History

Established in 2009.

Ecoworkz was formed in 2009 by two brothers that wanted to provide customers with the eco friendly option of Artificial Turf alongside their wide variety of landscape and flatwork services. Tom and Bret’s quest to save homeowners time, money and water has been a huge success with over 500,000 sq. ft. of Artificial Grass installed saving Southern California residents nearly 15 Million gallons of water!

We used Starbright for a complete landscape after our remodel. There was extensive hardscape and stone work, planting, lighting, sprinklers, the whole deal. I’m also particular as a professional designer. Everything came out as planned and great quality work. Highly recommend them.

When the drought started, we did our part and conserved… we even turned off the water to the yard. Now part of me kind of wishes we hadn’t since the Yorba Linda Water District didn’t make enough money this year and now will be tripling everyone’s’ bills to make up for it but I digress! My point is our backyard was a mess and with El Nino coming plus a brand new puppy that EATS dirt, we had to do something. So we consulted Unilocal and called a bunch of places to come out for bids.
Ecoworkz Synthetic Grass is who we went with and they did a gorgeous job. They saved our surviving tree, routing one pipe of our drip system to it, then covered it with industrial grade artificial turf and laid pavers down one side of the grass along our fence to close a gap that we had. They expertly cut around our air conditioning unit, covering up an area where dogs seem to like digging and they removed a stepping stone between our two patios which didn’t make sense anyway.
The results are amazing. Our yard looks fantastic and my little Frankie as well as her best dog friend Bo (big black lab) have lounged around on the grass for hours, played like they’ve never played in a yard before and gone potty on it (which was really easy to clean up based on the thickness of the grass since it just sits right on top). The price was very reasonable too. We received an estimate from a company that rhymes with Bindoll-Fit-Correct and they initially were $ 2,200+ OVER what we paid with Ecoworkz and they weren’t going to do the paver work!
We couldn’t be happier that we went with Ecoworkz. 5 stars for them and they are Woohoo! As good as it gets!

I originally started a large project in my back yard with another company but after 4 months of a torn up back yard and nothing complete, I contacted Tom. Ecoworkz had put in synthetic grass a few years ago in my front yard. I didn’t realize they also did Pavers or I would have contacted them instead of the this other company. To make a long story short, after I signed the contract with Ecoworkz, they fixed the pavers put in by the other company, added more pavers and the synthetic grass. I was so happy with the process. They told me they would be there to start on Monday. They showed up on time, ready to work. My yard was done in one week and it looks beautiful! Thank you Tom and the crew from Ecoworkz.

These guys were flat out heroes for us. We got quotes from three different fake grass folks. We also got a quote to replace our sod. Our backyard had gone to hell due to bad sprinkler placement plus the unkind bunny rabbits eating all up the grass and leaving pellets behind. We decided to go the sod route because the price and I had a bunny rabbit elimination plan. I should mention that we were preparing to host a big party and needed to get the backyard in shape. So the sod guy assured me he’d show up and begin the process the Sunday, then he had an issue and he’d be there Monday. After a Monday no show I called and now he was unreachable. On Tuesday night before the party on Saturday, we reached out to Tom, who was the best of the three quotes and asked him if he could do it, and he could! The job started on Friday by Raul and a crew of six gentlemen, but they worked diligently and were done 2 hours before the party started. They did a thorough and professional job. We paid more dollars, but ultimately this was a blessing in disguise because we love the look of the turf and know it’s going to pay off in the long run. Tom provided us multiple options that made this more palatable, and provided us real samples where the others did not. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Winner winner!

One day after I did my review Tom from Eco contacted me by text. He followed up immediately with his promise to have his secretary send out the warranty information and final records for the job. Seems like if i would have dealt with him the whole time it would have been a better transaction all around. If you decide to use them go directly through Tom.
