Friendly staff and fast service. I’ve been here a few time during my lunch hour and have been served promptly. I’ve had their wet bean and cheese burrito and carne asada quesadilla on different occasions, both were really good.

Usually fast service. Staff is friendly. I wish they had more veggie options, otherwise I enjoy the spinach enchiladas.

Great little place for casual Mexican food. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. Chile Verde and adobada tacos were tasty. The tamales were pretty big with generous amounts of meat inside. The tomatillo salsa from the salsa bar had a little heat but plenty of flavor. All that food for around $ 15…great deal!

The meat was average and the corn tortillas were not cooked at all, they broke open right after the first bite. Extremely disappointed.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile. The tacos are awesome, especially the meats which are well seasoned and tender. The pozole was delicious. The salsa bar is top notch and the watermelon agua fresca was tasty as well. This is definitely on our list of local go to spots.

Tried their carnitas enchiladas. Excellent! Went back for taco Tuesday. Amazing prices and quality. Chile Verde taco was so good, along with their chicken and potato tacos. Great salsa bar. Nice family run restaurant. Support local! Dam the corporations

First of all, no greeting from any of the workers there because they were too busy talking to each other and Manager and a cashier eating and chstting while most of the tables were full of emptied dishes and trash all over so i asked cashier girl who the manager was and she pointed to a dude sitting in front of her and manager just said so what when i told him tables were dirty. Price is riduculously high for a fast food joint and most of all food isn’t all that great.

Taco Tuesday offers some tasty options, including healthy — sized street tacos for $ 1.35. The green posole is great but they don’t make it often. I always enjoy the sopes, which may not be such a $ deal but very tasty. Yesterday, I discovered the $ 4 Margaritas on the rocks! They make their own mix with several juices. That alone is worth going back for.

Been going past this place for sometime and decided today to give it a shot after a friend said the food is good. Well he was correct and it was great! I ordered two asada tacos and the carne asada was cooked to order and stuffed with meat they don’t skimp on the meat here. Salsa bar was all fresh and looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items.

I got tacos here on a Tuesday, and they were big. The meat was cooked just right and it was juicy. They seemed pretty nice there too. I would come back and try different things there.

My brother brought me here twice while I was back home visiting. Mexican food is my favorite, so I’m always interested in checking out a new find. The place is a small little hole in the wall. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. We split a vegetarian nacho plate and a 2 taco plate. The nachos were awesome. I recommend splitting them as they give you a very large heaping portion. The shredded beef taco, rice and beans were also delicious. The people working there were friendly and sweet. I will be back next time I’m out!

Really good Mexican comfort food in a fast food setting. Surprised by the wide selection of dishes to choose from. Fast, friendly, and tasty meals at fair prices. Plenty of local regulars; popular place. Pleasantly surprised be the large outdoor patio seating area. My personal favorite(so far), is the lobster burrito, served wet with verde sauce. Yum!!!

Got the Asada Nachos. Gives you bigger chunks of meat, comes with pico, and other stuff. Different from typical nachos you get at other places. Cleanliness however knocks down one star

I visited this place few Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. It is good quality and friendly service. Wife and I dining for nacho and tostada. First of service is friendly with big simile that is NOT force or fake. The dish are served in hot beautiful plates. Nacho had nice spread and all chips are covered with some topping. There is no unwanted chip on the plate. Chicken tostada where chicken is nice marinate. There is live band signing old 70s Friday. Nice hidden treasure since located on major street so you can drive by without noticing the place.

It seems like people either love this place or don’t care for it… weird. I went today for lunch and I think their food is outstanding. I got three tacos and a side of black beans. I liked everything. They even unexpectedly threw in a side of guacamole that was good. The food was flavorful, fresh and not greasy: this is what Mexican food should taste like. I’m definitely coming back.

Solid Mexican, order and they bring it to your table place. Just off the Brea downtown strip, it is super convenient and quite affordable. The Carne Asada with flour tortilla’s hit the spot. Nice tables for convenient outside dining. Seemed super clean and staff was friendly.

I grew up in San Diego, only five miles from the Mexi-Cali border, Mexican cuisine has a special place in my heart. I’m a huge proponent of small business, but I also have to be honest about my reviews. I came here with high expectations based on the good reviews on Unilocal.I’m a little surprised though, this was far from what I had expected. The staff is nice, but not exactly friendly, you know that feeling you get when they’re just there to do their job, not very warm, inviting or lively? They are merely a transitory medium between monetary exchange and the ordering of the food. To start off the salsas were very plain. The salsa can really make or break which direction the overall meal goes. The red salsa, I assumed to be the spiciest, had no heat behind it. I love spicy, but this didn’t even come close. The taste was too weak and had no kick. The cilantro-lime salsa, the better of the three that I tried, good tangy mixture and had a nice balance of flavors. The last one I think was the salsa verde, wasn’t very good, it tasted bland. None of the salsas had any type of heat, it was a bit of a disappointment. I had the rice and beans along with the meal. Beans are cooked perfectly, the taste was superb, but the rice tasted a little dry and could use a little work. Now onto the star of the show, the carne asada burrito. I liked how they tossed the burrito back on the grill after it was wrapped, you can tell by the grill marks, it gave it a nice crisp shell and something extra to the taste. For it being a carne asada burrito, I have to say I didn’t taste a whole lot of carne asada. I was taken aback, because if I wanted a plain bean and cheese burrito, i would have ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The overall meal wasn’t very stunning or spectacular, it didn’t make me want to come back for me. The inside of the restaurant really needs to be cleaned up, the bottom edges of the counter looks messy and worn down. The pictures on the ceiling looks too unprofessional.
