with my veil and it met my expectations. I like how she made my two-​tier veil detachable so I can wear the shorter veil on my wedding reception. The crystals and rhinestones on my veils were so intricately applied and there were roughly more than 3,000 Swarovski crystals and rhinestones applied. Thank you so much Kandi!

Candi and her veils are wonderful! After reading so many raving reviews about her online, I decided to take the plunge and order my veil from a vendor 3,000 miles away. Candi is very knowledgeable about materials and embellishments so she was able to make suggestions about what would work best with my wedding gown. She is also patient and responsive, sending me pictures of her lace samples. The finished result is gorgeous and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle in my veil. Her prices are more than fair and she’s got something for brides on any budget.

What could I say about Candi and her work? Well, for starters, I NEVER write reviews, but she is completely worthy of one.
After searching high and low for the perfect veil for my wedding, I stumbled upon Crowning Glory Designs and Candi’s beautiful work. I gave her a call and she was absolutely sweet and willing to work with me to set a day to go to her in-​home studio and start customizing my veil. Ladies, do not look anywhere else because she is the real-​deal! Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, as soon as Candi opened the door, I felt right at home. She is such a caring, welcoming person, and it’s as if I had know her for years.
I digress. We walked into her studio and I immediately saw a clean and organized workspace, and lots of netting and tulle and, well, all of the perfect trimmings to make your veil PERFECT for your special day. I went in with ideas, and brought in a photo of my wedding gown, and you could see her wheels spinning and her creative mind and vision at work. She let me try on different styles of veils at varying lengths, and when I decided on a style I liked, she recommended a specific length in order to highlight my dress and be practical for my walk down the aisle (I was going to be descending down a staircase from a terrace, and the staircase was surrounding my twigs and bushes)…and she showed me different styles and colors of lace and other trimmings…
All I have to say is my veil was not only PERFECT, beautiful, romantic, and customized, it was also one-​of-​a-​kind in that Candi used a lace that was obsolete that she’d been holding onto. Better yet, the price for her work? Well, my veil was only $ 75 once everything was said and done!!! A veil from other bridal salons will easily cost $ 250+, so this was an absolute STEAL for something completely tailored to me!!!
Again, I cannot thank Candi enough for her gorgeous work! I have had many friends get engaged after I did, and I have referred them ALL to Crowning Glory Designs. I could not be happier!!! :)

If you’re looking for a veil for your wedding day, you have to go see Candi! She is so sweet and very talented. I found Candi on Unilocal after purchasing my gown because I needed a veil. I was looking at a veil at the shop I bought my gown at and they wanted close to $ 500 for it. It was a very simple veil with a single layer of rhinestones around the edge, nothing too fancy I didn’t think. My dress was beaded everywhere so I didn’t want something to clash or take away from the dress. When my mother and I met Candi, I knew she would be the one to make my veil, not because of her incredible pricing, but because I knew who would be making it. She is very passionate at what she does and who she is making them for. She wants her brides to feel beautiful and make them happy and that is exactly what she did for me! I had to write my review early because I am just so happy with Candi and her work! I am not getting married until this July and my veil isn’t even 100% finished but I have already received the first pictures of her ideas and I am just so happy! I can’t wait to see the final piece. Candi is simply amazing at what she does. She is pleasant to work with and extremely patient! I found her through Unilocal,sent an email, and she got back to me that same day. We set an appointment to meet at her home later that week.
She has a beautiful Tiffany-​blue room that is dedicated solely to creating veils. She has several cuts, styles, and details to look through and I was a bit overwhelmed at all the choices. But Candi sat me down and we took it step by step. I really had no idea what I was looking for but she was able to make recommendations based on my wedding style and preferences. I really loved how she has veils that you can try on so you can really get a feel for the length and amount of detail you would like.
Once we nailed down the length, cut, and detailing that I wanted, she was able to give me a price estimate. Her pricing is phenomenal. We went back and forth via email for about a week and she was so patient with my indecision. I sent her pictures of lace beading that I wanted and she was able to offer me a more cost effective option to achieve the look I wanted.
The veil was ready in less than 2 weeks and I was able to pick it up once she emailed me. I flew my veil out to the Philippines for our wedding and like she advised, all the wrinkles came out after simply laying the veil out for a day or two. I got hundreds of compliments on the intricate details of my veil and I would definitely recommend Candi to anyone looking for amazing quality at an affordable price. Crowning Glory Designs is a no-​brainer choice for your wedding veil needs!

I was not even sure that I wanted to wear a veil on my wedding day, but one of my friends was telling me about her experience with Crowning Glory Designs so I decided to investigate the option. I was so glad that I did and Candi was so great to work with, because she was extremely responsive and very knowledgeable.

I think Crowning Glory Designs and Candi were the only things about my wedding planning that I wanted to keep as my little secret. But her work is too great and it feels like such a steal price-​wise that I can’t deny the Unilocal community this gem.
Candi is great with communicating via email and she’s even more of a pleasure when you meet her in person. She seems genuinely interested in your wedding planning process, your personality as a bride and of course — the dress. I showed her pictures of my dress and told her what I had in mind (I imagined a vintage style Juliet cap) but 1. Candi told me she doesn’t do Juliet caps; and 2. it wouldn’t look nice with my dress. She’s had a lot of happy clients so she knows a thing or two about appeasing a bride.
Her studio is full of BEAUTIFUL veils varying in design, intricate lace, flowing tulle… it’s a dream come true. Even though the veils vary in price, Candi never tried to up-​sell me and was very honest about what would complement my dress and frame my figure.
I think I almost teared up the first time I tried on my veil — I didn’t even feel that emotional when I tried on my dress. There’s just something so precious and exciting about putting on that one accessory. It doesn’t hurt that Candi is standing right next to you, squealing in genuine excitement for you, and reassuring you that everything’s going to be ok.

Planning a wedding is not cheap — no matter what the size and no matter how much of it is DIY (because, let’s face it, you can spend time, but never really get it back).
I needed a veil, so I started researching. I really didn’t want to spend too much on something that I’d probably wear for 15 minutes max (we had a very short ceremony because we wanted to get the party started ASAP).
Thanks to Unilocal,I found Crowning Glory Designs. I e-​mailed Candi and met with her. I brought my dress with me to give her an idea of what kind of veil I wanted. Candi quoted me the price and it was a heck of a lot less than the ones I was screen-​shopping.
Candi had said she’d have it done in two weeks. To my surprise, she got it done in one week. I was impressed that she sewed on the rhinestones because while my veil was pretty «simple,» there were quite a few rhinestones on it. Huge props to Candi for going that far with the detail. I mean, to think, I probably would’ve paid twice that for likely shotty, machine-​crafted work.
Candi really should be your first (and IMHO only) stop if you are looking for a veil. She has plenty of samples to show. She really was great at helping me determine which veil length would be right for me and staying within my budget.
